Wah Wah, they never said you wouldn't have to stand around like a clown either. I may remind you also that you are the one choosing to stand around like a clown, it is a game PLAY IT!

The only reason I was still playing was to start these force quests. The fact that I was already glowy should kinda HINT to you that I've already gone through most of this game's content. This was all that was left, this was all that I wanted. Now because the devs lied I have to stand around and pray for a solicitation from some sugar daddy.

Ok darthwhatever, you win, Why don't we just turn SWG into Jedi Academy. Which has really awesome gameplay, but absolutely no story. Woudl that make you happy? And it isn't meaningless doubletalk if the first thing said had to meaning to begin with...

Jedi Academy sucks. Stop bringing that up. Yes I want my SWG character to be a Jedi, and I'm willing to work through the Force quests to get it. Is that so bad?

Well Dyrty, if you read some info TH released the other day, you will notice that completed holos count for phases in the force village, not towards getting invited to it. Sounds to me like hologrinders are ticked because they wasted their time grindign instead of exploring.

I think it is safe to say most of us want jedi characters, but that doesn't mean the devs are just gonna hand em over because we pay $13 a month... It is an expansive universe, the game is intended to not have an end, therefore, it would be hard for me to believe that you have seen it all or done it all.

Don't kid yourself. SOE provides minimal content. There hasn't been anything trulynew in a long time, and the few interesting things are too rare and expensive (AV-21, DE-10, RIS armor), short lived (Droid Invasion) and ridiculously difficult (Corvette)

I am sure it is en route, and I am sure that the devs are upset that their service is not as trackable as UPS 3 business day service... I think everyone needs to stop being so superficial about this (ie. I played for 3 weeks, I am a big shot, give me what I want). It will happen when it happens, and there isnothing any of us can do about it, so stop stressing or you will have a coronary before you even get visited by the "dirty old man" lol.

Yes. The quests would. The path would.

THEY NEVER SAID I'D HAVE TO STAND AROUND LIKE A CLOWN WAITING DAYS FOR SOME DIRTY OLD MAN TO GIVE ME A TICKET TO HIS MAGICAL MYSTERY LAND.

They also never said they wouldn't make you stand around like a clown...

Meaningless doubletalk.

Quite clearly darthrotten you are beginning to annoy a few people, and your recent message edit by a mod would support this. If you cant see a game for a game, I would suggest you stop playing the game. If you're not happy, then leave, cancel your account and go. Vote with your feet as they say... but stop whinging, whining, moaning and complaining about it on here. Its a new publish, with new things to explore and new quests to complete, not least a new path to becoming a Jedi. It is a game of adventure, it is, in my eyes, living up to everything they promised when I bought it. If you simply want a Jedi just because you think you've qualified, done the quests, got theflags then you are sorely mistaken. You have to take your place, like everyone else.If you want instantJedi, thenclearlyStar Wars Galaxiesisn't for you. Try Jedi Knight of a game such as this.An SWG Jediisn't going to be handed to you on a plate, you have to wait, like each and every other person. The Old Man WILL visit you. I dont know when and no one is going to tell you when, no matter how large your font is. If you can't wait *shrug*

The sad fact is, when several people are telling you the facts as we know them, because we've searched forums and message boards and all you can do is reply in huge writing or in one liners with no basis apart from the fact if you dont get a Jedi NOW you are going to sulk. Fine, go sulk, but sulk quietly. Your meaningless messages to this board aren't worthy of anyone's attention apart from moderators and continuing in the way you are is just going to get you banned from here.

I hope you get your visit, (then we'll finally get some peace) and when it comes I hope you're very happy. I then look forward to the posts from you about how a Marksman 1/1/1/1 kicked your a$$ and how wrong this is

Quit picking on people because of spelling please. I hope that people are not ignorant enough to think that only people post here who have english as thier first language. If the only thing people can do is whine and complain about spelling then please find somthing better to do. This thread is for feed back on the publish not biting and snapping at each other. If you can't provide feed back and be kind doing it then please don't say anything.

Look it's this simple this is a game not life and yes I understand that people have spent time and money on this game. However, it comes down to this

if the only problem you have in your life is this game and trying to become a jedi then please change me lives.

hey dev's jsut give everyone jedi that way there will be no unhappy people. Make it likethe realstar wars worldwhere everyone isa jedi there were millions of them dark and light and everyone was force senistive. I mean even the every day joe was force senistive they could move there blankets with the swipe of an arm when getting out of bed they could pull thier toothbrush from across the room and have toothpase on it with out even touching the paste or the brush. Mom and dad could wake the kids without even saying a word. even benji could get his food with out the help of his master.

I thought the idea was that only a select 1-2 percent of the server would even be jedi?

or even find out how to be jedi.

I certainly don't want it handed to me, I want to work for it. I want to do it on my own not have someone else give me the answers.

I want to be able to say I did it on my own with no help and I made it.

You know DarthR... I find that I spend most of my time playing music with friends instead of trying to jump through hoops for the game, I expect my visit from teh old man later this week, but I am not going ot stand out in the sticks for three days, I am going to enjoy time iwth my friends and play like it was any other day. Maybe you are unhappy because you have lost purpose for playing the game. I would suggest you try and find something in game to diversify your sources of fun so that when it takes time for something to happen, you can still enjoy it. Otherwise it would be like waiting in a starport for a shuttle that is three days late.

For the last bloody time: I don't want an instant Jedi, I want my shot at the village. I DO qualify for THAT. I've been waiting now for two days. I suppose when I don't get it on the third you'll still tell me to be patient. Nuts to that and to you.

I agree with you Akimbobo, nice post. I enjoy possibly working with you to earn jedi the right way, the meaningful way.
