We failed not because we messed anything up but because we didnt know where to go and what to do, we are trying to work it out for ourselfs without reading guides or anything else cause we want somethign tough to do.

Oh, I read what you wrote just fine - if anyone's a moron, it's you for missing my point.

I'm trying to tell you that your post was meaningless - you went up there and accomplished nothing - so what's it matter if you avoided getting killed or not? You were so careful that you ran out of time.

Try to actually get it done in the time limit and come back and tell us when you have. Because until then you really don't have anything to report.

I LIKED MY VISIT IN THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE

We were a group of six, who tried it the first day the corvette was on.

We didn´t expect to survive

We were pleased to survive and only ran out of time

What did I like?

The athmosphere and the challange and the latter one is the reason why I wouldn´t ask to nerf it. Even if we never be able to complete the mission, I would like, because the nearly impossible is the thing that attracts me and keeps me playing.

Negative aspects?

Searching for the ticket up, not knowing what you re lokking for, could be funny indeed, but not if you have to wait on spaceports, travel some thousend metres and, after having the brainwave not to look only for lootable MOBs and Magseal Containers, to loot an item your questgiver tells you was the wrong and you have to start again... (Lucky us, one of us looted the right document...)

Some of us didnt see any walls and walked through space.....

Walls you get shot throug or get aggroed through

Losing buffs when you die is a bad joke, if you have to fight your way through One-Shot Über-MOBs

Escapepods that dont tell what they are unless you use them to check out what they are..

No place for docs to buff or heal

We didn´t face the problem, but clonecamping is another bad joke

And the most negative aspect,

if you decide to delay a mini-publish, don´t start pushing it life till those ridiculous bugs aren´t solved. We all know every publish is heavily bugged, so nobody is surprised if Test-Center needs longer than expected,BUT COULDN`T YOU ONCE DECIDE TOTAKE YOUR TIMETO FIX BUGS LIKE CLONECAMPING AND PAPERWALLS INSTEAD OF BRINGING MISERY TO YOUR CUSTOMERS?

And if you should ever decide to answer this post, dont use those lame excuses like "aehm, there are different types of bugs and little bugs like shooting through walls are not so severe to delay a publish ... or... oh we never realized it while testing....or ...that will be fixed with theCombat Balance (you know, that little ghost-dogwewere searching for 6 months and will probably never find in our server room...

Greetings,

Keep the difficulty the way it is (it cant be too difficult if right after the publish the corvette Mission has been completed, see Europe-Farstar board). Just fix the mentioned glitches.

It was awesome...

And to all you people out there who say it is impossible let me tell you what we went up with:

9 people

Master Commando
Master Swordsman / part doctor
Master Pistoleer/ Master Smuggler
Pistoleer / Fencer (Non-Master)
Pistoleer / CM (non master)
TKA Master i think
Master Doctor
Marksman / Scout (Non Master)
One other - Not sure of profession

We worked well as a group, stuck together and didn't try to kill everything...

We made a mistake in dealing with the SBD's and this was our downfall, but we got away and very nearly made it to the bridge, nobody died that often.. in fact not everyone died and those who did didn't die very often... So we didn't complete it, but we will next time, or maybe the time after!

Pick your fights, pick your weapons, don't expect to be able to kill the droids, you don't need to in order to complete the missions...

Oh and allowing re-buffing would make it easy... everytime someone died they would just re-buff and so death would have no consequences, you can't fail if you can re-buff and you need to be able to fail for it to be fun.

Oh and to everyone who is saying it unfair that crafters can't do this, or people who are not combat double masters... our group wasn't mostly combat double masters, and more importantly, this is COMBAT CONTENT, thus it is aimed at COMBAT players, not crafters... surely that is obvious? If you don't play a combat profession then you don't get to participate in combat content, if you don't play a crafter you don't get to craft... obvious no?

I'm a casual player, took me a little over 4 months to get master heavy swordsman so here's my opinion:

- Mostly everything has been said by others, the corvette is interesting but way too hard for your average player. Not everyone has 26 hrs in a day for swg and can afford uber items to take on the corvette.

- Those telling people to quit whining and complaining, **edit**, this is a feedback post and that's what they are giving. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Write your feedback on the corvette, not on what others are saying. Nothing to do with corvette but it pisses me off.

- Tone down the corvette, then Devs should do a search on those that got the badge for completing the corvette mission, give them a cookie, and set it so the next time they go, npc's havetwice the ham and do twice the damage -see how they do now. This way, regular people can have a toned down corvette and those that haven't been out of the house in months can have the challenge they wanted so much.

Keep the Corevette EXACTLY AS IT IS!!! This is one great ride!!! My 6th time up we got through the destroy mission. This is NOT as impossible as some make out. I handles the SBD rooms ALONE without even attacking them. Just got incapped, ran a little farthur, incapped again, ran a little farthur. As long as you keep your objectives in front of you, you CAN do it. There is no need to attack everything on the ship. One of our guys got the codes, I took care of the droid part and repair as well as the fuel adjustmentand then we rushed the bridge for the destruct! That was one wild ride and the most fun I've had in awhile! Some of us are going back to try to find the Power Plant for our new speeder schematics!

HOME RUN DEVS!!!

One other thing... LEAVE YOUR ARMOR IN YOUR DROID!

Okay, ONE more post:

For those wondering, I can't remember the entire makeup of our team but I'm pretty sure the only masters there were myself (Master Smuggler/TKM), a Master Doc, and a MBH. We MAY have had a Master Commando. Our group was put together pretty hastily. After my first death I put my armor away. That's when I was tasked with finding the droid for the part and for getting to the fuel terminal. The scariest part was try to get back to the escape pods after the mission was completed. Most of us were incapped in the long hallway leading to the bridge and we just kept leap-frogging towards the door. Probably would've been pretty funny to watch. We had about 3 minutes left when we finally got to the escape pods, and I was more jacked up at that point than I was in the engine room. Also read this very closely... You don't need a freaking Jedi. With certain people on certain tasks and then a quick regroup to take out the main objective, you can do it.

Please stop saying that it can't be done. You only need a group that understands what they are supposed to be doing. The problem is, most groups break up and go loot hunting from the start. That's not a very good strategy. BEAT the thing first and then go back for your loot.

TH,

Just a little Feedback on the corvette... Firstly, overall great job, Instanced missions are absolutly the way to go! one thing that I always loved about Anarchy online (ok the only thing I ever loved about it :smileyvery-happy was that I didnt have to wade through 1000's of campers and marco looters to have a chance to do my mission... please think long and hard about doing more of this kind of mission! if you need a good reason why, go to just about any spot where Meatlumps spawn and that will make it clear. So overall very well done... that said, I just want to add... WOW those big battle Droids are insane, one of them is nuts, 4 or 5 of them is just overkill i think, I dont mind hard but they are a little over the top I think... ok granted I am a Master TKA so Kinetic damage only and they shrug that off but our group of 10 who I would like to think was pretty well rounded had a lot of trouble takeing one of them down and when we had to deal with 4 of them... well that was pretty much the end of it. We didnt have a lot of trouble finding the papers, so I guess we were just lucky on that front... I think the storm troopers are just about right in strenght and damage dealing but the big droids are MEAN... Even with that tho, I reallyliked it a lot, some of the most fun I have had in game in a very long time! Please please please though dont overlook what I said eariler about macro looters and Instanced dungeons, make more, make many many more, if people want to macro loot let them do it in their very own instanced dungeon that kicks them out every hour or so and makes them run around for 3 hours to find the way back in agian

anyway just my own little thoughts on the game overall and on the Corvette, overall a very positive experience in the corvette!

Great dungeon. All of you who say its too hard or think you have to be a master to do it, LOL. I am a master nothing and myself and one other went thru and beat it ith no problem. even had 10 minutes to spare.

I can truly appreciate trying to make a dungeon hard, but IMO this is almost impossible without the best of situations and knowing what to do before hand. 90% armor is a must; Godly buffs in every stat (I'm talking master doc, dancer, musician, spice, brandy, and yes: powerboost) and you might have a chance at surviving9-10 blasts from one of the higher Mobs; and Def stacking. Note: we all had this and were masters of our profession AND a Dark Jedi, but it just takes too long to kill the Mobs. With a time limit of one hour, short of running past most of the NPC's, it's impossible to kill them all (defeating the purpose of getting uber loot en route ) and make it to the objective in time.

Bloodfin, Jodou Kast

can I just ask is this what the Devs want to game to become, If you dont have buffs, 90% armor (that btw you cannot eavn put on without buffs) more food and drink than wallmart, spice and be a TKM then half of the content of the game is off limits?

sorry but thats just wrong.

Dev 1: Some of the players are finding the content too easy when they have buffs, 90% armor, powerboost, food and spice.

Dev 2: So lets increase HAM and damage 10 fold

Dev 1: We could just tone down buffs and food then everyone would be able to enjoy the game.

Dev 2: LOL thats funny lets just go with the 10x HAM and damage idea

I decidied to give the corvette one more try and see if the difficulty was truely scaleable. After accuring my ticket, I took the shuttle to the corvette with no armor or buffs and even equiped a weapon i didn't qualify for. Imagine my suprise when I saw there was the same number of enimes with the same resists and hams as there were the first time i went to the corvette with a group of 12 masters fully buffed. So much for the mission being scaleable.

If you say your going to do something... then do it. Just another wasted effort like RIS Armor.
