Can I make a friendly suggestion?


Please try to focus on completing the current publish before trying to balance BH against jedi.



the following gamebreaking issue are still in game:


Double death penalty when logging out while dead and sometimes just by dying.


XP loss regardless of rez.


Robes don't provide equivalent armor protection.

Issue: generic crafting tool, weapon, droid and generic crafting tool

Server: gorath

Planet: all


Location (x,y): everywhere



Your profession: master artisan /master weaponsmith



Instructionson how to recreate the bug:



the crafting kit (weapon) only offers weapons and misc items to be crafted. all other (clothes, generic items, etc.) are gone!!!!


this affects the generic crafting tool and the weapon, droid and generic items crafting tool as far as i know.



no speeders can be crafted anymore (no generic items are shown in the crafting tools) - schematics are not offered in the crafting tool.



the bug occured after todays patch!!

*curses! This forum type must be the most annoying ever - just lost an entire post becuase of the preview post option*


I've been thinking alot about the new publish and you can see my initial reaction on it somewhere on.. hmm think it was page 15 or you can search it through my profile.


Instead of only complaing about what is happening on the live servers I strongly suggest people to take action - not by cancelling subscriptions but by joiningthe testcenters. The only way we can make sure things go smooth is to help the development team test the publishes before they go live - but that requires the development team is open to feedback and listen to their testcrew. Secondly they must communicate with the players there instead of keeping things hidden until the publish goes live. Rolling untested features into live is a certain way of scaring away many of the people who either don't have the patience nor the time to review the forums, and quite frankly I think many of the things in publish 9 wouldn't have gone through if they had been tested properly on the TCs. (Bazaar bug anyone?)


So this is my call to everyone disheartened by publish 9 - enlist on the TestCenters and let your voices be heard about publish 10 before it goes live. This is the only way we as players can keep the development team from making mistakes that makes most of the community lose trust in them!

After tracking a Jedi mark and hitting them, if they escape (read: Force run away),said BH will no longer be able to attack them, regardless of how many times they track them down unless they abort mission and take it again. Never mind the fact that due to the weapon switch delay and the fact that BHs are gimped very few are even bothering to hunt jedi.

Issue: Weapon and Armor Switching Delay Sucks.

Instructions on how to recreate: Switch a Weapon. Change Armor.


This is by far, the very most...WORST "fix" Ever in this game since the days of Beta.

What have you done ive spent 6 months making Master Bounty hunter only to have what little power i had taken away....nooooo

Do you know how frustrating it is to see jedi with light sabres in your face laughing as they have no tef anymore....and to cap it all i go to my mission terminal and the bounty is now only 15000 cr. This is all too much. Please sort out BH its hard enough as it is without taking the fun bits out. Fair dues if your trying to make us hate jedi and want to hunt them all the more but its so unfair....does george know about this lol.

Most damage is done and no testing would change a thing about it . Publish 10 great ... more and more jedi ..... what should we do at TC just reporting not working quest parts as working ones so that not more jedis will show up at the starport swining their sabers and insulting others ?

3) Badges: Clarification: There is no separate tab on the Character Sheet. Character badges are now located on the "personal" tab of the character sheet in the middle box instead of the examine window.

Are you saying that the list of profession mastery badges no longer shows in the examine window?


If so, that makes me a bit unhappy.


I chargefor Master ID Skills according to the number of master Badges a person has.


I figure that if the person has none, they probably can't afford much....


If I can not tell a noob from a vet.............

I have heard some talk that holos were disabled with publish 9.I hear they are only silent now.Is this true?I was planning to master one more profession before publish 10.Without a holo I probably won’t bother.

- Experience Points, working as intended or not?. Though 50% more than before, I really liked the Xp for individual uses of the force before it was removed, not just kill points.


- Vehicle exitwarping was terrible yesterday, so was server boundry warping.

Well, that's all fine and good, but that delay should only be while you are IN, combat.


It should work as it did previously when not in combat. It is a **edit** to use an armor equipping macro now.
