do you have to have your account activated for a total of 360 days or just registered over 360 days ago, cuz i started in sep 2003 but have been playing on/off and i didnt get a 360 day award

This was explained many times over in this thread as well ason the Vet Reward page on the main SWG site. There is even an option on the new Reward Menu Pop-Up in game which gave you the option to get more information...whichopens up a browser window with the explanation of the reward system(including the "per account" rule)on the SWG website.


In fairness, the information was put out bySOE and available in multiple ways so you really can't blame them. Sorry you found out the hard way, but I hope you don't blame SOE.

You Anniversary is calculated based on the total number of days your account has been active and in good standing. If there are periods of time where you had cancelled your account or didn't pay for it, those periods are deducted from your total time.


In other words, it appears that you totals come from the billing system, not the game system itself. Therewas a guy asking about this several pages ago who had abilling error or a lost credit card, andJonathan addressed it there. If I can find the post, I'll add a clicky here

Problem or beauty of this game is that when you tamper with one thing it gonna affect a lot of people. Not just the ones it seemingly benefits in the first place. Lets take the anti decay kit and have a closer look. Player A has a legendary PH with 3k maxdam. he has used it a bit in pvp and thus the condition has reached 120 so he has it stored away for very special occasions.


But lo and behold here comes the anti dacay kit to save the day. He can now use the PH for killing gubburs cause nothing will ever change the condition. He uses it more constructively thou to go camp acklay. And even thou he is almos outdamaged by the3 grouped guys with antidecaying highend acklay hammers and the 2 riflemen with antidacaying exceptional T21s he gets the kill.


From the acklaay he loots 6 77-120 bones... fairly decent that could potential make a sliced ph with max dam above 700, but since the antidacy kit has been around for a couple of month, most people allready have highend antidecaying phs and of course he can sell the bones, but not at all with as high demand as previously. Now imagine the same scenario in a year....


All this to say, its not only going to affect the WS ommunity, in the long run its going to have impact on the whole player economy and this is not even taken the pvp-side og all this mess into consideration....


I seriously hope the do something about the decay kit or take it out completely!


And dont even start on the CU. Ill start taking that into consideration when Im downloading the patch which holds it. Untilll then I play from what is live.






I see where you're coming from but, at the same time, I'd like to use something that is irreplaceable. the person that has it may have no hope of getting anything like it again. Without this kit, he/she may settle for a weapon that is only 60% as good.


I can see on weapons that are replaceable but if I have a gun that can hit super hard, am I going to be satisfied with one that is crap compared to it? Once that decays, that could cause a lot of people to feel they reached the "peak" and not play again because now they are using a crappy weapon.





I support removing combat classes if keeping them in results in a "dumbed down" game

How about looking at this whole decay thing from another angle... and please flame me if i am wrong here

but playing daily for 18 months has given me an intresting slant on the abilities of some players in this game.


1) Fact. Some players seem to get better loot than others

2) Fact. Some players do seem to get better tunes on crystals than others.

3) Some players also seem to be better at smuggler slicing than others too ( and im not talking exploits )


the list goes on.


I have played almost every profession in game... i have killed dozens of krayt dragons.. taken on the highest

mobs there are... and never ever looted a pearl. i have never looted any good akalay bones or krayt tissues.

I have never had a good crystal tune ( tuned over 100 crystals of various quality's )...... again the list goes on.


These decay kits for some of us is a fantastic way to make some ballance to this. i was a rifleman for 6 months

did everything in my power to get a quality T21... and again never owned one. I dont expect to have anything

handed to me on a plate but this particular reward is good. its per account not per toon meaning it will remain

rare. and are trading for a heck of a lot of money.


I guess the point i am making is this... the sky isnt falling... its not the end of the game ... but for some of us

who have had a crappola time trying to compete against the uber players means we can use the best we have

till something better comes along. Remember you have to destroy the item to recover the kit. So in the long

run it will decrease the number of harsh weapons imho.


As for the people who have been ripped off for millions for the sake of a pearl for 5 mill which tunes to pathetic

or useless stats. at least this will force the incredibly overiflated prices of crystals and pearls to a more manageable

level. Finaly SOE have addressed this loot inflation and kicked it ( hopefully ) in the nads.


I hope it is kept in place but i guess I will get flamed by the same people who say... bring back jedi perma death....

make me uber in 10 days... wah wah wah this games hard make it easier...


I applaud the SOE people for making this bold move. its a step in the right. direction.


Now all we need is the Combat Ballance ( chortle )

Ok I read about6 pages in and decided that no one is answering this question. What is what in the rewards program? Is there a link with pictures matching the titles and descriptions of each so I can choose wisely? Dont say Friday Features because it doesnt explain anything. Another thing like this is the faction rewards, it really sucked that first time you bought a weaon from the faction trainer only to realize it was the worst weapon youve ever seen, and you spent all your points instead of getting the cool faction boots.



Descriptions and detailed pictures of each please.......

pve , pvp killer now...

all the 1 hitters come out and kill / steal mobs , lootright and so on..

i mean....before weeks you change the exceptionla wepaons ( right , not hard enough but right )
and now ? you give us a item that i can use to use a weapon LIMITLESS ?

that is ( im sorry for that word ) stupid...my godness you dont play you own game ?

i love this game , and i love this patch but

antidecaykit and 30k ress of any type is an ECONOMY KILLER !!!!!!

Probably to keep people from getting 8 (or 16 or 24)rewards instead of one on a given server. Imagine all the, "Trading vet reward on Chilastra for anti-decay kit on Eclipse" threads.
