Thread: Publish 7: Major Features
2. Why is warcry being nerfed?
3. Will panic shot be effected the same way warcry is?
4. What is the number value of the hard cap on defense mods?
5. What defense mods are actually affected?
6. Why is crafting being nerfed?
7. How will the critical errors on crafting be implemented? Lowering critical failures from novice to master is not a benefit if the critical failure rate is increased at the novice level and decreases to the current level at master.
1. The Devs have never given hard guidelines of what is and is not a CL10 creature....BEs have begged for it forever and will supposedly receive taht info in a guide to BE crafting as a Friday Feature within the next month.
2/3. No clue
4/5. YOu won't get told this before the patch. I bet that most of the #s for people's bonuses for each level will be changin gand any changes people make now thinking they will be right at the cap and ahead of the game will be screwed and pitch a big hissy fit about it all right here on our boards after they screm themselves.
6. Crafting is not being nerfed. Weighting the system so that using good materials means more is a good thing as you will see experimentation points go farther with good materials and if you're making something using crap you won't get much of aproduct out of it. This system will only make thing BETTER for masters.
7. As has been stated, currently there is a 5% chance of crit failing. As has also been stated there is going to STILL be a base 5% chance for failure, however, it will be adjusted downward as you go up from Novice to Master of your chosen crafting field. So Possibly a Master will only have a 1% failure whereas a Novice will have 5% seems quite fair to me really. Better too.

The camp calling ( or lack there of now ) Is a great boon. But I still would LOVE to See MEDICS Get the ability to USE the fire blankets and let the Doctors Make them. There is BY FAR, WAAAAAYYYY To many PvP Commandos vs Doctor on your avg typical ratio to and the full mind hit is just plain BS.
Scenario, Doc heals burning patient, Doc gets shot by random pistol fire or a mind purposed one afterwards BAM Dead Doc, continue with the Burning of the rest of the population the Doc was trying to keep healed.
Again I say PLEASE LET ALL MEDICS USE THE FIRE BLANKETS and reduce the hit to the mind, docs and medics already take a mind hit as it is to heal anyway.
A player will not be able to call a vehicle/mount/pet/droid during combat or for 60 seconds after combat is concluded
Since Runsaber's announcement about no delay in cities I'm noticing a lot of posts have overlooked this line from TH's second post.

I did want to take a little time to update you on what we have decided in regards to changes to removing the camp restriction for calling pets, droids, mounts and vehicles. We have decided to alter our changes so that calling a pet, mount, vehicle or droid will work like normal without the new time delays when called from a Scout camp or inside a city. Effectively, this means calling a pet, droid, mount or vehicle will work the same in Publish 7 as it currently does when called from a Scout camp or city. When calling outside a Scout camp or city, the new changes will apply.Message Edited by SWG-Runesabre on 02-25-2004 02:47 PM
