basically it wa sfixed and now itisn't. you can avoid the warping if you're doing an emote while dismounting.

Issue: Battle droid (not SBD) Game vs Films balance


Server: All


Planet: Corvette & Endor


Location (x,y):Corvette & Bunker


Your profession: Disapointed Film Fanatic


Instructions on how to recreate the bug: Try to fight a normal Battledroid (not the SBD), in the movies a gungan with a stick can kill them, in the game they can kill a group of casual players while taking a oil bath.


Suggestion: Replace the Battledroid with Droidekas with shields, put Battledroids with the Tradefederation spawns on Naboo as low level droids (lvl 5 - 10)

Hi, here is my longest-running issue:



Issue: I don't get a loading bar on the loading screen. Once it goes from "Now connecting to the Server" to "Loading...", the little blip thing goes away in the bar, but the bar never fills after that - it stays totally empty. Most of the time, the game loads, though it does take some time depending on how long I have been playing, or if I'm loading into a heavily populated area. On the other hand, occasionally, the loading screen drops me back to the character selection screen. From there, I can either try to load again, which has about the same success rate as the first attempt, or completely restart the game and then try to load again, which usually yields a slightly higher success rate (of course, in Theed or Coronet, all bets are off...I may not be able to load at all). My computer does meet minimum requirements for the game (it actually exceeds most of them, the only one I only meet is RAM, of which I have exactly 256 MB). In addition, this issue has occurred on two different computers for me - the computer I beta tested on, and now this one, the newer one. I did a completely new install when I got this computer in February, so I wouldn't have expected this to continue (although at the time, I didn't know this was an issue, as I hadn't yet seen SWG on a friend's machine).

Instructions on how to recreate the bug: Just try to use a shuttle. Seems to do it for me.


At any rate, I've already e-mailed technical support about this issue, and they asked for my DirectX info, but it's been over a week since I sent it to them and I haven't heard anything back from them. I thought posting my issue here might get me some help. Oh, in addition, and I know this one isn't me, but I'm curious as to why our characters randomly move while we're sitting or meditating. This has been a bug since I was in beta, and I've always been curious as to why it hasn't ever been fixed. I know it's not serious or anything, I was just curious. Thanks.

Issue: NPC Fighting Bugged beyond believe... not using weapons, not using force powers.. Hence too many lootitems circulating bringing inflation.

Server: FarStar

Planet: All (most noticeably Dantooine Force Sensitives and Dathomir Nightsisters)

Location: Anywhere with NPCs

Your Profession: MCH / MSL / NRF


Bug Recreation: Find Highlevel NPC... fight them... they only do unarmed. Easy kill and far too easy to tank em to death with the nice armors u put into the game.

Issue: Master Bounty Hunter isseriously underpowered given the enormously high skill point cost required to achieve it.

How to recreate it: Grind Master Scout for no justifiable reason beyond the terrain negotiation bonus. Chase bounty marks across the galaxy for days on end just to find out that they've spawned inside a building *IF* they even spawn at all. Spend so many skill points on a profession that has insanely weak defenses that you don't have enough points left over to take any kind of other elite skills that might possibly help offset this deficit. Fire your "lightning cone" shots into a pack of durnis and see if it kills any of the ones that the combat window says took 2000+ points of damage.


How to fix it: Remove scout from the requirements and make it master brawler instead. Mirror the scout's terrain negotiation skill bonus up the investigation tree. Give Master Bounty Hunter enough medic skill to use stim B's. Oh, and since you can't figure out why bounty marks don't spawn, at least give us a way (while standing at the empty waypoint) to 'force' the game to respawn the mark nearby. Or maybe just go play some sort of TKA/Commando/Doctor template that can be effective in combat.


Seriously, any single profession that only leaves you 33 points to dabble should be considerably more powerful than this. You've got to give up 15 of those points just to be able to heal yourself.

Issue: Houses no longer provide privacy for spatial. Same for radar. Sometimes I can sit in my house as someone in the house next to me logs on and they will appear on the radar and I'll be able to hear them. Sometimes I'll only hear half conversations, i.e. only one ofseveral peoplepeople will be heard from inside houses. Sometimes they can hear me, but I won't hear them. SOmetimes it's the other way around. Seems to be random form each log on. All my friends report the same problem.

Instructionson how to recreate the bug: As I said, it seems random. The following has happened several times: I'm in my house and I see my two neighbours on the radar, walking towards their house located within spatial range for me. As they enter the house only one of them is removed from radar/spatial. I'll be able to hear everything the other one says, emotes, thinks, etc, but nothing from the one that went "poof" as they both should've...

Issue: general client stability

Im using a very old 2nd pc to play from time to time, and as it is below minimum specs, it is very prone to any stability issues.

Basically client crasheshappen 1,5-2 times more often since the ID patch then before. DW patch didnt make it better nor worse.

Issue: Turret Controller Exploting , firing up to 20 5k hits per second , killing groups of 20 people in 10 secs

Consequences : PvP was unbalance due to CMs , but still we could be doctor or have 1 near, but now GCW is totaly broken and we cant even engage in funny PvP battles next to a HQ. 2 Large block turrets can kill easyly 60 - 90% armor & buffed - people in less than 1 minute. This is not funny at all. Plz fix this ASAP the only fun we had left is gone.

Instructionson how to recreate the bug:


Enter the bunker.


Try not to fall asleep while auto-attacking SBD for hours and doing 5 damage per hit with your ACID pistol.

PS: About getting stuck on Ewok Trees .. I concur .. not in the tree village, but there is a single Tree house near a jetty on a lakeshore ... got stuck in upper level for 2 days ( and of course tried /unstick , /eject , /bug, customer ticket etc. numerous times ... no one cared ... login/logout about a half dozen times did the trick).


PPS : Turret Bug ... I concur .... 100 k total damage per second is not fun.

These are the worst idea ever, it should not take me 45 mins to kill one of these to advance through a dungeon where 15 more spawn on me in that time, they are ludicrously unbalanced and block content from anyone who doesnt have 90% armor and an uber stacking template. this is no way to make content more difficult, make puzzles, mazes, anything other than filling the dungeon with the most unimaginative/lame stupidly difficult things ever. just plain terrible, tougher mobs can generally be avoided (dont like NS edlers, dont go near them) but these things (and tons of them) are crammed into the 2 latest big content patches, making them not only undesirable to visit because it only results in decay, but also sets these 2 dungeons at a difficulty most players cannot overcome unless they are powergamers in a powergamer guild, which is the complete opposite of what SOE had told us this game was going to be all about. ITS NOT FUN TO SIT IN FRONT OF 1 SDB FOR 30 MINS KILLING IT!

Issue: Janta/Mokk missions being completed and not paying out. This happens about 10-20% of the time. I kill all of the MOBS and destroy the lair. Combat ends and the lair blows up, but the waypoint does not disappear nor do I get paid. I drive 1000M away and come back to see if it resets the lair but no luck.

I reported the ewok tree village bug over 6 months ago (but I think it was for the other tree village). Just proves bug reports mean nothing, or that the devs like this game to be forever beta. Anyways...




Issue: Group bugs have not been fixed (and I don't see any in TC) since the patch to improve groups (though I haven't been in a solo group for a while due to missions not paying!)

Your profession: Varies do to holo grinding and multiple characters


Instructions on how to recreate the bug:


-Join a solo group, go out of range of someone, now you have no idea who someone is...
-Out of range bug still exists where that member cannot be removed.
-Out of range people have no distance/arrow, but people are NOT supposed to be out of range anymore.
-Would be nice to turn OFF the nearest mission for the group wp when people aren't doing missions or are in a solo group.


Suggestion: FIX EXISTING AND REPORTED BUGS!!!
