Thread: Feedback: Jedi Bugs and Issues
sorry for rant, but thi is definately rediculous atm
full 3 days passed by and i still got no crystal at all, so still cant really test.
i am so mad at this .....
why the devs didnt just placed into our inv a set of stuff we need?
no, instead have to be lucky online while someone give out some crystals?
well, i wasnt online that time and i killed tonns humanoid mobs witjh my rusty axe, still no crystal.
devs? you wan us to test new stuff and get our free time for this. why you dont help us at least a little bit more proper way?
i am so dissapointed:/
Jedi xp seems too slow to get on the Lightsaber tree.
Take at novice with the two-hand sabre, and only one special. With a white (even) target you can get about 200xp at most. That is with spamming specials on all attacks to get more xp, which drains the Force Power bar. Afterwhichyou have to sit to regen the bar, cuting more time. If you don't use any specials, it comes to about 50 xp.
If say you kill one equal level creaute every 3 min (giving time for regen) it would take about 2 days of straight play to get your first box in the lightsaber tree. With long playtimes (40 hours a week), you're talking over a week for one box. If the trend continues for every box, it would take 5 months to master the lightsaber tree.
This connected with the death penalty seems a hair too steep to me. But jedi are supposed to be rather rare, and I don't expect it to be easy either.
- I note that my 1st Gen. Saber Lance isn't producing an icon when I have it equipped and in my UI Toolbar.
- Group UI window: I'm losing the names for some people in the group on occassion. All that's shown is the distance item...but no name.
- Combat UI: "No Grammar DATA FOR: [cbt_spam:saber2hphantom_hit]"
- A Probot Drone scanned me during some solo hunting on Lok. Even though I had my saber equipped at the time, it returned "No contraband found". Wouldn't an equipped Saber qualify as contraband?
...more to come...

Your fundamental problem with that first paragraph? The old jedi skills are still visible/in the system, but you're not supposed to be using it. You craft lightsabers in the Lightsaber tree (technique, as I recall).
So you spend 89 points per mastery, off the top of my head. Jedi initiate does cost 250 points... but is irrelevant for publish 9, since it's the 'old school' beginning tree.
Likewise the padawan/knight trees that have the 0 skill point skills in them.
"Force Progression" is a tree that isn't about buying boxes, but measuring your progress. That's why you'll see Padawan, but the (old school) padawan tree is empty.

Lightsaber experimentation is in the Lightsaber (Techniques) tree. Master artisan doesn't apply.
And the Force Sensitive picks that are supposed to enhance experimentation appear to do nothing.
