Alot of nice stuff...


I'magainst the change to Panic Shot though...


As it does damage, you make it effectively worthless if we accidently doubletap the special, as some mobs affected by it, would no longer be.


There is also a fundamental differance in actionbetween someone yelling at you, and someone shooting a blaster at you.


Yelling at me just makes me wonder whther you have brushed your teeth lately, or why on earth you would be screaming in my face, effectively delaying me, but if you hit me, I'm going to hit you back, immediatly.


Panic shot is blaster fire... I'd be dodging that and praying it didn't hit me and I'd be much more effectively delayed.


I was fine with the warcry stuff, though I wish it would be changed to AOE instead of a cone effect, and I'm a Master Brawler...


Just please don't make another smuggler special useless.

Panic shot is a cone effect though. Worthless if you are fighting one person, but good if you have multiple enemies stupid enough to stand next to eachother.

Professions: Smuggler


  • Made droids, vehicles and turrets immune to the delay effect of panic shot.
  • Changed panic shot to not switch your combat target.
  • The delay effect of panic shot will break on damage to the target.

    Completely agree. I would like to have some clarification here as to why the Developers (note, not everyone playing) think this is a reasonable change.


    Warcry is like the kihap (yell) in martial arts. It is meant to surprise your opponent and allow you to take advantage of that moment when you throw them off guard.


    Panic shot is an attack that is basically like wildly firing at the target. I'd sure as hell be ducking behind cover and trying to keep from getting hit, hence my interpretation of the delay.

    Balance changes. While I agree with the reasoning behind why it should be a full-on delay, if they left it alone as-is, it would immediately become more powerful than warcry. Then you'd have people complaining about "why did they nerf warcry and not panic shot! unfair!". Each one works a bit differently, and has it's use now. Just gonna have to get used to it, I suppose. Though, you also have to realize panic shot does damage AND delays, where as warcry delays, but at the cost of a round of damage.

    For a profession that "Needed the most love" as recently as a month ago, the Smuggler profession has taken it hard in the ear on this one.And now there's mention that knockdowns are overpowered. So which is it? In addition to a useless Underworld line, an obsoleted Spice line and a deteriorating Dirty Fighting line, is the oft-promised"Smuggler Revamp" to be a title-change to Slicer? Could we just do that now and save ourselves the wait (until after the droid invasion, the combat revamp, the space-expansion and the destruction of the second Death Star)?

    What happened to the Doctor's part in the Notes. It was originally there where Buffs could be Re-Done over Existing Buffs and the Randomness of the Buffs being fixed?

    Agreed was said publish 7 for slot change

    I think it would have been wise to keep us advised about such a major part o fthe game.

    Think of how many ppl stopped trying for jedi because of annoucement of change.

    Ifor one was going to give up but im on 25th profession. so i would like to know whats going on.

    And again publish 7 fails to adress teh issue that was missed in 6 and repeatedly informed about in 5:


    the Agrilash cave badge screwing over the exploration badge collectors by not giving a badge if you have bin to the spice mines and giving you the spice mines badge if you havent


    all the CSR's say is dev's look at bug reports i have yet to see this issue even be recognised by the devs never mind corrected!
