Why bother TH???

Mounts don't follow commands, before patch 7 they at least listened to /tellpet with a delay of about 15 sec.
Now they don't listen at all.

You have them do a trick, guess what their mind doesn't heal.
You hit them with a stim, guess what they don't heal.
You feed them their wounds don't heal.

Please explain to me why someone would want a cupa or a bantha or any other mount with problems like this that were known prior to the patch!?!?!? Just ask your CH correspondent Vert He has been hearing about it for weeks.

I love the Bantha. Mighty to ride one and it looks cool when someone comes riding them.

Please give players a reason to use mounts!

One idea would be to give certain weapons a mounted certification so that they could be used with specials while mounted.

As it stands...there is no reason to use a creature mount at this time except for how it looks.

Put a saddle on my Bantha today! It seems to move faster then I expected but I'm VERY happy with the speed it moves. Have same problem as everyone else here, mounts don't follow after calling or dismounting but that has been mentioned before on TC plenty of times. Mine load in after I call them, lay down, and then get back up after a second. After that they just stand there (banta, dewback, giant spat mounts all the same).

Also, shouldn't the bantha make some noises while it moves? We should hear their heavy foot steps as they run. Right now it is like they are wearing some kind of "giant ninja booties" so they give of no sound. I'd also like them to "howl" every so often like the dewbacks, I really like their voices, as long as they don't do it to often. I know the screen shake is a problem for some, but at least give us footprint sounds if not a rummbling screen also.

Course it could just be me, I haven't been able to hear the planetary shuttles for weeks (they come and go without making a sound!).

/hummmm
the only Live issue that has less posts is player garages.

Does that tell you something about mounts?
Like there isn't a great demand for em?

I had a BE-engineered lvl-12 Cu Pa which suddenly became invalid with this patch - unfortunately I hit "adjust level" instead of "adjust stats" (does the latter work now anyway?) and as I have just Novice-CH, I was no longer able to call it and deleted it hence, so: Sorry: I don't have it's stats, but it's HAM hadn't been extraordinarily high... One of my customers (I am BE) is no longer able to call his lvl-7 [!] Cu Pa because it is invalid... I have some Cu Pa- and Bantha-deeds in stock (untamed) but don't dare to use them atm...

TH why don't you tell someone to fixed the damned bugs. and don't be shocked you have know about it for 2-3 weeks now. FIX THE BUGS.

NOONE WANTED ANY STUPID NEW MOUNTS. WE WANTED BUGS FIXED. COMBAT THE BUGS. MAYBE SOE NEEDS TO DO THEIR OWN DAMNED COMBAT REBALANCE AND COMBAT THE BUGS. CLEAR ENOUGH??? LOUD ENOUGH???

TH I wasn't gonna go to Fan Faire but now it will be worth to see each and every one of you SOE types get booed and heckled. Should make for a nice article for multiple gaming magazines.

How about making Creature Mounts worth having by giving a +Terrain Navigation bonus (something like +25 or so)?

As it stands now, creature mounts have no real advantage over vehicles for me.

Uhm.. I thought they already had it.

All my mounts including the new ones still don't follow you even after being asked and the HAM bars don't move when you heal them even though they actually doget healed (I can get the bars to goto the correct levels if I get the pet to do a trick or itgets hit in combat).

This has been happening since Patch 6 and has been reported about loads of times, one of the CSR's thought it was being fixed in Patch 7 but it wasn't to my surprise.

TH, any news on when this will be fixed or at least an update on it in someway? Pretty please with sugar on top...

(cross posted from Vertexon's pet change feedback post)

(1) Pet species (lesser dewback, woolamander, grassland slice hound, etc)

cu pa

(2) Is the pet Bio-Engineered?

no. tamed about a month after release.

(3) Is the pet trained as a mount? (if Yes, please cross-post your issue in the New Mounts focus thread)

yes. that's when he went bad.

(4) Where were you when you experienced the issue?

mos entha

(5) Issue you're experiencing with the pet

pet warps back to a certain location when dismounted. (the location happened to be a spot where i had been attacked a few seconds previously.) pet can't be stored when you're sitting on him because he's out of range. apparently it's because he's still in that certain location because if you dismount, he'll pop back to that spot. and you have to go right up to him, too. he won't obey follow command.

(6) Is the issue repeatable?

i don't know. before i had problems mentioned above I had dismounted after being attacked without noticing an issue, but in that case, the location where we'd been attacked was so close to where i'd dismounted, i wouldn't have noticed the warp.

I don't know if this cu pa mount would follow if it weren't fixated on this certain spot because I didn't try it, but for what it's worth, my old tamed mtn. dewback mount still follows and attacks on command.

By the way, all bio-engineered pets, mounts or not, are no longer showing damage, to-hit, or attack speed in the datapad. Tamed pets still show those stats when you call them and examine them, but they don't show them in the datapad either... but I don't think they ever have. BE pets do not show those stats even after you call them and examine them.

Could we get some consistency and just have all the data show in the datapad please?

Yes, it's been going on for a while now, but not only is there a problem with mounts following, but also with their HAM not regenerating when you heal them. I was hoping a fix for this would be included in the patch (I think it started after patch 6).

Hopefully that gets resolved soon.

As to your question TH, my Banthas are great, no problems with them (Other than wondering if I could ever find a level 10 in the wild) and the Cu Pa's work as well, though they just seem a tad too small to be mounts.

Also, I would like to request either adding grey to the BE's color options for Cu Pas or even better, allow BE's to manufacture a new breed of Cu Pa's called Taun Tauns.

Besides my own personal obsession with achievingthe FSS goal, I love this game.
