well this **edit**ing sucks. thanks alot. i guess youdid nerf it on purpose and are just covering it in up. i paid for my per nerf crates and you are nerfing them. no warn, no nothing. database problem my butt. call it what it is a **edit**ing lame ass nerf.

ALL the guns are getting revamped here, is this really a surprise?


and ALL crates are bugged ATM. I usually drop the crate, pick it up, and it usually works again. I dunno why, or what's doing it, but I now keep 2-3 crates of stims on hand, just in case.


These crates are only an issue because someone said it'd be nerfed, and you all rushed to make 'prenerf' weapons. hehe. Just be thankful they not billing it as an exploit, frankly I'm surprised they haven't yet. It sucks..But that's how the ball bounces. Basically took a gamble that it'd work, and it didn't. PS- my post-nerf fwg-5 does just fine. Just don't bother usin it on tat..Everything is 100% resistant to heat there it seems. lmao.



No I don't have a freakin sig. Just make something up and pretend it's here man. woman. umm...Whatever.

Well - this will probably get pretty toasty - but this is what happened.


Schematics for FWG-5 and others were broken, able to be made with two components where there should have been one. This resulted in weapons that (once enhanced by krayt tissue) landed outside the spec for a weapon of that damage type and certification level.


These weapons were fixed to bring them back in line with the rest of the weapons (the nerf). All existing weapons are unaffected and thus are pre-nerf.


The crates of weapons are not weapons, they are objects that auto-craft a weapon with a set of stats according to the rules of the game. Currently the crates that are supposed to generate "pre-nerf" weapons try to auto-craft, are told by the system that said weapon is invalid and can't exist, and thus don't do anything.


This mechanic is an important check-and-balance to prevent people from making up whatever stats they want on their weapons via exploit hacks.


They are now fixing this so that the auto-craft action now creates a weapon more in-line with the new rules of the system. If they allowed the auto-generate to create weapons out of spec - I'd wager that that would open up a bunch of exploits allowing new creation of extinct weaponry.


Simple facts and fixing a system that was out of whack. It's a game folks - not the end of the world.

It should be launcher pistols and not rocket launchers. As for this its a cover-up to a bug that was developed, if its the case of a fix and the weapons to become modified to fit new schematic standards, then they should have just left the crates alone.


Also don't forget mines, there was a bug that prevented these from being pulled from pre-publish 6 crates.. maybe this will fix also, but atm a ton of upset people with this new decision/fix for the Pre-nerf crates
