I've already posted my comments about getting the Old Man to visit in the "Path of Reckoning Thread". I've also posted on the known bug of vendors not appearing on the map.

I'd like to bring up a couple other Path to Jedi issues I have. All along, the posted stance of the devs has been that anyone, regardless of play style, should be able to move along and become a Jedi. Now granted, when you get to Jedi, it'll mostly be about combat. However, all non-combatants should have the chance to get to FS and Jedi and get their second character slot. This is how it SHOULD be. Everyone should have the same opportunity to get the same skills and character slots as everyone else. However, what you have now set up with getting to the FS slot and then doing the FS quests to get Jedi/2nd slot EXCLUDE certain play styles.

The new way of "glowing with the Force", ie getting the Old Man to visit, would seem to be based on badges. From what others have discovered in testing, there are certain types of badges that you must have in order to glow with the Force. Among those types are badges that REQUIRE combat - the Warren, the Corvette, Theme Parks. Someone who has only entertainer skills or only crafting skills for example, are basically blocked from ever getting these badges, unless they tag along with a group, standing well away from combat, and hoping they don't die in the process. Now, it may be that there is a way that hasn't been discovered yet that does not require any combat, but I'm just going based on what I've read from others.

Once you get the Old Man to visit, you have to protect the force crystal from Sith - again combat required, and more combat to get past the Sith camp. Again, this may have changed since I lasted checked it out on TC2 to not require combat. I'm not sure. But, if this is still the way it is, entertainers and crafters have to have help. They can't do it on their own.

Finally, once you get to the Village, there are Force Sensitive Quests for Combat, Surveying, Crafting, and Medic. Entertainers are locked out. Nothing at all for them to do to unlock FS trees, yet there are FS skills in their to help with music and dance healing/buffing. Smugglers will have some problems too based on Smuggling skills, but they will usually have another prof that will be able to get through some of the quests.

You cannot block people out of a possible Jedi or 2nd character slot (which could then become a combat player to get Jedi) because of how they choose to play the game on their main character. Please, before too much more time passes, include paths and quests for ALL play styles to become Force Sensitive and to become a Jedi.

Crem Darkstrider - Wanderhome - Smuggler/TK/Brawler/Pilot
Mesca' Phost - Bria - Grand Master Entertainer
(Master Ent/Music/Dance/ID)

Cancelled 7/27/05 - I joined to play Star Wars, not Jedi-BH Wars. You've ignored/gutted/abused just about every other profession in the game, while spending most of your time working on Jedi and BH as they related to Jedi. You've basically killed the game for anyone who doesn't want the glowstick. Congratulations.

well this is grand! someone in guild who unlocked between 9 and 10, still hasnt gotten a visit, another person who woke up early to watch the server to go up and then get online fast did, and he did 30 profs i think, so he should be in the automatic category.

also if your going to up the number of professions you should really tell the people, this going behind the customer's backs is a shady business play. might want to think of giving all the unlockers padawan, screw the waiting, why waste their time when theyve earned it, then you have more room for people to get fs.

its also quite funny, one guy in my guild wished he had known it would be like this a few days ago, that way he coulda skipped renewing his account, another refuses to play any games created by SOE now, and a few others are just too plain pissed off to talk. great going! *claps*

well just think, atleast you made the stockholders of other MMO games happy, im sure their share value will be going up soon!

I attempted to vote in the Bestine election, however neither of the cantidates, nor the govenor spawned. I tried on Bria, and Starsider and sent in a bug report. I smell a conspiracy

If you have a shred of respect left for your paying customers, REMOVE THE AURILLA GATE.

You promised us new Jedi content far all who could meet the FS requirement, but it turns out it's only new content for the grinders.

This is just not fair. How did you ever think that you could get away with this travesty? Remove the gate or face hundreds more cancelled accounts.

I can understand why many are so upset about not getting their chance at the Village today. Remember, if they let everyone in the Village would be a 1 FPS and everyone would be bitching just as much. I was on TC2 when it first went up to test this publish trust me it is no fun driving on your speeder for over 2 hours just to get to the village. Relax everyone you will get there soon enough

No need to track Jedi, bud. Just take the mission and then make your way to the Genosian Cave. Chances are, the Jedi will be there exploiting the over-spawn bug.

This has been a bug since at least TC2 went up to test P10, if not before.

Certain cities [both player and NPC] are not showing up on the planetary map (CTRL+V) in any fashion [the city and all services provided by it, such as shuttles].

Extremely annoying when you want to know where a certain city is. I have not tried to see if it was the same cities that vanish each time or not. Which planet you are on does not seem to make a difference, there are always a few/several cities missing.

2Problems I have encountered so far:

(1) One of my friends unlocked his force slot a week ago (32 professions). He has almost all of the POIs and has done 2 theme parks. When he does /checkforcestatus, it gives him the "strong" message instead of the "glow" message. That means that although he has unlocked, he will not be automatically allowed into the village with the first group. This has to be a bug.

I attribute the bug to the fact that he did 5 professions (including 3 holocron professions) before the game awarded badges for mastering professions, as I can not think of any other badges he is missing.

Either way...unlocking SHOULD = automatic admittance, and that is not happening.

(p.s. disabling the "Submit Bug" feature in the Holocron was a nice touch...I and 3 others were trying to bug report issues we found and it said the system was inactive. Way to support your playerbase on patch day!)

(2) A player city on Dantoonine on Naritus (Confluentes) has TOTALLY disappeared off the planetary map, along with all of its city services (cantina, shuttle, etc.) It was on the planetary last night when I logged off, and is now not listed anymore.

Open Discussion huh? What are we discussing? How screwed we all got? Thats all this post is. No one is responding to our issues they are just posting even more threads about giving them feedback. I believe you have enough feedback right now. We are not seeing the old man because once again Sony lied to us. Every patch equals even more lies. Stop messing with the people that pay your salaries. Let us have what you promised: an equal chance to get Jedi. Oh and one other thing. Why do power gamers get all the benefits in thisgame? Dont they pay the same amount of money per month as the casual gamer? Unless you make them pay more let everyone have their chance at the village. Dont make us wait in groups that we dont even know we are in. No one has a clue when the old man will come or when their group will be up to go to the village. In short STOP LYING!!!!!!!!!!!!
