TH, I'm a long time listener and first time poster . My questoin pertains to wookiees andarmor. Now, i PVP very often, sometimes for hours a day and i waswondering if the devs have come up with something in regards to wookiee armor. I am a TKM / Master Brawler/Master Fencer and can take a pretty good beating but nothing likesomeone in full comp can take. I have no ranged mitigation (by choice) nor does my human buddy that i PVP with and he can take blaster fire MUCH longer than i can and we have almost the same template, his armor just sets him above me. If the two of us sqaure off and go TKM vs. TKM i can beat on his comp armor all day with VK's and hardly make a dent while at the same time he is hitting me for full damage. I have thought a lot on this issue and have serveral ideas.

1)Give wookiees a natural armor rating that willcompare in someways tocrafted armor. For one, i think a wookiee should have very high kinetic defense but possiblyvuln to heat. Don't make the vulnerablitystun damage, because thatis a rare type of damage and due to the fact thatit will be a natural armor, the vulnerability should be a somewhat common type of damage. Maybe even a few vulnerabilities like heat/electricity/blast. That would nearlycover a weapon in every classes arsenal.

2) Allow Armorsmiths to craft wookiee armor. Personally i don't like this idea due to thefact that wookiees are supposed to be naturally stronger than other species but if natural armor isn't going to happen then this is the only other option i can think of.

Thanks for listening TH, hope my input helped. If you need a wookiee helperin this issue let me know.

Thunderheart, I posted on last weeks round table, with no response ... there is a serious issue with publish 7s crafting nerf.

I will irriterate At this point on intrepid alone, there are 260 + accounts from crafters that are ready to say bye to SWG if no one will listen to them.

Everyone figures the CSRs and DEVs just don't care and will do whatever they like, I hope this is not true and you guys will listen to the community on this nerf ... PLEASE LISTEN TO THE PLAYERS !

Thunderheart...I was just informed about a change that is coming in a publish concerning items not being able to be sold in packs on vendors. I know I have heard it said that the reason for this is because some people could use this method to deceitfully sell something other than what was advertised. But, I have a business in the game that is 100% custom orders. It is the way I like to do business. If I am no longer able to put my orders in packs with people's names on it, it will severely limit what I can do. If this goes into effect, will you have a method for me to mark an item as sellable to one individual only or someother scheme so that I can continue to do custom orders for people? Also, I like giving my regular customers perks and so I will throw in free items into the packs for them. I would like to be able to continue this practice. Will there be a system in place so I can do this? This would be similiar to the armorsmiths for whom it is very, very beneficial to be able to sell a whole set of armor as 1 package deal. They would need a similiar system.

Anyway, I was just curious if with this package on vendors changes is going to have other changes along with it so that we can continue to effectively do business with our customers.

Thanks,
Jiist

I've been reading the thread since this morning with GarVa.

The team met late last week and we're working on a long post. It should be up some time this week, but its dependent on the folks putting it together.

I have been a fan of starwars since I was 4 years old, and a reader of alot of the post movie books, and even the Galaxies series that this game takes its name from ... and I must say that the devs need to listen to fans more.

It is time to quit thinking about just one thing and start worrying about this resembling starwars, any game can throw darth vader in and say hey this is starwars, but things like :

Hologrinding for jedi : load of crap, luke, anakin, etc, never had to master 18 - 32 professions ... special deeds and quests should unlock your jedi potential.

Jedi : this is a joke right now, I have never heard of jedi slaughtering inocent creatures to be strong, not even the sith train this way. ... I can see rescuing a family from tuskan raiders, etc ... that makes sence, but who am I to think ...

Ah well ... anyways I hope the devs start to listen to players and start to worry more about this being like starwars and less like being a PvP MMORPG all the time, a lot of players are here just because they love starwars ...

I am 27 and in law enforcement, and the only reason I bought this game was because of starwars, and I am on the verge of quitting my 2 accounts if people don't start caring about their customers wants soon.

With the the droid 'stim packs' to keep droids in balance with creature pets. We Must Lose the Armor and/or HAM advantages/differences we might other wise have had. Stat wise Droids = Creatures

Please Dont make Droids Clones of Creature pets in droid costumes!

Droids can be different from Creature pets !

THE ANSWER !

Let stim packs Not be used During Combat ! Give us back our Mediun Armor and more HAM.

The stim pack could use the existing timer/flag that is used for calling/storing a droid

{Easy to Impliment}

Its either that or creature clones wearing droid costumes.

Is the backpack issue really that nasty? Why not make it so that you can look inside containers in trade windows/Bazaars. Im sure the whole backpack issue can wait for such a feature instead of adding the limits you're suggesting.(Items not being able to be sold in packs on vendors.)

Once again:

When are the new pet bugs introduced in publish 6 going to be fixed?

Specifically:

Pets (creature, droid, faction) upon call are 0 meters away from the master.

Mounts no longer autofollowing their master

Mounts and vehicles autostoring at random when not being ridden, sometimes (in the case of mounts, obviously) in the middle of combat.

Pet HAM bars not being updated when being stimmed, doing creature tricks, or being repaired.

It's been over three weeks. When are the developers going to fix the things they broke?

Tazz vonMannstein Baron-Administrator of Corellia, master navigator of Corellia, captain of the Gregarious Gurreck

Sio Babble MBH/MCH/Cabana Boy; master of Tyson, the GNORT OF DEATH

Jeffn Akbar Nerfed from here to Lok MD/MCM

This is the answer to the question we've been asking now for months? We post constructive solution threads, no answer. We have a protest on Bria server, not a word (not even to admonish us). In November he posts a smidgeon of info on wookiees on an outside website interview. No posts to us wookiees. Nothing. Until this light post and then he answers to the degree of "well I'll be meeting to talk to the Devs later, should be a post". Has there been ANY communication on this issue. Wookiees certainly don't know because we are not worth a post by any SOE employee. Oh, wait. We caused a server wide announcement to leave the Theed starport area. Guess that's the communication with wookiees that they can accomplish. He's already dropped 2 posts answering Jedi FSCS questions, but a species of the game deserves squat. Thank you. We feel the appreciation and I'm sure it's returned back by all wookiees...
