ok is not a new issue as it always worked like that but for jedis is really a big issue

scatter hits dont take in account the char 'natural' defences this means that as jedis have only toughtness (jedi and sabre) and force armor to 'absorb' damage the attaks made using scatter hit will do damage at full potential.

this means that jedis will be almost defensless against professions (and mobs) that use this kind of attack...

for sure a thing to look at before publish go live

In the intrest of testing I dropped all my skills then dropped Force Sensitive just to see if you could. A Jedi character should not be able to drop Force Sensitive and if they do you should make them back into a regular character. A Jedi dropping Force Sensitive skill is about the same as a Trandoshan morfing into a Bothan.

Second the lightsaber skill tree: You should make it where each different weapon takes experience from fighting with that specific weapon not jedi experience, this would make it much more realistic. The techniques should stay as jedi experience as should Master Lightsaber. In making the skills take weapon experience instead of jedi experience the amount of experience would have to be upped for each of those skills maybe as much as double of what they are now so it would go 400K/800K/1.6 Million/3.2 Millionto keep the experience balanced out for all the other skills.

I couldn't get /animalScare to work as just novice Force wielder, said I didn't have enough force power. Overall the skills are layed out nice this system actually adds strategy and thinking to making a good Jedi character(perhaps that's why none of the people coming from live like the system hehe.)

What you're a Bounty Hunter we should fear and dispise you but no we pity and laugh, because you are weak even with the best person fighting with you.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not but if you queue up a force power, say force knockdown and your target goes out of LOS, it says "You can no longer see your target" AND still takes the force away as if you used the power.

This probably has been posted once, but worth posting again.

As a padawan right now on live, it would seem with the box for box conversion that a padawan would be able to master a force discipline.

This is not the case.

A padawan has to waste six of his boxes on Force Sensitve skills, I hope this is a bug.

I actually played as a TKM for +96736 unmanned, and Jedi +2860 (all gained only with self healing). I made my light saber, and crystal packs, but was unable to use the light saber due to lack of a color crystal, and no ability to gain one.

And then, due to confusion, I went back to the trainer to try to re-roll my jedi so I could use my newly constructed light saber.

Problemo.... Now I have a character with no skills 250/250. I have the force sensitive slot, and I have the force progression skill tree, but I am no longer a Padewan, and my trainer will not give it back to me. So here I am wanting to continue with my character, and I do not know what to do to get him back as he was short of the delvelopers rolling back the clock on my character. So, frustratingly, all my hard work gaining xp is all wasted unless the developers can do something.

This confusion all came about due to the trainer having the old jedi initiate skill boxes, and the new ones togethere, and from talking to people many have been confused, and are in the same boat as I am now. Please help everyone so we can get our skills back and achieve Padewan rank again.

I hope everyone had a great Holiday Weekend...

Thanks much,

Chu....::

Is there any way i can get my char fixed and rechoose some skills so i can participate again. Please drop me an email or somethin. I was suppose to be knight. I have a live jedi and a char on TC1 made before the cutoff day.

Issue: Someone said Neutral Jedi do not get TEF when they use force skills or a saber, and pointed out how easily it would be to exploit this for leveling safely... here is a thought to correct that.

Being Neutral is always dangerous, especially if you dont have an formal agreements.

I suggest that a Neutral Jedi become TEF to both sides and neutrals. Yes it would be very rough to be neutral... as it should be.

One thing though if that does happen, neutrals need their own symbol by their name so we could tell if they were imps or neuts easily. If I am a rebel I might gank any Imp that is TEF, but if I targeted a neutral and saw he was clearly neutral.... I might not.

New bug, not Jedi related but I havn't seen this until publish 9. The first piece of BE clothing you equip that has Def Vs. mods gives you double the effect.

For example, I have a piece of clothing that is +4 melee defense, +15 def vs stun. If I equip if, I am given a +30 def vs stun bonus. Any additional pieces I equip after that only give me the normal intended bonus.

This is only occuring with def vs bonus mods that I've seen so far.

More bug reports. Ran around with 4 friends for a few hours today, made a 2nd gen lightsaber (just short Culsion gas...) and had a mix of each of the skill trees in the group.

* You can drop Rebel faction, and go around Neutral. You will not gain a TEF at all using Jedi powers.

*Force Weaken does not appear to be affected by any jedi defences at all. Stacked Force Weaken and Force Choke is equivalent to one shot kills on any non-buffed jedi, even with Force Shield and Master Force Defender (IE- 100 force defence)

*Force Transfer is 1 to 1 cost and transfer, and results in jedi experience (Credit to Zarathustra for this bug). This allows 2 neutral jedi to macro to master in a couple days, without worry of any interference.

* Lightsaber Crafting Kit, and a General Weapons Public Crafting station does not result in the ability to experiment on Lightsabers. (Has anyone got this to work? Are there supposed to be Lightsaber Crafting Stations at the Enclaves?)

General Test 2 issues:

*Some starports on Test 2 are broken (IE- Theed) and others are not (Ie- Kadaara). Might be nice to list which ones work

*Ability to Bug issues is broken

*Chat channels are all non-functional, as are email. So communication is very tough. (PS- bank tipping works, though no email is received)

*Bazaars are not working

*Jedi skill trainers do not train skills. They are asking players to drop all skills to get to 250 skill points to learn Initiate.

Comments:

* I really see no reason players cannot craft their own color crystals. These should have 'very high' durability and are just a tool for coloring as saber. It would be nice to see some UI for adding crystals to a lightsaber 'sockets'. It would look really cool

* Skill point costs seem just a little high. Reduce the 8's to 6's and I think we'd see slightly more independent jedi who still benefit from group jedi tactics. It's odd to see jedi who cannot be at least proficient in one light saber, some basic healing, some basic powers. The way the points 'work' right now basically encourage mastery of 2 trees and half another.

A Padawan reported 11 skill boxes received on transfer from old system to new, this is not the 1 to 1 skill box transfer explained earlier.

*Lightsaber skill trees require 'jedi xp'. Using lightsabers in combat results in lightsaber xp and jedi xp as per the old system, but there is no use in the new system for lightsaber xp.

*No jedi robes still. No idea how to get them.

Oh another- recover from incapacition

/regainConsciousness

Does not appear to work and resets your incap time to 106 (or whatever).

Mind you, I was incapped while under Force Choke. I might have been choked again right after getting 'up'. Was very strange situation. Once incap, DOT's should be cleared?

Please remove xp gains for jedi on /drainForce and /transferForce

The xp a jedi gains for these skills have to go ASAP in the game. With /transferForce, it would be possible for two jedi macro'ing doing this with eachother to gain about 8.5 million xp afk in 24 hours (doing it once per second...a little tip for you jedi on TC right now that want to level up).

Drain Force can creatively be used the same way too...I haven't thought about the possiblities of Channel Force yet, it's too late here for that

But, /transferForce xp definately has to go. Otherwise we'll see people go from a starting level jedi to master in just over 3 days.

Although I seem to accumulate Jedi exp, 1H saber exp, 2h Saber exp and polearm saber exp, the boxes under lightsaber do not update. They also show only Jedi experience. All the boxes actually show Jedi exp. the experience monitor seems to update ok but that one only shows Jedi exp for any jedi skills selected.

Since the latest patch, water does not show up. Lakes and other bodies of water are empty. Waterfalls render but the water itself does not.

Lightsabers do not do damage to lairs. Maybe this was intended. On saturday we were able to damage piket lairs using the lightsabers 1hHit special only, but today they do nothing. You do however get Jedi exp as you use specials and no damage gets done to the lair. All that stops you from getting continuous Jedi exp is running out of force points.

Oh and the bug reporting tool is broken. Bugs cannot be reported from in-game.
