I have 2 beefs that need some attention:

1. In my city (Hardcore Village, Naboo, Intrepid) some of our houses have a bug where items disappear from inventory when you leave the house, go into the gulid hall, the conditionsvary, butare very annoying for commerce as I'm moving items into the guild hall for sale on my vendors. The only solution is to wait for the server reset every morning so there's always a 24-hour delay from when I would like to do something to when I can actually do it. Very annoying. Fix it please.

2. As the cap has been reached on our planet and server (Intrepid), we can't advance our player city past village so now we can't have things like a manufacturing center with all the perks afforded by our politician's advancement in skills. Just because some folks were first in line they reap the benefits of the city advancement system. This is not in the spirit of the rest of the gameplay, especially in the merchant and artisan skills. We at Hardcore are interested in developing our player city into a great city and it seems dumb to me that all the great players who choose tolive in our city are shackled by these server restraints, instead of letting the market be the deciding factor.

I'm a Master Weaponsmith/Master Artisan and 4-0-4-4 Merchant and I have no interest in moving to another player city for the artisan bonuses just because they were first in line. I like the group of players in my city and want the best opportunity for them to advance in our group goals. Right now we're stuck and it is very frustrating.

Change the city advancement system so we can expand our city if we want to.

Developers say they play many hours each week. I want to know if they ever play on a busy server like Eclipse and travel to Dantooine or Lok and try to craft of use a vendor there. I bet if they did we would see some improvement in the lag.

Thunderheart,

If defenses are not going to stack, then offenses should not stack either (such as Pistol Speed and Carbine speed).

I suggest the following should be considered....

Defense vs. whatever

...should stack.

Counterattack

Block

Dodge

Melee Defense

Ranged Defense

...should probably not stack.

I've seen too many players where literally 9 out of 10 attacks do not land on them.... they are basically doing PvPin god mode now.

Also, Combat medics only have ONE counter to their attacks -- that being a Doctor which is within approx 10m of their target's attack.

Is it balanced that a profession can use an attackfrom 40m out which requires another profession to counter that attack? Also, that one profession has to be standing within 10m of the target to defend against it?

Would it be possible to give poisons / diseases a 75% reductionand for themnot to stack any longer?

Would it be possible for the AOE diseases / poisons to either have a small radius of attack (like 5m) or for their potency to be reduced when attacking a crowd?

One thing I hope you address in the combat balance pass is speed mods. It's pretty useless with most weapons less than 5 sec being brought down to the speed cap (1 sec) by speed mods. What's the point with a fast pistol if a rifle with speed 7 hits the cap anyway? Furthermore it doesn't make much sense that one profession can fire exactly the same weapon faster/slower than another profession.

I'm hoping this gets fixed. If it was up to me I'd simply remove profession speed mods on weapons and instead implement special attacks that for example do full auto fire, temporarily boosting dps that way.

One the biggest downsides to this game is the lack of group play I've seen. Maybe it's jsut my server, but it seems that it's usually more "profitable" xp-wise to hunt solo then in a group.

The reason for this is that creatures have a limited amount of XP to give and that XP is split by who does x amount of damage to a mob.

Those players in a group that can outdamage everyone else (commandos with FT, bounty hunters with LLC, tkas) wind up getting the bigger chunk of the xp, while other weapon-users (carbineers, smugglers, etc...) get the short end of the stick.

Now, before you say "So what, it's fair. The guy with the bigger gun did more work therefore he deserves more" you have to look at what's resulting from this situation. You have a split here from two points of view. You have the Commando or the BH that thinks "I could be getting more XP from these mobs if that dude wasn't here taking some of it with him AND I can probably handle that mob by myself."

The Carbineer looks at the situation and thinks "Hmmm...I could get jsut as much XP killing X mob with less risk by myself...so why am I bothering with this guy?"

So, you have the two part ways, go fight by themselves, get really bored and blah blah blah

I guess the point of this is to ask why aren't there any group-xp bonuses like in most MMOs out there. While these bonuses make grouping a little more nessecary then most would want, grouping does make these games a lot more bearible from just the human interaction you share while on a hunt a few people. The larger the group, the better the bonuses, which means the harder the kills or missions a group would take in order to maximize their bonuses. This, in turn, makes the game a bit more fun.

Well...I'm babbling now...dI'm tired and ready to go home so if none of this made sense just go ahead and pass this post by, and don't take another look

TH,

There have been varied dev. answers on whether sliced armor is considered controband...some devs have said yes, some have said no.

Can we get a definite yes/no on this?

Also, if the answer is yes, what is your thoughton the fact that some armor (composite) isn't wearable by most players without encumberance slicing?

Why has the bug that prevents wookiees from using C12 fragmentation grenades not been fixed yet? Its a spelling problem that seems like an easy fix. The cert for wookiees is "Cert fragmentation lightagmentation light" while the cert for everyone else is "Light Fragmentation grenade"

Wookiees have been neglected and ignored for so long... sad, but I don't think they're concerned about them in the slightest.

From the lack of armor to misc. bugs... NOTHING from the developers as to what they're going to do and when.

TH - any idea on when us poor Wookiee are going to getsome loving? -Maybe clothes, esp ones that can take tissues. Currently I'm limited to one shoulder pad (shouldn'tI be able to wear two? - left and right) with +4 melee/+16 stun protection.

And please get someone to fix our grenade cert typo, it's been 9 months now.

Current things in Live that are buggin' me...

Fishing is broken. I wanted to spend some idle time fishing and seeing if fishing pole quality matters, but I can't. If a detailed report of what is and is not happening with that, PM me or email me or something.

I cannot remove my profession title. I'd love to be able to do that, but the game does not save "No Title" information--this drives me up a wall!!!! In theory this should be a really simple fix since saving other titles does work! The best I can currently do is set myself to No Title at the beginning of each session.

Characters can still use titles that they no longer qualify for. For example, someone gets Novice Chef, sets that as their title, then for one reason or another drops Novice Chef. As long as they don't mess with their title, they're still set as a Novice Chef. I think that there should be a check to see if a player qualifies for a title, and if they don't, set them to No Title (but actually have the No Title stick).

Spoken language preference does not save. I'm Bothan, so I want to speak Bothese! I can, but at the beginning of each session I have to manually change my language preference. Just allowing the language preference to save would mean that more players would speak in the tongue of their choice because it would no longer be such an inconvenience. In theory, this is also a fairly simple fix.

My breasts show through <insert clothing item here>. *sighs* I created an avatar with a breast size similar to my own... I like to associate with my avatar. I have large breasts, andnot all clothing items scale correctly. For example... on a large breasted Bothan the Ubese Jacket is not quite big enough up front and two golden triangles of fur show through the lapels. I find clothing items like this on occasion, but since I want to wear armor sometimes, my work around is that I crafted a shirt with a similar color to the lapels and wear that underneath. That works fairly well.
