Hello again. I would respectfully like to request any information on the POI problem. Once again, for those of us at work all day and can't log in at server restart, this removes quite a bit of content from the game for us.

New Launch pad crashes system. Can't log on. get errors repeatedly.

Misc.

  • Delivery and crafting mission NPC's will no longer dynamically spawn. There will now be a single NPC who handles all pick up and deliveries in each location.






Thank you!! As a new artisan player, I did the crafting delivery missions as my primary source of income. At least 20-25% of these were bugged: npcs spawning in walls or not spawning. I had a workaround where I would deactivate the waypoint, get another mission, reactivate the waypoint, and maybe 80% of the time this would respawn the npc and I could finish the mission. It was a huge pain! This fix will be a serious boon to new artisans! Thanks so much for finally fixing this!

I think this hotfix has a bug, when i clicked my shortcut to SWG the scanning for updates screen came up and started updating. Then in the middle of the updates it stopped and wouldn't update anymore nor would it go to the to the license screen. I had to use the Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out of it. And i retried it several times more and the same thing happened.

same, when running start up it pops up there is an error and have to hit cnrtl alt delete to bring up task manager and close it out because it locks things up.


Never had this problems before.

This is a launchpad issue and has nothing to do with the hotfix. They pushed a new launchpad out yesterday and a lot of players are having trouble with loading it. Check the tech forums for possible fixes to your launchpad.


The hotfix was for the three items mentioned in Tiggs' original post. Not for the launchpad.

It worked fine yesterday. Today I didn't even know there was a patch but can't get on at all. Yesterday the launch pad worked, I was even JTL beta yesterday, np. but today none of the launchpads worked. I didn't do anything different then play the game, at all. That is all this computer does is play the game. There are no other games on, it is just a SWG machine. lol!

I guess I'm confused. You want feedback about the hotfix but no bugs please. What do you want feedback about? Without trying to report a "bug" this is what is happening:


1. Launchpad locks up repeatedly

2. Cannot mount vehicles or pets

3 Cant' enter the Coronet starport

4. Getting fatal expecption errors (an absolute first)

5. Warping from inside buildings to the exterior


These started happening right after I managed to get the luanchpad to update after 12 trys (yes I counted them)

Phase III didnt come out today on gorath. Has it been pushed back due to the crafting quests just now being fixed...?

Apparently, the Entertainer Quests have gone live. Why is this not in the patch notes? Entertainers have been waiting for these quests for a very long time and now they appear on live with no notice. Were they supposed to go live today or is it a mistake that will get pulled tomorrow? Is the new dance still broken? Is the 400k exp cost still in place?

This is a prime example of the lack of communication that we've had to deal with. I can see when exploits are fixed with no notice in the patch notes, but having a little content for entertainers added with no mention is unacceptable. Not even our Correspondents were aware of it.

Cancelled 7/27/05 - I joined to play Star Wars, not Jedi-BH Wars. You've ignored/gutted/abused just about every other profession in the game, while spending most of your time working on Jedi and BH as they related to Jedi. You've basically killed the game for anyone who doesn't want the glowstick. Congratulations.

Since this hotfix i have problems with my vehicles, when i dismount them i have to try several timesto mount them again, and once i even couldn´t mount it again, so i had to store it and get it out again. Then it worked at first try tho.

I've had something that never happenend before, not sure if it's linked to the patch, but since it's new i'll make end meets.


I was hunting on Lok, shooting some mynocks i took on a mission, and then, a baby began to hit me, nothing abnormal, but when i shot him, pamming him with /lastditch, /fanshot or whatever /specialpistolshot it didn't die. I checked the combat log, and the damage were considered given, i shot this baby ofr something like 30k damage, and stil it was here hitting me (at least trying). The only thing i noticed was that DOTs were applyed correctily (/healthshot2 at least). But no immediate damage with my DX2, nor with the FGW5, or whatever gun i tried.

I finally killed it with a /unarmedhit3 which worked perfectly.


I submitted a /bug, because it was rather starnge and i was wondering what could have happened if it was an ancient bull rancor in front of me.


And then i went on my mission, having the lair pop by shooting it. Killing the mynocks around, except one, another baby (first one was a sulfur lake, second a salt mynock) that did the same thing, didn't bother to try to shoot all over the night, i equipped the VK and killed it normally. The last pop of the lair did the same thing, with an adult this time.


I submitted another ticket, suggesting that maybe the bug could be repeatable, but it didn't happen again for6 hours.



As for what i read on this topic, i have to say i saw lots of entertainers warped outside the cantina in theed too, some of them ending in the ID tents. Some friends also had troubles with vehicles not coming when called. Don't know what you tricked with this patch, but looks like it should have been tested son't you think Tiggs?


Ah, and i still have to pull my AUKs and molecular clamps one by one from my crates to slice but i guess it's no more a bug, it's become a "working as intended" now. Any idea of what will be broken next month for smugglers? the feign death nerf because of jedis using it against Bh, or BH using it against jedis? I could suggest too that we should not be able to buy faction points if we have more than 250 in that faction, so that you completely kill the last income source we have.
