Your saying that those that did nothing should go first and those that tried to do the old system should have to wait? I don't get it.

TH, do the people who didn't grind any professions at all have to sit and wait for weeks while the hologrinders get to complete the quests and then we start our quests? thats not very fair at all.

so all the people who hologrinded and basically played by the crap rules given will come out on top? dont they realize thousands apon thousands of subscribers quit because of the hologrind. this basically ruined the game for alot of people. i refused to hologrind because i knew it would ruin the game for me. i have done everything possible..all poi badges, all themeparks, corvette, warren, marks ect. ive done just about all i could do as a player and i hve reached my end. now i learn i will have to wait weeks..who knows...maybe months more until i get my visit. this is crap. ban me if u want for telling the truth, i really dont give a **edit** anymore

The perspective of waiting for about 3 months to be visited by the old man, and be granted access to enter the Village is really scares me. Please remove those "groups" and allow people to do these quests now.
But not everyone is going to the Village. Special CAP for the village only? Like Only 100 men can enter the village. Do something devs, it's your job. You see how all these people are flaming.

this blows. except for a 3 month break, i've been with this game since the second week it was out. and i can count on one hand the amount of prof that i've mastered. i had a direction that i wanted to go, i wasn't interested in mastering a million prof, and more power to those who did cause that's alot of work. but when i read about quest driven jedi mission stuff, i thought, finally i can be a jedi like the outside of the box said i could be when i bought this hugh pile of crap. i guess i'm in group 4, and now i have to wait till the traffic dies down for me to get my visit, screw this crap. what a waste of time and money.

"Of course, if you qualify for the visit under the new system, you will automatically be granted a visit from the old man."
Then explain to me how I have been waiting in the same spot for about 3-5 hours and I haven't heard a single peep from this guy. If you are gonna say something say it striaght out. Don't be hypocritical. Anyway I think that the groups should be by account age not hologrinding. I believe that players that have been here longers deserve more recognition than those who haven't. Not to mention you should have announced this a week ago. Due to the lack of respect for the players, I have lost all respect for the developers. Disreguarding the feelings of the players is like just treating us like animals.

TH, Can you please clarify the following few items, that willl answer ALOT of the same questions that people are asking:
Silent Professions:
Many of us got Silent Holocrons at different intervels.
Some got 4 professions before the Holocrons went silent, some less.
In my specific case, I mastered 3 professions, opened my first Holocron, mastered that, second holocron, mastered that, then I went silent.
Does this mean that amongst my 5 professions total, I had managaed to Master 4/5 hidden professions?
If not, was was the requirement for Holocrons to go Silent?
The next question relates to the search for the single or in later cases, multiple required Silent professions.
For those that went silent when the unlock number was only 1 silent proff, but never found it...vs those that went silent later on when the number had been moved to as many as 4 "Silent" proffs....how do these people compare?
One could conceivably have been 4/5 of the way there while another could have been 4/8 of the way there, yet they were both on "Silent" professions.
I went on to Master 15 additional professions looking for my Silent, how do those 15 correlate to "credit".
TH, Please clarify for everyone how this is handled within the context of the Unlock Credit.
There are many many posts asking variations on the same theme.
Thanks

What's really amazing is that Im a pre pub 9 unlocker with a Jedi for some time now. And here I was on Dath, just farming crystals with my main, then i couldn't target anything (or be aggro'd). For about 2 min, I was about to log then some old man came up to me. We had tea and he gave me a crystal and then hewas off. Some bit later I went to the wp in the magic crystal gave me and kicked some Sith's around and that was it.
The real wacky thing is that I've only done 19 prof and have under 50 badges (since they're idiodic, at best). So can anyone tell me where this village is so I get started on these new quests. They sound fun.
Good luck to everyone else. Im sure the old dude will come see you.

"You feel an inner glow. The Force is with you." I choose to exert my power over the Force to enter Aurilia.
