Blair,


There's still the very annoying audio bug:



  • Mount your vehicle

  • Mouse1 to move forward, let the engine sound spool up

  • Release the mouse, let the sound spool down, but not all the way

  • Mouse1 again to start moving forward for a bit

  • Release again

Somewhere in that cycle of events, you'll get a terrible static/hissing sound coming in to replace the vehicle's engine sound. It's beyond annoying - it's so loud in relation to normal game sounds that it can be painful if you're using headphones. I'm on SB Live with the latest Creative drivers, but I've also seen people report it on Audigy on the Live servers. Seems to be an issue with Creative audio hardware though.


I'm kind of disppointed because I reported this repeatedly on TC and it made it to Live anyway

I got out of X-34 in coronet not sure if I actually made a complete stop before hitting my shortcut key /dismount. On my Radar I saw my vehicle whip away. I tried chasing it. When it hit a building it was simply deflected on a new trajectory and I was unable to catch it. I was able to generate a new vehicle with the same dmg the old one had.



Visit my home vendor in Downtown Honors Keep on Lowca Server - Corellia at wp [2685] [-1260] for resources, Tailored items, as well as other stuff. Shuttle service is available.

its starting to get really annoying when im cruising across the landscape and all of a sudden my swoop bike disappears. Is there going to be something done about this i though you already fixed this problem.

I have experienced most of the aforementioned bugs recently.


Probably the single most annoying one is the ungodly hissing sound they make. I have an SB Audigy soundcard and I assume that it is somehow related to that.


I've had them auto-store on me while I was riding through the wilderness. I've even hopped off, run into a building for 90 sec max, and come back out to find it gone. I swear I didn't leave the keys in the ignition!


Both my vehicle and mount will sometimes throw me about 30m away from where I dismount. It's really disorienting when it throws me past a wall and it takes a few seconds to figure out where I am.

Hum if this is anything like the pet's getting stuck but. Seems to be client side bug. Might be related to disk caching and LOD as you approach objects on the client side.

I actually thought the BWWWSH sound was like a hydrualics system


or something on the speeder...



Until I got a headache and stopped playing to take a freaking pain pill.


I tend to get the noise whenever you "pump", like was said before,


and sometimes when I stop.

Vehicles are destroyed way too easily. I was on Dathomir and had parked my vehicle about 90 meters from a mutant rancor spawn. Then I headed in on foot with mask scent to attempt to get some DNA samples. Well I was detected and the mutant rancor agro'd me. So I burt run to my speeder, hopped on and drove until the rancor stopped folowing me. When I headed back to try again, the mutant rangor went after my speeder instead of me and disabled it in about 3 or 4 hits. So now I'm stuck hjaving to buy a new one because you can't repair them once disabled.

This appears to sound like some sort of overdriven reverb effect that often occurs if you 'pump' the forward button.




DEAR GOD I HATE THIS



everytime i slow down or stop my bike it sounds like a water pipe broke.



Is there a work around?

I ahve experienced the simultaneous dissappearacnce bug too (Player city of draicco on Talus,valcyn) we believe there to be one or more boundaries here that cause this and the invisible person bug too, although in one instance neither or the other person were moving on our vehicles when they dissapeared both at the same time (we were within sight of each other if that helps).

Dont think anyone has mentioned this:


Sometimes i will be off the bike and will left click to Enter the vehicle... however it says "exit vehicle" instead. I click that it says "you cannot dismount at this time" (obviously). I try again and it correctly says "Enter Vehicle".I can be riding about and want to get off the bike. Do the same thing. This time it says "Enter Vehicle" instead of exit. I Click that and it says "You cannot mount at this time". Do it again and it says "Exit Vehicle" as it should.


Other than that same problems as mentioned before. EAX Sound issues and of course the massive warp problem. I have warped 200 metres away from the bike before. Not noticed any particular pattern to the bike disappearences. Seems rather random to me.

When getting off of a vehicle the mount/mount commands work and it states that I'm dismounting the vehicle. I don't mount it, I ride it.


When getting off a vehicle at the rebel theme park, the vehicle drives away on me.

The times I notice my vehicle vanish is when I call up a screen like the E-mail screen or when I hit a boundary like 500m from a city

out hunting on dantooine, headed for the mokk village, and myself, and the other in my grp, both had our vehicles disapear at the same place.....but different times.....about the time of the lag i supose. possible due to a server boundary? this was traveling from the Kunga Cave to Mokk Village to the East. they dissapeared about 1k before we made it to the imperial outpost on dantooine.
