As we say in Texas, "Don't fix it if it ain't broke"....

Db reasons, don't give us that please. The game has allowed us to have 1000 schems ever since serverup as far as I know. The fact is that people don't make 1000 and let the items sit, they like to make schems that will last for 1000 uses. Like power handlers, I make them as I need them, and making a new schem every few days would make me VERY angry. T21s for example, I've burned through 150 power handlers just making a schem before. The 100 limit would be very silly, game breaking for me. I'd quit for sure, I don't want more stress than I already have ingame.

I say you just fix it so you can't put in a number over the cap count and up the cap to 500 items.

I vote for 500-1000. often my GH pops in huge amounts and then let it run while we either go play or sleep. 100 is way too inconvenient. Some of us work and we can't keep popping into the game to reload another schem. Our Factories are easily cranking between 300-500 items at a time, whether it's components or final products (can't help that we are popular for good and plentiful goods). I am speaking of meds specifically, and oh.. my GH has 5 food/chem factories and plans to drop more... that's how busy we get.

300 is good for medics as then we can create runs of up to 100 high level items (with three identical sub-components)

Also, you mention that your Dev. team is shackled to their desk... you'd be shackling us and making us crafters do nothing but craft rather than enjoy all the game has to offer.

This is horrible for chefs. Our 2 most popular items(sunburn and breath of heaven) take a ton of identicalfactory made componets.

With 3 factories going, it would take a full day to make a maximum of 32 breaths (it takes 2 sets of 3 identical alcohols) Onecrate and 7 singles and thats it... I'd have to sell a crate for 100k to make it worth the time and no one would buy it for that. This will be the end of BoH.

Either leave it at 1000 or change some items to take less of the same components. Chefs Breath of Heaven drinkand ArchitectsWall modules are two good examples. There are more. Changing it to 100 would really screw the common player who doesn't get the chance to logon more than once a day. 4 crates of BoH in 1 factory would take weeks. Seriously.

I think the limit should be 1000.

100 is just too low. It requies 50-70 structural modules to make one heavy harvestor.

I'll save all the long winded-ness, I say 500-1k would be satisfactory

I guess I agree with everyone else here that this hurts the casual crafter. It was bad enough a few weeks ago when the factories would stop after 100 items. But at least all I had to do was log back in and restart the factory before going to work in the morning.

I really want my factory to run all day. If for some reason you really want to limit maufacturing schematics to 100*, please allow us to load multiple schematics into the factory, and have the factory automatically use the next schematic in the "data hopper" when the first runs out.

If you only want factories to produce 100 items at a time, please slow them down. 100 advanced stimpack component takes a factory a little over 3.5 hours. To make that last 24 hours would require changing the current value of 8 seconds/item/unit of complexity to 54 seconds.

If you don't do either of these things, you greatly tilt the crafting playing field towards power gamers who play all day. That wasn't the vision for SWG when I joined the dev boards.

* see many posts above for why this hurts advanced professions more than this humble stimpack chemist.
