Okay, this may be totally off-topic, but is there any chance we could get a seperate tracker for the live event team? When 90% of the posts are about live events the Dev Tracker gets much less useful (for me anyway). I've yet to see a live event and I've mastered 6 professions so I've been around a fair amount.

I guess the per server forum give-aways have me irritated. I don't collect pretty useless junk, so I've got zero interest in that. SWG as a whole seems to be opposed to having any loot of value, so live-events are just things to be avoided mostly.

Secondly, given some of the above, I noticed that Development Team IS LISTENING and making choices based upon this feedback in this thread and the other.

Thanks Wepps. Thats the goal.

We are definately listening, and I am tracking all the important stuff. There is a lot going on and we are reaching an important phase of the project.

Two things TH.

1) I think you guys are doing a very poor job of communicating with your customers. Your new 'communication' setup seems to consist of having us transmit information towards you and then, well, that's all I know. You aren't 'communicating' with us. You see, if we were both 'communicating', we (the customers)wouldget feedback from you guys. You know, information. Responses to our ideas, thoughts, opinions, whatever. That isn't happening.

2) I think you guys are doing a very poor job of following through with what you say you are going to do.Case in point, the 'In Concept' http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=In%20Conceptpage contains this little dozy:
"The community is invited to make comments and suggestions about the proposed changes from Monday, January 5th through Wednesday, January 21st. (In Concept Forum will be live on January 5th)"

It is the 16th of January and the only thing located in the "In Concept" forum is Q's 'Hey, look at this new forum' message. It is 11 days past the time you said we would be 'invited to make comments and suggestions about the proposed changes' and you guys have neither created a thread with informationupon which we can comment nor have you changed the "In Concept" page to reflect the fact that the original dates were incorrect.

It doesn't take much effort to establish a good track record of following through on what you say you are going to do or at the least, keep your customers informed of changes. Unfortunately, it takes even less effort to establish a poor track record.

maybe they are all **edit**ting their pants because they have nothing ready for the January publish...i mean isnt it that time of the month?

they have used up all the mount/vehicle/city excuses and now actually have to get to work. but if they cant fix something as simple as making necklaces display or having the right furniture schematic load, how can they tackle big issues.

maybe they arent communicating because they have nothing to communicate?

has anything new been add to the creepy TC?

if not does that mean we will be getting an untested patch next week or no patch at all?

Yeah, I just noticed this too.
I was starting to think that maybe they had all jumped ship and only Pex was left. I was fighting the urge to ask him to do something about the auto-storing vehicles.
It does look bad when everybody is screaming 'where are the Devs?' and the part of the forum that lets us know they are still around isn't working.
Maybe a Dev should have posted here telling us it wasn't working.

FIX LOOT CAMPING NOW!!!!!!

It's out of control already. I just logged off from Wanderhome on Rori and every single dungeon is camped by at least one player and in some cases 3.I know you added skill tapes to the dungeon loot based on the demands of the players for them but once again you added it in a completley moronic fashion. You can't go to a dungeon as a source of XP anymore because some jackhole has been in there all night camping theloot. As I was leaving one these dungeons after telling the camper how lame he was, which he never heared because he was afk, another jerk comes strolling in and asks me if I'm interested in buying any certain skill tapes. I ask how many he had and he said about 100 at 10k a peice. That makes me sick and needs to addressedNOW make them random drops from NPC's only or something but haveing 5 or 6 in one debris pile or mag container is just stupid and ruins yet another aspect of the game.

Was putting factory crates into a pack in my house when I hit the limit of items I can store. The next time I opened the pack about 2 mins later some of the crates started to disappear. I opened the same pack 10 mins later and all crates were gone yet the house was still full. Logged off and restart computer. Everything came back but slowly disappeared again.

Once in a while after redeeding homes, the person who redeeded the home would disappear from view.

Player city boundary shifted so my house moved out of town. Had to go to the trouble of moving my house back into town.

After killing Boris in the Warren, themy groupwas warped outside. I'm guessing the Warren was reset cause we completed it. Problem was out of the 5 in the group, one person was left behind while 4 of us warped out. Since the Warren had reset, the person behind couldn't go work his way back out cause he couldn't enter certain rooms. He was left with two options. He could wait for Boris to respawn and then let Boris kill him or he tried to get a hold of a CSR who could help. Fortunately he got a hold of a CSR that pulled him out but this needs to be fixed.

On Ackbar's first mission I went to the waypoint but nothing was there. After talking to Ackbar again I got another waypt and it was ok.

Most of the stormtroopers on the Rebel Theme Park missions don't attack unless shot at or you have a TEF. Is this how it should be? On countless numbers of those missions I'd go out to try to bring in someone surrounded by stormtroopers and the stormtroopers would stand there and do nothing.

When are we going to get droid dekas?

Hmm new bug happened to me today..

I apparently filled my datapad to 99% by taming a critter. The moment I did this my spatial got spammed with "too many commands queued" endlessly. Closing the datapad window makes it stop, and opening it makes it start again. You can't delete any items in the data pad becuase any command you try is aborted due to it being "too many"

While we are on that, is there a way we can make Regular Planet NPC Cities Waypoints, NOT take a datapad spot? If you only even have a few cities per planet, a good chunk of your datapad room is taken up. It can be worked around by deleteing and recreating your WP to Theed or wherever every time but.. that gets a bit old.

I don't know if anyone has suggested this, but its worth a try.

There must be a known list of issues, some may take longer to fix than others, some could be an easy fix if someone just sat down and did it. Why not assign these issues three points (1,2 or 3) where 3 may take a bit of time to fix... 1 might be a easy fix if someone just sat down and worked on it for a day or two.

Let us vote on what needs to be fixed with the promise that these issues will be fixed within 30 days. Three categories of voting(1,2, or 3) one vote per account per category. We could limit it to the most voted for 3 point issue, the top 3 voted for 2 point issues and the top 5 voted for 1 point issues will be fixed in those 30 days.

Voting should take place in the course of a week; the next to last week of a given month - That gives the devs a week to add these issues to the next month plannings and to give them THE TOP PRIORITY over everything else since they came from us.

They have to be fixed eventually, you'd just be given the players a bit of say in what would make the game more player friendly and that little bit of power you give us will go miles in the customer relationship area; if you keep the promise to actually fix them.

The easiest way to determine the point system for the issues is to give each dev the list, let them pick what level the problem is and the average score is the level; Say an issue is voted on by 10 people, 5 give it a 2; 5 give it a 3 - thats an average of 2.5; which should be rounded up to a 3 to be on the safe side.

just a shot in the dark, but it could work.

Come one devs, and NRaas, look whats happening to Ranger. We are the "harvesters" of the game. When I have people ask for services of me, it is only to ask if I can harvest a ton of some kind of organic resource. Yes, I setup an organization that is all about that, but that's because that's the best thing Ranger is good for right now. I almost never get asked to track, and I'm never asked for use of ANY of my other skills. Most people have novice scout, so they don't need my camps, and now with vehicle/mount/pet changes they wont even need it themselves. I don't really have a problem with that, but I think you need to make some changes to Ranger, AND FAST. I say this because to many game changes are going on right now that make ranger more and more useless, which means less and less fun. You hear that devs, less fun. I know we have gotten some changes additions early on, and we were now basically on the bottom of the list for development. But there are to many game/profession(not ranger) changes, that are effecting our profession, dramatically. So how about we get pushed back up to the top of the list and get some major changes to ranger to keep it alive. Otherwise I fear many of us rangers that are in it because we love it and enjoy, just may leave it. If that part of the player base leaves ranger, you will only have Holo gamers in ranger.

Think about the consequences of your actions. I'm not saying stop all these other changes, I'm just saying think about how those changes, effect some proffesions, and don't wait 6 months to overhaul those professions.

Hello,

I am an interior decorator in Eclipse and I have several things to pick on SWG about. First the game needs tomake domestic things and non-combatant people as important as wilderness and fighting people. As the new Player Cities develope people with non-combat skills are wanting their homes to reflect their standings in the community. Thus they want their houses to be furnished with the best furnishings and decorated lavishly. However, SWG don't give enough item space in the Medium and Large houses to do that. I prepose an increse of 75-100 more item space. We need new house designs and inside color schemes. The styles we have now were not well designed. Too much hallway and not enough living space. The inside of every home is the same color. We need access to paintings, more sculptures and art work and expecially folige. How about wall sconces for short torches. More furnishing choices too would help. All this is important to non-combatant town players. But one of the "most Important" things of all is to allow vertical movement andhorozonal rotation of items on the radial so virtical things can become horosonal, and things can be raised or lowered without dropping them on stairs of which small house have none. This would allow things like swords, fishand other trophy items to be hung in good taste on walls.
