Some mobs that spawn at the POIs might have been nice in a patch. I guess if there was stuff to fight, we'd all have a harder time becoming Jedi and turning SWG into Knights of the Old Republic

BROKEN:
/moveFurniture Up
and
/moveFurniture Down
I had these macroed and hot keyed to move stuff around my hospital, all the move furniture commands are working fine with the exception of moving items up or down. Can we get this fixed?

"hehe customization for vehicles? Whats the point? Most people go thru vehicles one or two a day. How about decreasing the decay rate so that people can enjoy some time for their customizations?"
How the hell do you go thru1 or2 vehicles a day? I been playing for over 1 year and still have and use my original vehicle. What do you do? Do you know that you should repair the vehicle, that might be a good suggestion for you.

-patch 10 came, text shadowing was removed (god knows why), but it wasnt listed in patch notes. yet, it was a huge thing that affects everyone. 10.2 comes out and they "fix" it, still not mentioned in patch notes....lol.
thing that blows my mind is that they even messed with it. it was perfect before pub 10. so many broken buggy things in this game and they waste time messing with something that actually worked and no one complained about....go figure.
im glad its back, finally. however, you went overboard. just put it back the way it was, or add a new tab in the options menu for text shadowing and put check boxes for each text element and let us customize what has text shadowing. that would have been the more intelligent thing to do. then everyone is happy and you add yet another level of customization to the ui.
-ya droid and vehicle customization....waste of development time. vehicles are destroyed on a daily basis anyways (agro mobs & pvp), infact i started buying swoops by the crate because of this annoyance. i dont have a single friend or guild mate that buys customization kits. custom kits would make way moresense if they were permanent or like composite armor. artisans could just charge more for them. they make plenty of money from vehicles themselves, since any higher end player is losing them on a daily basis anyways, lmao any elite combat class can take one out in 1 hit anyways....droids? well droids are droids in swg i guess....no one cares.
what would have been a more productive use of development time on vehicles is adding stats on the examine screen when purchasing them. currently you dont get to see any stats. i could really care less about its resists either. id like to know the durability % when buying them. currently you get some swindler that makes a fancy name like "elite uber speeder" or something, then you buy it and realize it has 5% durability lol.
-weapons and armor in combat queue, thats a nice change actually. might aswell add food into that too, so we dont have to second guess if the game recognized the command or not while in combat.
-still need a sub filter for the factory crate section on bazaars. (ie: pharmaceutical, food, powerup etc).

I feel bad for Tiggs. After the week or so of happy Welcome Tiggs threads, this thread is a real indication of the kind of job she just signed on for.
As for the publish, I must say that I agree with almost all the posters here.
Many of these fixes are completely trivial, and in some cases issues were over fixed. I am failing to see how 90% of the communities issues and comments go ignored, and how some of these publish 'features' are coming out of nowhere.
If schedules are slipping and plans change, please update the community when it happens. Getting blind sided like this is far worse.
Where did the 19 answers go, or fixing the top issue under each profession? Those ideas have gone the way of the dodo. The fact is that many of those issues have nothing to do with the combat revamp and do not need to be held off.And after many succesful publishes and communication enhancement, everything is now starting to slip back to where it was a year ago.
Here are what should have been the patch notes:
POI Spawns:
Fixed POI spawns so that they again re-spawn every 1:06 rather than only one time per day. This will again allow armorsmiths to make RIS armor, reduce new jedi in the village by making the warren marginally more difficult, and generally allow more content in the game.
Smuggler crates:
Fixed issue so that smugglers may again use slicing tools even when they are in crates. This allows a smuggler to actually play their profession rather than be inventory manager and time-waster.
Jedi:
Reduce time delay on jedi healing and force powers, to actually make Jedi a balanced profession for those who are not Master LS, Master Enhancer.
Armorsmith:
Factional armor is now crafted by armorsmiths. All we did was use the composite armor crafting process, and added an option on final assembly to allow the graphics to be stormtrooper or marine armor. This allows the game to look and feel like star wars, with absolutely minimal work on our part (ok thats an educated assumption).
Race tracks:
Sorry we are not adding race tracks, because we do not want to devote developer time to these until much more pressing issues have been fixed.
Creature Handler:
We have un-nerfed CH abilities so that once again, the game's most popular profession can be viable again.
Ranger:
We actually made camps that are functional, and camo that works. In fact we actually devoted some time to your profession. (Ha Ha just kidding)
Ok so maybe that was a bit harsh, but I don't see why these few items are not able to be fixed in the next month BEFORE JTL. I think most people would agree that a lot of people would enjoy their game more just from items on this short list.
Now I don't plan on cancelling my account right now or anything, but that is what makes me even more frustrated. I am actually a highly dedicated customer, so it pains me to see the lack of communicaiton and proper fixes. The only new item (not bug fix) that I see which is good is the weapon switch being added to the combat queue. It just hurts to think that a developer spent any amount of time on vehicle customization right now though. While a cool little feature, it quite simply is just not important in the grand scheme of things.-

The change to the font used for chat and object to introduce a shadow is causing problems for myself with inducing vision problems which are resulting in migraines. Please either turn it off or provide an option to turn off the shadows. The previous font up until this patch was much more eye friendly.
I noticed that the Destroyer and Windu_Purple interface skins almost eliminate these drop-shadows.

Of all the things Tiggs passes on from this thread, I hope this gets the most emphasis.

heres how vehicles get destroyed:
scenario 1: youre fighting a lair of mobs, if youre smart youll have all of em surrounding you up 10 lets say. and youll be using area attacks. as they wear down in hit points they wander off...guess what they attack when they wander off and youre busy fighting their friends still? you guessed it, your speeder (that dies in 1 hit).
scenario 2: youre overt or have tef. youre buffed another player is buffed. it takes forever to kill someone in pvp so they turn around and take your bike out in one hit.
ya, you could always store the bike first. but....waiting 30 seconds after combat when youre power grinding is just annoying. plus you dont always have that option, if youre engaged in combat (whether you choose it or not), you can no longer store the bike until combat is over. at which point the bike is already done...again it only takes 1-2 hits. just drive away you say? easier said then done whn youre aggressor/opponent does a kd or posture change. it knocks you off your bike, they run up kill your bike and there you have it.
therefore any higher end player thats grinding or pvp'ing could really care less about a paint job that lasts a few days.

In line behind the smuggler's love. It starts way back over there.....
They aren't fixing anything major between now and next year. We are in the pay to develop an expansion phase. The people we are currently paying with our subscription fees are busy working on something that we must pay for yet again. So in the meantime lets toy with the fonts and the meaningless stuff that has no bearing on the majority of the game.

You do know about vehicle garages, right?

Let me clear things up. Im talking about thepeople that actually use their vehicles and go around dangerous places to have it destroyed in one hit are the people im referring to like myself. Not the "I play one hour a day" people that only log in to check their harvestors and see how much money they stole from people selling their resources for 100 c per unit. Im talking about the people that go non stop battleling and traveling with their bikes to places where there are no garages like Endor.
