This is by far the best post I have ever read.
Since I would agree that this is a game and that ultimately our subscriptions help pay the bills and the paychecks at SOE, I think all we were really asking for a little information. Information that could have been made available a little quicker than half a day after the fact.
A majority of the players aren't able to log in a server reset and play until shutdown. We carefully plan what little time we have to play by what the content may or may not dictate.
In the future i would think rather than constant speculation, that just a short message to calm the stirring masses would be in the best interest of everyone.

Im just so happy i found this Message.....
Was in the Login Paneel Chat, and as allways the CSRs "cant say something regarding aurilia"
but its really nice that the Devs still up to help us in our concerns...
I was allready really worried about the phase change, as some in chat told me phase wont change cause too many jedis are existing,
but as then many would leave the game, if they never have the possibility that they become jedi i never thought that SOE would make a jedi cap, so i really hope the seconds are 0 soo, (even if Infinity was 6 times down today..) and phase changes soon, thanks for bringing us down

It's pretty sad how my jaw hits the floor whenever a dev type actually addresses the concerns of the players and, for a brief, shining moment, it looks like somebody behind the curtain actually gives a crap.

I play the game now to just chat with my folks cause it is a cool graphical release from some IM chat program. $15 to chat with the folks.... SOE gives very little reason to continue playing SWG except for the grind. They should have been more patient... was us fussing for jedi and the abliged and ever since has been a mushroom stamp for them. Can't do right for doing wrong.... next time ignore the initial requests and fix the game before adding the "god mode" toon that is far from that but should be.... oh and what the hell were you thinking adding holocrons. You would have been better off just "magically" making those closest jedi since you had such a boner to have it in game. Playing since release.... cancelling my fs smuggler (already did so after seeing the game is dead now until the newness of JtL is done)... and wishing that you were on the same page with LA. Why they publish on their "bad lil 80's song reference" is besides me TH. You guys are not on the same team huh? Or did they decide to finally say you guys are so fuc*ed that we need to get this out and start recruiting another publisher? Yeah the latter seems about right. I try and stay positive but the past couple weeks leave me to think that you guys are all assanine number humpers that rely more on polls than to rely on your players and fan base. Man if you were not the best looking chat device I would have already told you to shove it and picked MSN,AOL, or Yahoo for it. Then again at least you arseholes don't allow true spyware yet.

Edited you to make it more plausible. This is the organic system right? No caps on jedi? Yeah organic would mean waiting for them to decide enough is enough. Way whacked dev's = way whacked gameplay = not a damn bit of continuity in game leat alone consistency in the product for sale or the product for rent until a contract expires.

So if it is 1814400 seconds till phase shift then it is 476.22 hours (if i did my math right)before a shift. But then they shut down the servers everyday for atleast 1 hour which adds 21 hours a phase not including other downtime like the 5 hour maintenence they are doing now. On some servers it is going to suck because they are down more then others like sunrunner.
I really wish it was a straight 3 week cyle so it doesntmake it so u have to check the village everyday which is a nice distance away from science outpost. I woudnt be surprised if the phase shift was thursday with all the down time happenning and because i have to work all day

is it true that if u dont finish ur 4 boxes in phase 1, u cant do anything until that phase comes around again and u are able to complete th training?
if thats true, then the cycles should be as fast as possible to weed out the slow grinders
i think i remember TH or someone mention that they were trying to take the grind out of getting jedi.......lol

I did the math on servers like radiant that are down for a hour and a half instead of the normal 1 hour for most of the other servers. It comes out to approx 81000 seconds up each day 1814400/81000= 22.4 days. So those of us on the black sheep servers are looking at a 23 day turn over each cycle not counting extra down time. So Radiant and it's like SHOULD be on phase 2 thursday morning.

HAHA I see that SOE still hasn't made up that semester of Business Practices 101 that it obviously slept through. I have a Novel concept. Lets have all the players agree that we will pay approximately 14.99 on or about approximately every month or so. How long do you thing the other party in this matterwould let that fly? Not very far a fear. So we will all just keep paying for this level of customer service or quit entirely....Our only two choices. Be safe everyone!

Wow are you guys really upset about having to wait maybe an extra day for the phase change? Take the time that you are complaining and bank some extra XP so when it does change you can train right away. Seriously you people complain too much its a game if you get this worked up over a game I think its time to unplug for a day or two.
