Cant you read??? TH said that it would take 1-3 days for the first wave of people to get through, so the average person will have to wait upwards of a week.
Most people would have been ok with this if they had announced this before the patch went in.

Okay... Here is my thoughts on this "new jedi system". I am alittle upset that I fall into group 4 and have to wait probally months to start my quests, with that being said though I can deal with that. What I CAN NOT deal with is this:
1- I can go out and buy a game today and as long as I make it glow within a few months I will more then likely be equal to my character that is already glowing now and that had to wait months to start the quests due to "traffic" and this new character starts with me? That's hardly fair?!
2- The grouping idea is HORRIBLE. You all are acting like this was a spur of the moment thing, but you planned this patch for like 10 months. I can deal with it IF there is a group 5,6,7 etc... Group 5 being AFTER group 4 (us non grinders who glow NOW) get our quests that WE WAITED FOR however long go. If we have to wait so should others. A new player should not be equal to me. Non glowers now that finish by "next patch" should be group 5-8. Make it fair man. That is what makes me mad.
3- I played this game to ENJOY the game because you had said long ago you were going to make this a quest based system. Now that it is quest based it seems I should have been a holo-grinder (AKA ruining the game) because you are rewarding them way too much and giving them too much prestige over everyone else. You gave them enough rewards with a jump on quests and everything else. To give them a jump on groups is going WAY to far. This bothers me even more so because you "supposedly" changed this system because grinders WERE ruining the game play and the systems involved, so why make it so they grinded EVEN further ruining the game and reward them more then the others who actually PLAYED the game? (again nothing against grinders but this is way too much reward for you guys considering you guys are the reason they changed the system).
4- Putting a side the fact of how unfair this is... You have no idea how long it will take for group 4 to "get the old man" yet I have read numerous posts about how the old man spawns and people drive right by him never knowing he was there for them. How do you intend for us to carry on with our "gaming" experience already being shunned by SOE and now have to worry about missing our old man in addition to this?

Oh wow,
it's okay that hologrinders should get rewarded for their troubles, but denying us non-grinders
equal access to the village by putting us in most likely group 4 is really upsetting.
why not grant pub-9 unlockers first, and then give all others the same chance to get to see the old
man? that can't be that hard...

Why don't you try reading the Test Center forum instead of bitching like everyone else?? I know for fact there's sticky telling you for the most part what you need to do and what the highest level is.

And those of you think that they can let everyone in at the same time, grow up. The fact is, when too many people are in the same area, we have bad lag. When there is even more, we crash servers. Bloodfin had a massive multiguild war a few weeks ago and in one battle, brought down the server that handles Naboo. Everyone that was on the planet was crashed out. They have to stagger it, so just get over it.

They never came out and told any of us old unlockers or jedi that it was profession BASED -- IN fact all of us for months asumed this, now then they had the right (Thank god they did) TO UP it at any given time they chose kinda like keep it mysterious--- not only this if they didnt there would be 10000 jedi in game right now and that would be a HUGE issue.
They kept it a secret and or NEVER TOLD us untill now SO deal with it and understand it instead of wanting insta jedi-- its just a bit of time...thank TH for keeping it secret so we could not ever go back on him..
Also let me know where its written that have to tell us if they change anything or upgrade it-- please I GOTA see that

I agree that people who grinded 28 proffesions should get to skip parts but so should the people who didn't grind and belived you when you said that you where making a new jedi system that wouldn't have so much grinding so stuck to a proffesion they liked and got what they could out of this game. Give them something more and ffs listen to the people who play this game.

Well you just lost another account with me. I too will seek legal council on a lawsuit involving the promises to make and play as a jedi.
If anyone is starting a class action lawsuit please contact me I am intrested in joining.
As for SOE i will be submitting a deatailed written complant. with various encountered bugs and non caring CSRS.
What will happen if you still grind out skills?
What will happen to those who join as of today.. compared to those that have paid for the past year?
I am sadly dissapointed with the level of service and new game design here.
You should have let the players know of this change before it happened.
way to ruin a great concept.

i mastered 8 proffesion withour grinding anything!
im a mayor of a town with over 90 people in it AND im a GUILD LEADER!
i played this game for more then 9 months now, i enjoyed it and got bored in the final, so i started RPing and managing the town.
i roleplay cause what RPers do creates better content then the actual game content does.
i regret to say that your now upsetting a lot of players, and i must say i agree with them!

I unlocked 2 days after pub 9, Now you want me to wait for 1 to 3 days for a visit, HOW about someone tell you hey You may get paid from SOE on Friday but you know it might not get there on time so you might have to wait for your money til Monday...
You people at SOE are showing Yuppie theory at best!!!! You block us for 2 months from leveling our jedi's now you put a waiitng game in the squence of the gaming experience. How much more abuse you think your customer base will take??? I know I am highly pist off when I been siting in the same spot for 6 hours just waiting with all the badges...
