I think that the GCW would experience a major boost if the game drove players to kill other players of the opposite faction through a mission system, in the already-available imperial or rebel mission terminals.
Make doing factional missions require players to be overt. Period.
Add a timer for factional missions, when the timer runs out, the mission is no longer available and the lair dissappears, forcing players to meet the requirements of that mission immediately.
For each mission taken by one player of one faction, a mission should exist to the opposite faction to stop that first player's mission.
1) I would also like to see sunglasses, sun-goggles, etc. In general the more clothes the better. People like to look unique so I will encourage this all I can. No other game that I can think of allows for more customization. The drawback comes from people who have just about played the game out. So I was thinking of rare schematics for clothes that can only be used in a factory with a limit of 1 or maybe 20 of something. Could simply be a color exclusive to this schematic. They could make them rare enough so that each time one is found the chance of it being the same as one already found would be quite remote. Also Iwould liketo see snow trooper armor of course and scout trooper armor as soon as possible.I would also like to see the helmets worn by the defenders in the beginning of Star Wars IV when the blockade runner is attacked. (I know it’s cheap plastic and looks like cheap plastic in the movie, but I have no doubt yours will look better).
2)I would like to see the ability to rent vehicles for new players. You could have renting stations in player cities. The station has to be supplied with the vehicles to rent by citizens of the city who get a share in the rental fee; (renting vehicles with custom colors and such for a premium). The vehicles last only as long as the player pays, say…by the hour…and then automatically return to the renting station. The vehicle is automatically repaired when returned. The renter might perhaps pay an hourly fee to provide the vehicle for rent and the renting terminal has to be within the vicinity of a garage. I know that a vehicle can be bought if a payer put their mind too it but this might help with new players who are in a group where everyone else has a vehicle. That or allow an x34 to carry 2 people.
3) You could add droid sales-bots like an R2-unit that has a projected message from the owner of the shop. It will show and image of the shop owner and give his message (he should look almost solid except for the telltale scan-lines of a hologram). This would be cool because you would get to see the shop owner.
4) Also for new armor a Gungan shield would be interesting. You could also add a repeating blaster turret. (like the one in Empire that the snow troopers were setting up to blast at the Falcon) The user would have to stop and set the repeater up but once it starts firing beware! All the repeater user needs to worry about is overheating and trying to use it against someone in melee. In a PvP environment it would be limited because it doesn't move when shootingand the user is vulnerable to melee.
5) I want a T-16 Are we going to see those in Lightspeed. I know that’s off topic but???
- Only bounty hunters are known to hunt Jedi
- There's enough bounty hunters to do the job
- Teras Kasi are only martial artists, nothing more, and not hunters
- There's not enough EU material to suggest Teras Kasi artists did in fact hunt Jedi in the past
Now for my arguements against those arguements-
Only bounty hunters are known to hunt Jedi - Show me once in the entire movie saga where a bounty hunter was paid to hunt jedi? Boba Fett? Nope, he only attacked Luke because Luke's gang was attacking Jabba, andFett was on Jabba's payroll. Jango Fett? He was hired to kill Padme and thus hired another merc to do the job. Hewasnt hired to kill Obi-Wan and that attack was just in defense. Even against Mace Windu, there he was on Dooku's payroll.
The only place I heard about bounty hunter jedi hunters was in the EU, and that was with Aurra Sing, a former Jedi herself on a revenge trip. A one-frame character later on put into a book. Still, its EU, the same source as the TK Jedi hunters.
There's enough bounty hunters to do the job - The Jedi population is getting bigger and more and more Jedi are not in fear of being hunted. Alot of them are going unchecked. However, this could change as Ive heard the bounty hunters will get a revamp and become alot more dangerous. Still doesnt mean the Jedi will be in check alot more and that fear will be established.
The TKers dont need to access the hunter terminals to hunt Jedi. As another person put it, its a moral issue and not one of money. Give the TKers the ability to at least sense a Jedi nearby and force them into confrontation.
There's not enough EU material to suggest Teras Kasi artists did in fact hunt Jedi in the past - Ive read more material on the TKers being Jedi hunters then bounty hunters, sans Masters of Teras Kasi video game.
