Most likely yes, that 2 week vacation in december resulted in a 4 week delay which we will likely see conttinued until the devs next vacation.
You mean you put down the whip long enough for the developers to have a Christmas break? How very nice of you.
Get over yourself.

Not true. You don't have to wear the heaviest armor in the game. There are other types of armor besides composite. And every other type has less encumberance. You can also have the armor's encumberance experimented down at the price of a few % resistance. It's all give and take. The only reason the armor is so cumbersome is because it's very heavy and clunky to be able to absorb taht much damage. If you wear the most resistant armor, you pay the penalty.

3) Sliced armor is being scanned for, but every race but Humans NEED armor sliced in order to wear it effectively. We've been hearing a lot about a HAM rebalance, is this coming out at the same time, or should we assume that all alien races will receive penalties for armor?
So all humans will be the best PvP'ers then because they'll be able to get away without the penalties?
The encumbrance on armor is silly, if you get a gun, you can still use it if sliced. If I get a shirt, it will fit any race, if I get some armor though, only certain races will be able to wear a set of composite if it isn't sliced. It's practically impossible to get a zabrak in a decent set of composite without slicing. Slicing should be something that gives an added benefit, it shouldn't be a requirement to wearing it.

The real issue here is one specific group of players (humans) can lower their risk by migrating their stats to wearmost composite unsliced. This is not so for non-humans, who typically have a 400 cap on one or more substat(s). Unless you only fight creatures, composite is the only real choice.
(When I was a master armorsmith, I neverbothered to make anything other thanhigh kinetic ubese or various protection/encumbrancecombinations of composite. Mabari, bone, and chitin are noob armor, and padded is almost as heavy as composite while beingsignificantly less protective.)

If an COVERT rebel is scanned, they go OVERT according to the powst by TH earlier in the week. Should this not be TEF'ed?
A TEF will take us out of action, assuming we survive, for 5 minutes.
Being forced OVERT will take us out of action for over an hour.
For a crafter class, this is kind of a raw deal.

LOL..it is a better deal than the imp gets.
I guess you can always leave your sliced stuff, or drugs at home if you are going abroad to trade. I dont see the problem.

Publish 6 will go Live next Thursday, February 12th, 2004.
So we can expect Publish 6 sometime around next September. Thanks for the info!

2) Neutrals should be penalized hard, they are potenial rebs and should be scanned more often. This will force people to choose sides.
