Aye Smee, I have to agree with you on saber damage. We have seen sabers used for everything form melting balst doors to slicing potatoes lol. Id like to see the dmg made non resistable except for BH armor and other Jedi robes. All others should take full dmg to it. Since we are going to be full overt and we are supposed to be the most powerful class in the game..Id like to actually see us with some advantages. So far everything seems class normal. Maybe I expect too much.
One thing I think that some people are going to be a tad upset with is that some who are holo grinding may not be "combat ready" for any kind of trial. This means they have to go and build the character back up, just so they can do the trials. No I know we dont have a clear picture on what exactly the trials will hold as missions or tasks, but I can bet it wont be limited to ..
"Hello <name>. One of our Jedis hasstubbed hitoeand needs to be escorted to the Jedi temple. Please take these bandages and heat cream to him and carry him back to the temple"
So get ready to remaster a profession all over again. Maybe it wont be so bad if you remember the faster ways to get xp.
Question to devs or anyone else that has accurate info for an answer:
As far as PvPbeing the only means for getting xp to advance in the Jedi Master tree. I am curious as to the xp loss that will be assumed for the loser. In any PvP situation, there has to be a looser and it seems that I recall a rumor about loosing an entire cell for dying in place of perma-death. If there is a DB due to a PvP ranking duel, is the same penalty in play or will there be a lesser impact for the death / incapp? If you are forcing players into a PvP role and the only means of xp is to duel, then you really have to choice but to PvP. For someone like my self who stinks at PvP right now, I expect to pulling my sabre out of my butt several times before I start to get good. At 1.6 million xp for the top cells, I really dont feel lilke busting my hump to fill the cell and then go to a PvP fight and lose it. Is there any information on this?
Thanks
Jedi Kehi
Yes it is a Quest system to get a Padawan after Publish 10 goes live, but not until.
You can earn up to 24 Force sensitive slots, from what I've read, and then qualify for Padawan trials.
Keep in mind that earning 24 Force sensitive slots will take longer than mastering 32 professions.
well ive been playing the game or a since launch and if that is the case then i might aswell cancel my account now, i mean does the devs know how to do anyhthing right. if u r correct then this system is going to be like a profession grind just that it will be with doing quest instead of mastering the professions. and if thats the case then i prefer the old system. because i could get it in 11 professions while this new system well take a fissure 32 profession time
