As I understand it, the Be just chooses a skin at the end of making the critter. The species has nothing to do with what ingredients went into making it (though some skins have a minimum level). I have a perfectly good level 7 Bantha I'm looking forward to being able to ride

Ok this brings up a very good question. Full grown at level 7 is kind of wierd for me. If the pet reaches full grown, no matter what level it is, does it reach the regular maximum physical size? I mean large enough to be mounted? I know a level 10 Kaadu can't be mounted until it reaches CL8, which is 80% of its total growth to qualify for a mount. What is the mounting level for Banthas and Cu pa?

I was able to train a Bantha for a friend at level 7 (and yes, they fixed the speed). Not sure about Cu Pa, but I do know at level 5 they weren't trainable.

oki. BE pets are always max size, regardless of HAM. WHy? I dunno. mebbe something for the Art team to do.

And BE assembly is in stages. First, a DNA template is made. this determines it's stats, for the most part, and it's attacks, etc.

Then the BE chooses a creature skin, and uses the desired template, some meat, and some veggies or grain to combine and make the final creature. Different skins take more or less meat, etc, and as such, seem to produce higher stats on average. Not always though, a ,master BE could help you more, but this is the basic process.

Pets need to be 7 or higher, in my experience, to carry a rider. In addition, a pet may accidentally be made Agro, if the DNA for an agro creature is used in the final DNA slot (Aggression). The second to last seems to have a small chance to do the same thing, but the final slot always will make it aggro, and thus, unuseable regardless of CL. (I have a CL8 hurrton I use hunting because it came out Agro by accident. Swapped the ravenous and shallow torton dna in it's template, and bam, aggro.)

No I don't have a freakin sig. Just make something up and pretend it's here man. woman. umm...Whatever.
