Argh!
There was no mention of gating people because they didn't grind out professions. This is very frustrating, I thought you may have to limit access to the village initially in order to control things but I specifically didn't grind because in the future there was going to be no requirement for having unlocked professions.
Now the damn grinders still have an advantage.

If you have… You will be granted access to the village… No professions remaining: Automatically qualify 1 profession remaining: Automatically qualify 2 professions remaining: Group 1 3 professions remaining: Group 2 4 professions remaining: Group 3 5 professions remaining: Group 4
Are these holo professions, as in I've done 4 out of 5 so I qualify? Or, are they just professions in general, in which case, I've only done 16 out of 32 and I'm not even close to qualifying? Please tell me the first answer is the right one...

WHAT? I've done 26 professions. Just as many as others who have unlocked. I did NOT instantly qualify.. so you're saying just because I'm unlucky, others with less professions can finish before I can?

Ok, I am rereading this post. it is amazing how lawyer-ese you devs can get in your posts. Maybe I am just slow. but, I will ask in plain english. For those of us that didnt hologrind. But we did do enough badges to get our 'inner glow'. We will have to wait for an indeterminate amount of time to for the old man to visit us? Or to be able to get into the village? Does this mean we have to sit around for an unknown number of hours or days with no real idea of whne this is going to happen? And why werent we told of this before? if we had been informed. Many of us might have not taken the day off to play. If you had spread this word a few days ago. you might not have the 'traffic' issue that you now seem to claim you are going to have. It isnt like this is a last minute thing. The length of this post and the depth of the situation obviously shows this was planned for sometime.

The quests themselves are great but your lack of loyalty to your long term players and customers sucks badly. Some of us have spent just as much time in game as majority of grinders and we got monumentally shafted.
I hear ther clicking of many mice over the cancel button. Yah just better hope JTL is as good as u r building it up to be.

i unlocked post P10 had the message etc so i log on go out into wilderness and sat and waited for old man im still waiting is this a bug and is anyone else experiancing this?

So what you are primarily saying is that since I didn't bother with the holo-grind, and instead played the game I will be barred from entering the village for weeks? So I went to the end of every dungeon 4-5 times on every planet, finished every quest in every city on every planet, made MBH, master pistoleer, bought a house, fought int he GCW, killed and tracked jedi, collected more than 75 badges, hunted krayt dragons, kimo's etc etc etc. and I will be gated immediately. Wow, this game gets worse and worse with every publish. I "played" the game the way it was supposed to be played. I didn't grind professions, I became what I wanted and stayed there and RP'd the heck out of it and now I need to wait so the people who hurt the game the most can benefit. Thanks for all the love

Would you mind letting us know where we are going from here? Perhaps a post on what you expect as far as bug fixes, features, and content to be released to SWG inthe next couple of months? (ie. Publish 11 informationand whatmini-publishes might happen). A rough outline?
Any idea when JTL beta testing will start?

Great to see that so many endless arguments about how to get in the village and how many branches u will have free finished by this post. Wondering if this /check command gives a clue about getting in the village? Is there anyway to learn in which group we are? Thanks for information.

Does this mean that if I didn't do any Holo professions, or don't fall under any of the other catagories, but "Glow" under the new system, I will automatically be visited by the old man?
