I like both Ideas, but was wondering about the whole quest idea? Is this going to be like the standard quest in game where you do some set things for an NPC an presto you're force sensative or is going to be more like the theme parks. Could the choice of the light or dark side of the force be incorporated into the quest with multiple choices to determine your fate. Thank you.

Can anyone tell me where they said that an NPC would have to approach us?
I haven't heard anything about that yet.

I like this idea. It can be known by the fact that the village location can be found(and probably shared), but yet unknown cause you could require each character to have permission to enter the village. It's just hard to see the way to get that permission.

Sounds like it could be fun... I just don't want to be reverting back to the old system, i.e. Master so many professions and THEN get visited by an NPC or what not.... that would almost completley defeat the purpose of the revamp... Instead i think there should be a certain NPC (randomly spawned kind of like the hermits quests) that you do a quest for.... After this in some remote area when there are no other players around perhaps some weird lookin NPC (i dunno, make it look mysteriouse, black cloak with a hood) can come and give you a wp to the village etc.... mostly i just dont want to be grinding professions frantically trying to get a god #!%##$ NPC to finally make his way over to me
that would kinda suck.....

I must ask this since most people already have backpacks and they would be full or almost full. How will jedi wear the jedi robes if they're wearing backpacks? Because it is said that jedi cannot wear backpacks with the robe on. Will a new device be made, such as a compression belt or watch(something that can shrink things to the size to hold the amount of stuff the backpacks can)? Or will players have to start deleting stuff from their inventory or place houses and stuff?

This sounds pretty cool.
Looks like maybe the introduction of some substance to the very sterile and boring grinding system previously being used.

This sounds good to me. Everyone just needs to calm down and be patient.

Sounds great!! But how long do we have to wait until P10 goes live?
I want to become jedi this year ,not 2006.

does anyone care about the storyline? Jedi are supposed to be rare. What about the combat balance? Is this the tactic to keeps playing, just pursuit of jedi? If all the main focus of this game is going to be jedi based from now on, let me know so i can cancel please.

ok love both ideas not so sure about an npc coming up to u and contacting u most likely be easier to be sent an ingame mail however i have an idea on stopping the campin situation for the village
1. the village is split off into different ares and u are only allowed access to the area in which the npc that contacted u resides.
2. u r given a time slot in which u can enter this section of the village and speak with urnpc
nebody like the idea ?
