Entertainer: Players need to watch a performer for at least 2 minutes before entertainer buffs can be applied.


Doctors Can buff 2 times more powerfull than the most powerful entertainer buff in 16 seconds a stat (5 seconds with skill tapes).


It only made sense that entertainers whose buffs are half as powerfull took 30 seconds, no?

Ah cool, it was my understanding that you had to /setperform on the leader for the others to get a buff. Guess I misunderstood then. Thanks for the clarification.

Why? Doc buffs dont take nearly as long.






it was originally intended to take 10 minutes, but some people figured out how to exploit the system and got it down to 30 seconds...

Also doc buffs require resources while entertainer buffs are basically free.

  • there is no way toselectively /addignore the Barker Droids we will see how the spam works out on live...
  • using /bandflourish with the PlaybackDroid quickly depletes its action pool and should only deplete its batteries
    this really decreases the effectiveness with the droids, because without using /bandflourish the music is just droning and annoying... with using /bandflourish most droids only last a minute or two
  • Playback Droid can be used by any level entertainer... should only be able to be used by novice+ musicians and dancers IMHO this is a minor issue though

Musician buffs should take at least a couple of minutes. Doctors are doctors; we Musicians play horns and keyboards. Doctors inject people instantly; we perform tunes. Turn on the radio and listen. The average tune lasts 3 minutes or so. Songs aren't 30-second injections of music. We're supposed to be Entertainers, right?


Besides, Doctor buffs don't take just 30 seconds. If a Doc buffs every stat, which is typical, it takes a couple of minutes (well, 108 seconds).


Anyway, one question I have is whether the speed-buff will be tacked on to the 2 minute minimum, or whether it will kick in at the 2 minute mark. E.g., suppose it normally takes me 30 seconds to buff. Will the buff kick in at 2:00 or 2:30? Likewise, suppose I don't like to use the speedbuff macro, and it normally takes me 5 minutes to buff. Am I now looking at 7 minutes or 5 minutes? I've asked TH for clarification, but it may be easiest for me to test this with my Master Musician and alts on TC tonight. I'll also try to test the issues raised by Echinacea.

There is one for Corellia that speaks of Sellonians, but has a picture of a Jawa. I have seen it many times, not a one time thing, and saw it last week, so it's still there.

It doesn't have to be "any port to any port", but something that keeps me from having to make 3 shuttle hops from a Corellian moon to Lok would be MUCH appreciated







What moon the only other Planet near Corellia in the Game is Talus and it is one of 2 Sister Planets I can't remember the other ones name. They Chase eachother around CenterPoint Station (the foruth "Habital" zone in the Corelian System), and then there is Drall the home world of the Drall. Right now in the timeline there are large Populations on each of the Planets. And it would goto figure Imersivly that you should be able to goto any place you can goto from Corellia from Talus considering Corellia is closer to there Sun Cor then Talus so you would have to flybye it on your trip out of the system.

As of this mornings patch dancer buffs are working correctly however musician buffs do not work at all, I received a full master dancer/master musician buff this morning (about 15 min before Vass brought the server down) and received a full buff. After the patch no one could receive a musician buff but all had no problem with the dancer buff (note the buffer was the same person).

Tonight while doing the xp grind in NU cantina I noticed a message after stopping then startingplaying musicsaying "You must wait 15 seconds before you can start playing music again." This wasn't explicitly in the patch notes but would definitely break the 30 second buff trick. I have not had a chance to verify the previous post about music buffs being totally broken.

The survey droid experimental values still seem backwards... With a quality of 80 the droid has 5 uses and takes 54 minutes to go from tatooine to lok. With a quality of 21 and 12 uses the droid takes 24 minutes for the same trip. The emails received from both droids are identical (so its better to use low quality resources than high quality ones right now).

Detonation modules are damaging lairs and turrets, but the damage seems off.A droid (which seems to be blast damage from all my other observations) normally does 7-8k damage to each target in range, but when attacking a turret it does half that (doesn't fit in to any armor/resist configurations I can see). Not sure if this is intentional or not.

Also with the detonation modules, if you attack a factional target with them while your covert you will get a TEF but will not do any damage (whether you've got a TEF already or not).
