Thread: Publish 6 Feedback: Creature Handlers & Pets
Pets are now MUCH harder to tame. As a CH 2/2/2/2 I even failed to tame a freakin kreetle. Creatures that could be tamed after 1 or 2 tries can take 6 or more attempts. Also whether intended or not all babies are now non-aggro.
I am having all similar problems as everyone else. Pet-merge, pathing and autostoring.
Additionally I have two BE pets that were force adjusted. I tried adjusting one down to my non-ch level, and it wouldn't work, so i decided to see what level he would go to if I adjusted him up level instead of down HAM. Well, the problem is that there is no option to see what he would become, he just instantly becomes that level. There should be a screen to show you what you will be getting either way, and an "are you sure you wish to make the changes?" option before you make your final decision. Now I am stuck waiting for a fix before I can even risk changing my pet.

Creature babies are still MIA: as you know from the mail I sent you and the thread/petition I made, there are still a large amount of creatures that are not spawning babies. From ALL the information I have collected since December 16th (patchday) ingame to everything on the CH forum, the following creatures are not spawning babies: frenzied graul, ancient graul, thune herd leader, seething bol crusher, fierce piket protector, slinking voritor hunter, horned voritor lizard, merek harvester, king merek harvester, queen merek harvester, blood-drenched merek king, arachne queen, mantigrue reaper, deranged mantigrue, bloodseeker mite queen, kliknik queen, shear mite queen, surefoot brackaset, rhoa kwi hunter, malkloc bull, bordoks, bols, gurks, snorbals, pharples, and the plains hunter. (and many more)All of those I listed should be spawning babies and not a single one has been found since the December patch when they were all supposed to be fixed. I mean, if an arachne widow can spawn babies, why cant a surefoot brackaset or seething bol crusher? Obviously this is not about stats, but rather about finishing what was started. Maybe the spawn rate code was entered in wrong by mistake? Might wanna double-check that, because this issue is making people quit the profession and sometimes even the game.2. Pets running away constantly during battle (and also following too closely: right on top of us)3. Both
i know of one person on Bria that tamed a Great Plains Stalker about a week before the publish6 patch...

Pets not following (seems to be worse after publish 6)
Pets running off in battle (now the mobs run off too)
Pets not attacking properly
Pets standing on top of their owner along with droids
Specials not working (continuing problem)
tellpet not working sometimes, works fine other times (continuing problem)
I would like to point out that, aside from the specials (since I can't control that, and indeed they don't have any) droids are also having these same problems, post patch, as are factional pets.
I did notice that the factional pets have a much higher instance of these problems, generally showing up as soon as any state affects them (blind, dizzy, bleed, etc...) while droids are seemingly random as to when it shows up. Once it does, the only cure is to store and recall. As I am not a scout, this poses a further problem.
So, what are the chances of me being able to shoot my troopers for insubordination and dereliction of duty?
There are already lots of Jedi's and Bounty Hunters now working together to make experiance and cash. The low level jedi lets his name get on the Bounty Hunter terminals and the BH that he has the deal with takes the mission, he then allows himself to be killed and they split the cash and The Bounty Hunter gets free experiance,,,, any fix on the way such as harsher penalties for when a Jedi is killed by a BH or something atleast,,,

Usinga freshly tamed Womp Rat (baby) I set out to get me some Kreetle Hide. I finally found a Kreetle and immediately spammed a aa a a a a. Nothing happened. a a a a a a a a. Nothing.a a a a a a a. Ahh.. there he goes... Wait a second... he's not fairing to well... ok... /target Kreetle; /bodyshot2; "You cannot see that object". Hrm... ok... /target Womp Rat (baby); /heal; "You cannot see that object". My womp rat died. The kreetle died soon after, after he moved about 3 meters away from the house they were fighting next to. I got myself right on top of both of them and couldn't interact (I think, because of the house) by healing or attacking since I could not see them.

There have been some reports regarding Creature Handlers and Pets.
1. What are your issues?
A) All pets are running away once they get agroed. It gets twice as bad if there are multiple mobs on my pet. At first I thought it was a fluke, but now it happens everytime I get into a battle. I've tried the command "stay", it makes my pet stay for about 4 seconds, then the pet comes over to me and with it 4 angry Vorts!
B) Auto-storing is worse than ever. I would say its 3 times as bad as it was before the patch started down loading over a week ago.
C) /tellpet command is not working sometimes. Very frustrating because all my macros become useless when this bug hits. I have to speak in spatial to get them to follow my commands.
2. What is the Pet description, specifically (type/level, etc)?
A) Its any pet but the onesI was using: Razor Cat (cl 49), Gurreck (cl 50),K. Pack Leader (cl 50)
3. Was it a Bio engineered pet or a tamed pet?
A) First two listed upon were bio eng, the 3rd is a wild tame from Dath
Thanks for your input.
