Before I say anything else, I first want to thank the Dev team for spending some time to fix this quest. I received Intellect and Altruism last September (back when badges meant something and you actually had to WALK everywhere!!! lol ), and I've really been looking forward to finishing this.

I had a great experience with all of the parts of the quest. Even though I had two of the badges already, I went ahead and completed all of the steps again. The entire process took me a total of 8 hours, which is much better than the FOUR WEEKS it took me to get Intellect and Altruism last year! Everything worked as advertised for me, and I now have the Hero of Tatooine ring, which was a great piece of loot.

Having said that, there are two things that I thought could've been better:

1.) Last year, when you received the Intellect and Altruism badges, a very nice piece of music played in the background. It was the end theme from RotJ Special Edition. It was great to sit there and listen to that clip play and revel in your accomplishment. To just hear the generic badge music play this time was a bit disappointing.

2.) After rescuing the farmer's family, I stood at the edge of the cave entrance and waited to receive my badge. It took nearly 20 minutes for the wife to finally tell me "thank you" and give me the badge. At one point she actually said "Can I help you?", and I thought the mission was broken. I have also heard that leaving the cave will break the mission. The ending of this part of the Hermit Quest should be more clear: i.e., you receive the badge and "thank you" as you enter the last section of the cave before reaching the cave entrance.

These are just minor nitpicking issues, though. Overall it was a lot of fun and very, very cool to finally finish this quest. I can only hope that more deep, involved storylines such as these are put into the game in the near future.

1. Mark of Altruism - Farmer has been found by individualsnear Bestine and the Hutts cave walking around.

Which would prolly be the reason why some cant find him were the guides have sent them to look.

You might want to putan invisible leash on this guy. He likes to walk about.

2.Marks of Intellect - BH's havent been spawning. Some indiviuals have spawn camped several locations

for a 13hourspreeand nothing.

3. Honour - Still looking for the NPCs. Circled the ranch from 300m to 400, to 500...untill 1500

5 times yesterday.

4. Courage - Got it

I Like the new design of these quests but if they dont spawn its kinda hard to get the quest badges, its one thign if these quests were HARD but when they dont spawn you cant get the badge, Hence bugged.

The farmer spawn is the hardest to find. Once the guy spawn, he will keep walking untill someone talks to him. What is happening is that most people speeding around the general area and miss him popping up 50m behide them. Because they missed him, he will keep walking. There have been reports that this guy has showed up anywhere fromthe hutt caveto bestine. Is there any way to make this guy spawn and stay put?

Also, If you have talk to the farmer and go to the cave, people can steal your explosivesand bug/steal your quest. If someone opens the rock to place the explosives in before you do, you cant open it any more. Only the person that opened it first has permission."

Absolutely 100% agree. The farmer isno where to be found. Its time consuming to find him. No one should have to spend an entire evening looking. To hint - look in the hot desert to find him . The whole planet is a desert. Come on help us out just a little bit.

And I'm sorry.....I have to add that YES... I do beleive you should have to spend several evenings searching for the spawns. Several weeks... This is supposed to be dificult....

In my opinion being hard doesn't need to equal being lucky. Walking around for hours isn't hard. It's taking the easy way out. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of the the hero's quest. I love the content. I just wish that instead of having to run around looking for a spawn that the length would have been extended (made harder??) with content not spawning. That would have really been exciting.

Difficult, yes...

(I, too spent 6+ WEEKS last summer/fall earning Intellect and Altruism on my main)

Seeing the BH Camp from afar and hoping you got to complete before someone came along and borked it...Good times

But a cycling, static spawn that DOESN'T spawn is not the way to slow down accomplishment... Please look into the BH spawnrate, or determine how to keep someone from bugging it that has yet to talk to the hermit...

Well, if this is the old hermit quest, I've tried talking with a few hermits onTatooineand they give crafting missions. These aren't the "hero" qests I was expecting. Maybe if you could give us some hints on where and how to find these quests, I could give you better comments on them unless you are intentionally hiding the quests to make them rare.

DOing a litle querrying to mates, and it seems the quest is ok on some servrs, but FARSTAR it is messed up

One person i know has two pc, whille working on one, he had the other running ht game and was in the area where the farmer spawns, for 15hours he was in the area, and looked every hour as well.

Found nothing

I have spent countless hours for eveyone of the misisons and found nothing

i was looking today for an hour for the farmer, 17 people were in the are as well, looking with no luck.

One guy stood at one spawn point for 4 hours, with no joy.

Since after the first day and the server restart for the paintings i know of no one that has found a spawn point.

Its one thing making it hard, its fun, but another to make it impossible, frustrating, and dam silly waiting hours at a time for a spwan just to start it.

Either increase spawn times, or keep them there.

Its something interesting to do, a rare thing, so many people want to do it. Its no good not having spawns occur or having the set once a day.

Sort it out please

I've already decided that I will not spend even an hour running around looking for something, or waiting my turn. So the only way I finish this will be if I run across one of these by luck some day.

I presume you anticipated there would be people like me, and you know better than I the cost/benefit ratio for my group with regard to this content. Just wanted to add my count to your tally.

Sounds like it will be cool if I ever end up seeing the rest, though.

Finally got a meaningful CSR response...

"Spawn is working properly, but was accelareted for testing purposes"

Perhpas that means on Tuesday that they had forgotten to DE-ccelerate the spawns? It could explainwhy we are not seeing the same frequency that we were...or why we have not had a SINGLE confirmed sighting on Ahazi since?

I should clarify that I didn't mean to imply I wouldn't spend an hour on the quest. just won't spend an hour in each stage doing nothing but searching/waiting.

I make this quest now for more than a day (alltogether in play time) and I like it very much. The only thing I don't like about it, is that the spawns are very predictable where they are. They should spawn all over Tatooine, than the problem of "camping" would be not so high. The best quest was the one with the ranger's wife, I think it was the Mark of Honor. There should be much more content like this and not all time the "go to A, kill b and get c" style

they must have had accelerated spawn rates on Tuesday when they released it...

For altruism I found 3..yes 3 farmers walking about...and for honor, I found, and unfortunately had to kill, 2 pirate leaders (some poor guy was there moments later..but as they red conned to me...owell)

and the courage spawn took very little time too....I think i did all 5 badges in 3-4 hours??..but that was Tuesday release day
