Hey Rogue 5, when you mentioned LOS fix. Does this include hills and other world objects? I think that would add some additional strategy and fun to ground combat!

I had noticed that hills etc do seem to be causing line of sight rules to kick in (at least when I was trying to target mobs). Not sure how it would work in PVP but I would guess much the same.

Just to update, this was a problem with my friends list. I backtracked the events that took place before he crah, adding someone to the list was one of teh last things. So i checked my friend list with PFE, it was blank after having over 300 names in it (everyone in our guild and their alts). Copying the list of one of my other characters, renaming it to the bugged one and replacing it did the trick. Now teh fun task of checking all the names to make sure they are still there....



had canceled because of the CU. Got talked into re subscribing just days before the NGE was started on Test Center (my home).

/cancel again and breaking CD's to be sure.

nice thing about being a online Dj..sony cant cencor what I say about this err..improvement..like they can on these forums.

Impressive fixes!


Something I would LOVE for the bazaar and vendors - "HIDE" the categories that have nothing in them...this would make it much easier and faster when browsing...no need to display the categories if they're empty =)


Maybe changing the factory crates from item type "Factory Crate" to the actual item thats inside of them as well? Almost everything on vendors now are factory crates...hard to find what you want =)


Anyways...wishful thinking...love the changes.!

I am a TKM I love it and never want to drop it but if I want to PvP now i have to be a rifleman

Devs if you read these please help me understand why instead of makeing other professians better so they dont suck you bring down all the other professians so they all suck?


Rifleman, I hate them if a TKM gets on one and lunges it should stick when rifleman get tracked down my TKM when i say TKM I mean Brawler Class- the rifleman should get owned in about 2 seconds.


And you hear so many people complain about carboneer but yet nothing is done. I dont really care about being A jedi if i never unlock then ill retemplate to kil them..


My other question is a TKM/Fencer/Master brawler getting owned buy a jedi initiate with 1100 in the tree GIVE ME A BREAK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I love this game I really do but what you are doing with the space expansion isnt going to fix these things.


With armor and buffs an awsome FWG5 is useless and ive never seen a good stun pistol for pistoleer, stats are always crappy.


Also why can we have armor thats 80 kinetic but stun comp thats is only 40% you give me 80 stun resistence and let a rifleman try me then, and if he switches rifles ill switch armor... make them earn there win and kill.


And why cant we put food items back in crates? And why cant we make more than one Waypoint at a time?


Space expansion is fine but can we get the land stuff fixed antime soon?

can this be implimented for "Withdraw Sale" also? so that when we click "Withdraw Sale" the item automatically goes to our inventory if there's room

OR

if not, please add a "Sell This Item" to the "Stockroom" so we don't have to


  1. withdraw sale

  2. switch to stockroom

  3. retrieve item

  4. /pause 5

  5. switch to 'my sales'

  6. click sell item

For the life of me I can't remember the steps right now, but you *can* sell directly from the stockroom. Heck, I've used the "this planet" button and restocked expired itemsdirectly from the stockroom of a vendor 8km away.


Um, whoops. Re-reading, you're talking about the bazaar, not a personal vendor, aren't you? The mention of "stockroom" instead of "available items" confused me. In that case, I agree with you. Although....couldn't you just "buy" your item? Since you're paying yourself, you wouldn't lose any credits, and it would pop right into your inventory.

and I usually don't get around to restocking them until after they have expired...

Quick question on the LOS fixes. Do the NPC still cheat? Right now NPC's can fight with full abilities even if swimming. PC's and pets can not. Can NPC shoot you even if you can't shoot them due to LOS?

I'm curious why there no longer is a swg discussion board where players can start topics about suggestions. Since you removed it I post here I guess.


How's it going with the true anonymous feature that will give players privacy and be invisible on peoples friends list? I read something from a dev this is being worked on atm. Any ETA?


In my opinion this is one the most important feature for the game, and from what I've read in previous threads on this subject many agree. Even the most basic instant messenger has a privacy button, why not SWG?


Sometimes people just want to log on to the game and do some crafting or training alone without getting 100 /tells and get the feeling of guilt for not replying or doing requests..... Also, its a real RP killer... In a true roleplayer environment you shouldnt be able to tell when a jedi, or your enemy or whoever comes online.


PLEASE; MAKE THIS A PRIORITY DEVS! I know people have quit the game because SWG hasn't got this.

All good changes in my view, Very good
Love the combat thing - "the War gronda is no match for you" lol

Still i dont agree with adding all these things when there are currently so many things that are bugged to hi heaven at the moment.
I think sitting down and fixing all these and getting the game running sweet should be top priority rather than just adding new features (although they are nice)

LoS is still a bit touchy, but there seem to be no major issues.


Thx for the "x" on the buff bar. I was going nuts trying to get rid of that.


Should the directional arrows for groupmates be from my toon, not from my camera position? This is confusing if they are behind me. I can have two group members behind me, and one is closer than the other. One will show as an up arrow, the other as a down arrow. I don't particularly like this. This is an MMORPG and the focus should be about my character, not about my camera. We should be dealing with things in relation to me.


All in all, good set of updates.
