So SE will not be coming out this year? I can guarantee that when you say beta will be later this year you do not mean before October and there is no way you will have theexpansion finished before 2005, most likely summer 2005. How sad for us devoted players, you can't fix the current game and you can't get the expansion done in a timely matter.

Listing Tachyon on your resume for a space sim is hardly going to impress me. I played Tachyon and had to give it up because of a game breaking bug that would cause my fighter to be unable to move except by afterburner. I could not accelerate or decelerate and basically hung there in space helpless.

This bodes not well to me.

Add me to that Space Expansion List I'm a devoted player and would love to help out if possible.

I don't play on test center because I'm trying to get my jedi before the quest system is in place (working on 27 now)

I agree that its nuts to allowpeople that can afford to go the fanfests to beta test SE. Im east coast. Or the people who live in those cities that the fanfest is located. Bah Malarkey!

The space expansion should be loaded up on the internal server the devs use to test as the force sensitive slot/Jedi was.Release the software to sell andTHEN allow people to test it on Test center.Letting people in before hand, well its not right SOE.Holy smokes! You should never offer favoritism andshould be neutral to all.

I have one problem with the Letter. Why should people who attend the Fan Fest get preferential treatment? There area lot of loyal players who do not go to Fan Fests at all. I think it should be based on people from the SWG beta and people who have been playing this game for a long time and who have logged a lot of hours on this game. Any one can attend Fan Fest, not everyone dumps a lot of time into this game. Well, maybe some people do and do not play a lot.

I love SWG and will continue to play. I think it has come a long way. The SE will add a lot to the game. Good luck guys with the development of this.

Seems what little comments I had given on this post have been deleted!

Did I offend someone regarding comments about players from Testcenter?

Should I have received a warning about the post so that I don't do or say something that fringes on the freedom of speach act ?

Did I break a forum rule?

Least you could inform the person if you are removing a post and the reasons for it before doing so. I don't have many rights, but when you take away freedom of speach, you may as well close these forums!

Let's see:

About.. 2000+ euros to fly over there and back, a few hundred for accomodations, ticket in and stuff. Plus of course the extra you'll eventually spend over there.

Coming to a grand total of about.. 3-4k so I could have a shot at getting into a beta.

I think I'll pass.
