Thread: Feedback: Jedi Bugs and Issues
I only have 2 issues that i think need to be addressed.
1) Xp is still so low i.e 150 to 200 xp for a red mob. this is so low that for you to get any where will take days to get one skill.
2) The Jedi Enclave needs to be opened, so we can learn other jedi professions.
other then those things so far i like what i see.
Uh.
This is with a no-damage-crystal 2h 3rd gen lightsaber.
Granted, it will improve (some) with damage crystals. But come on, I was killing roaming huurton howlers, and killing -4- howlers netted me 1080 jedi xp. 4 of it was from the actual kills (1 per howler), the rest from spamming specials and self-healing. Which I had to do, with force armor 2 on.
So ok, I have melee defense tree, lightsaber 4 in a style, lightsaber technique 4, some healing and enhance, and it takes me 80% of my force bar to kill four apparent 'greens' (they don't con that way, but 1 jedi xp and 1 combat xp per kill means the game thinks it's trivial).
I'd say the lightsaber damage system is still very broken, with (at a minimum) the 'behind the scenes' code for damage increase to compensate for balanced weapons stats not working.
As well, still no robe, so no increased damage mitigation. I suspect, but am having a hard time testing, that the various stackable defenses (lightsaber toughness, jedi toughness, etc) aren't actually stacking, or else they're not quite up to snuff either (soloing four huurton howlers with my novice swordsman using spin attacks, while buffed, I don't get hurt hardly at all without armor. Granted I'm an unbuffed jedi, but we're talking a 0/250 skillpoint left jedi, not a raw initiate, and I'm still having it not-significantly-better than a 'normal' profession.
Good things:
Force run 1 now actually increases movement/terrain negotiation
Everything but the gas spawned for me, and I got some gas from someone handing it out.
Still can't experiment on lightsaber with a lightsaber crafting kit... and can't find a general/weapon kit to do it with.
Tells are up again, commodities system is partially up (I see the main listings, and can purchase, but when I try to get details it hangs).
Overall, I'd say that the novice jedi is utterly doomed as it stands, but a fully advanced jedi has a chance of competing. SO far. With limited exposure to jedi vs. jedi pvp (Note: I did experience stacked weakens. This has got to go, as does inability to heal fire).
Jedi Bug:
Meditate inside of a cantina.... now, I can not exit the cantina. It's like a glass wall preventing me exiting it.
I'm sorry if this has been posted already but here it goes...
I created toon on TC on the Thursday before the Friday cutoff and my toon got copied to TC2but it is just a replica of my TC one. I have not seen any skill choice options and I was spawned in Wayfar, where my TC toon left off.It wasmy understanding that a toon created before the cutoff was going to be an initiate. Please correct me if I am wrong. I was all excited that there was a rollback to see if it fixed my TC2 toon, but to no avail...still the clone of TC.
I really wanted to try out the new jedi system because my live toon is close to unlocking and I it thought it would be a good learning experience for me.
If anyone could clarify what i may have not done correctly or if somebody has got the same problem and has fixed it..Please let me know.
Thank you in advance ![]()

1. Tusken Headware is considered armor.
2. Tuskens srop color crystals when I was under the impression that they dropped damage crystals
3. Crystals can be re-tuned by another person. I have two jedi characters so to see if this could happen i traded a tuned crystal to the other. I soon noticed that I got the tune crystal tab on my other jedi.
