Thread: Publish 6 Feedback: Creature Handlers & Pets
1. Pets try to stand DIRECTLY on top of you after you call them. I moved left and right, forward and back, and my pets kept following me until I was literally standing INSIDE of them. I've only had this problem after Publish 6. Every single one of my pets also run from things I tell them to attack, now. They'll get up to the target and then turn tail and run as soon as it starts attacking them. You guys gave our pets a case of the "LOOK OUT IT'S COMING RIGHT FOR US!" ![]()
2. I tried this on a Level 20 Bio-Engineered Mott, a Level 17 Bio-Engineered Dewback, and a Level 20 Tamed Mountain Dewback. All 3 did the same thing.

I wish I would have been following the BE forums. I didn't know pet levels were going to go up because of the combat system changes. I have to wait even longer to call my Merek and Graul, now.

Anyhow, I hope this helps.
I am having issues trying to get my pet's stats adjusted so i can use him. I am non-ch with level 10 BE pet, and whenI call himI get the message about his stats are invalid and i get two options, adjust pet level or pet stats. Well i can't adjust level cause he is already at the highest levelI can use. I tried to adjust stats and an error message pops up and it won't let me adjust the stats on my pet so i can use him. So at the current timeI have no pets i can use due to the "fix". I knowI am not the only one asI have talked to lots of people who can't get there pets stats adjusted so they can use them
Pets not following (seems to be worseafter publish 6)
Pets running off in battle (now the mobs run off too)
Pets not attacking properly
Pets standing on top of their owner along with droids
Specials not working (continuing problem)
tellpet not working sometimes, works fine other times (continuing problem)
hmmm issues you ask?
Well, seems like pets started autostoring lately. Also, pets of any cl range/type are now running away alot more. For example: cl 18 Mollted Wrix fully grown, running from durnis, meatlumps, Tortons, NPC's, etc etc.
Same goes for fully grown cl 26 Greater Sludge Panther. This was on my new CH/Smuggler on Valycn.
On my MCH/Master Rifleman on Kettemoor, same type of things happen with my Full grown Toxic Merreck Battlelords, Gurrecks (Now they very rarely ran, till publish 6) and Auto storing or just completly stopping in thier tracks happen so much its almost unbearable to even use pets.
Other issues have to do with commands not working properly, ie, Follow, Follow other, Attack.
Pets now stand ontop of thier masters as if they want to become one with them ala Neo.
This things have been happening to me with both Tamed pets and Bio Pets. I tend to like the BIo Cat type pets so my MCH has 2 cl 35 Gurreck bio pets and same issues.
Also, Pets appear not to be able to follow correctly. My pets specially cat types run behind me sideways and seems like it can barely keep up with me while I am running (not on vehicle).
These are just the issues I have run across, seems like others have these and other issues.

I also noticed that the "adjust pets stats so it will be call-able at this level" option does not work for BE pets. I had to raise the stats on all of mine and hope they didn't exceed my creature calling skill.
The "running away from everything under the sun" thing is the most frustrating of the bugs, though. My dewback got drunk on the coward juice.

Seriously. Whenever I stop moving, my pet is standing on/in my avatar. This happens for BE/CH/non-CH and even babies that I've just tamed. As soon as the "you have tamed a creature" message pops up, the critter runs over and stands in me.
I've noticed 3 things:
1) Pets are standing on top of you and each other, rather than a couple of meters away as they were prepatch.
2) Pets are running far too much, to get them to stand and fight I have to spam Follow/Attack/Follow/Attack. Seems to be the case with all of my pets, again different than prepatch
3) /tellpet seems to be working on and off.
I have an "illegal" cl 10 non-ch BE gurrcat. I can't call it. I get the options adjust level or adjust stats. I'm not going to try to adjust the level because I'm not a CH, of course. So I get an error trying to adjust the stats. I just want to make it legal so I can use it.
2. pet description(type/level): mostly been my rancor(50) sometimes my falump.(19)
3. BE or wild: both were found in the wild

Pathing, Staying on target, Autostoring.

Cowardly Gurreck, CL 15 -Autostoring, Staying on Target (Tends to disengage after less after initial contact)
Cu Pa, CL 11 - Pathing
Female Kaadu, CL 12- Autostoring
3. Was it a Bio engineered pet or a tamed pet?
All three are tamed.

Pets are running around like crazy. Pets are autostoring once in a while.
2. What is the Pet description, specifically (type/level, etc)?
Rancor, level 50, fought a rebel spec officer and it autostored.
Webmaster, level 50 was running while fighting bull banthas and other creatures on Tatooine.
Graul Mauler, level 50 was running while fighting creatures on Tatooine
3. Was it a Bio engineered pet or a tamed pet?
They were all tamed.

On a seperate note, my kimo runs alot prepatch as well as floats around to the creatures when it fights.
