ART: The naboo garages are.. shall I say.. too pretty. They look silly. It's a lovely building, truly, justnot garage-y. Give us something more utilitarian and funky-looking.It is bizarre that there is a plate of unscathed glass revealing an empty room, no door, no oil stains, etc. And we can't mess it up ourselves. =(

Functionality: Aside from thevehicle repair bugs,I would love to see this building become a real building with a certification given to Master Artisans. I would like it to be a little bigger so that they can put vehicles and junk out to look at (assuming there is an art change for vehicle deeds similar to DE so models can be displayed, I could swear I read that was coming somewhere). If it were expanded into more of a real gritty grease-and-metal workshop looking building, give master Droid Engineers a cert for them as well. Droid shops look really silly in naboo houses also, but I digress. ;-)

I love the player garages. Nice potential income source for player cities. However, as many have pointed out:

1) They will never be used until the 'auto-repair' bug is fixed. We still have tons of vehicles left out at our shuttleport from people using this 'feature'.

2) The footprint appears to be the size of a medium house. It's huge for such a relatively small structure. Its rather like they took the base lot for a regular city garage and added the graphics for the player city garage on top of it (and possibly they did it this way). Any possibility of paring down the size of the footprint?

Haven't had a chance to check this after we placed our garage the afternoon of the 17th.

If you repair a vehicle it indicates the repair takes place and the money taken.
Later if you store the vehicle and take it out again, the HP amount on the vehicle returns to the original "broken" amount though the red bar on the HUD makes it look as if it's fixed.
When you select the Repair option from the radial menu nothing happens.

This all needs occur in one session.

Reported in /bug too.

I repaired my bike and in 2 minutes, my bike went back to its broken condition.

Is it supposed to work this way? Is it supposed to be a temporary bike fix?

how about now that you can /find garages and player city garages are live, you reduce the level of damage that a vehicle can take before it starts smoking/burning? we no longer need that much notice to make it to a garage, and it seems like whenever my bikes go below 2/3 damage they start smoking, which is kind of annoying. i would suggest moving it to 33%-smoking and 25%-burning.

I am a Master Architect on the Wanderhome server. I've crafted a player garage for our city. These are a couple of observations: 1) the amount of walls used in the construction of the player garage should be three due to the size of it, regardless of the enormous footprint; 2) the notification that you have entered the area of the garage is severely bugged; also when our mayor tried to place our garage there was no clear way to determine the facing of it and as he was in the process of redeeding it to face it the correct direction somehow it redeeded our shuttle port. This is obviously an obnoxious bug.

I hope the devs are logging folks who continually use the shuttle/vehicle fix bug. It adds so much lag to already laggy starports. I haven't had a repair done through a garage not stick since the few couple weeks after vehicles came out, so that's no excuse any more. To continually use this bug is a complete exploit. Please please please stomp on this pesky bug.

And I think the new garages, especially the Naboo ones, are really neat.

It would be tough to nail people using this bug because you can't prove intent. The vast majority of times I drive my vehicle into a city, I wind up experiencing the ghost vehicle bug when trying to store it. The vehicle seems to remain in the game and both the radial on the vehicle and the controller on the datapad show the store option for quite some time. I've even had it where I've had 2 ghost vehicles present andthe 'real' vehicle out. All 3 were mountable and drivable. Given bugs like this, it would be very hard for a CSR to determine that someone was leaving their vehicle with the intent to get a free repair.

Works great. Was surprised my guild city had put one up so quickly. Pulled up and bingo... fully restored and on my way. Great idea.

Ever notice you can't really park in the garage....why? Just for continuity sake and a realness effect let us pull in.

Excellent job on the implimentation, got one. Placed it in my city easily. Works as advertised.

/repeat The shuttle bug is well, a big defeat to this improvement.

I recommend that it be possible to "leave" your bike on another planet. It would be a real rude awakeing for those who use the shuttle bug for a free fix. And Yes I have been guilty of this bug in the past.

I just had this happen myself. I went to the garage in our player city and repaired my vehicle. Everything seemed to go normally, vehicle repaired to max condition and money taken from my account. I stored the vehicle a few minutes later. When I pulled the vehicle back out, it was all the way back to its pre-repair condition. I've repaired my vehicles quite a few times since the patch (publish 7) and this is the first time this has happened to me. Can't really put my finger on anything I did differently, so appears to be an intermittent bug.
