This delay totally negates the multiple weapon lines for BHs and Commandos. It also makes it a moot point to dabble in any other combat tree for offense.


Thanks for taking this issue to the devs and fighting for us on this issue. It is very much appreciated (and sorry for flipping you guys off last week).







For Christs sake, who drove the devs to punich the whole community which such a poor manifestation of a lack of creativity !


Whats the problem ? As far as i understand, it'sDoT-Weapons and Jedi-Robes, right ?


Well then implement a delay on these specific items for u n e q u i p p i n g rather then for all items for equipping ? Is it really so difficult to find non-destructive additions instead of mindless nerfs ?????

Jedi Visiblity


Jedi should be removed from the terminals after a death resulting from a Bounty Hunter mission until they build up more visibility. This should be done for both story and balance reasons. Story: The Jedi died due to a successful Bounty Hunter mission. For all anyone knows he or she is dead until someone sees the Jedi alive, cloned and using the Force again. Balance: As it stands, a Padawan can die to a BH on a mission, then die again just minutes later to another BH on a mission, without encountering any PCs or NPCs in between deaths. This is not only rediculous, but results in xp loss issues (see below).


Jedi xp Loss on Death


MUCH better than perma-death, but still with problems. A low-mid level Padawan can currently lose as much xp per death as they can gain in 2-3 hours of hunting. Bad enough in itself, but couple this with visibility and BH missions being the way they are, not to mention a certain exploit, and a Jedi can lose more xp in a long day of hunting than they gain. In the extreme you have poor Padawan driven hundreds of thousands of xp into debt due to an exploiting BH who cries on the boards about an almost penalty free death at the hands of a saber-throwing, force-running Jedi Knight. Shoot, where did I put my violin...?


My Jedi Diary, Entry 1


Starting Jedi xp: 298k

Log in on Wednesday, my character in the middle of no where, and ready for hunting. Robeless and Lightsaberless, I ask a friend to come buff me, careful not to use any Force powers in his presence. Time to head out and hunt, solo and ungrouped. 3 hours and 15 minutes of no PCs or NPCs and some decent hunting.

3:15 of hunting: 298k + 276k = 574k

On the way to log out (in the middle of no where), killed by a Bounty Hunter on a mission. The creature mobs must have reported me and increased my visibility.

Death by Bounty Hunter on a mission: 574k - 230k = 344k

I log out with the intent to perservere on Wednesday.


My Jedi Diary, Entry 2


Starting Jedi xp: 344k

Log in on Wednesday, still in the middle of no where, and ready for more hunting. Lightsaber, robes and powers hidden, I am buffed by the same friend. More solo, ungrouped hunting. A little under one hour of hunting and no PCs or NPCs later, killed by a Bounty Hunter on a mission. Must have been the creature mobs again.

One hour of hunting and death by Bounty Hunter on a mission: (344k + 82k) - 230k = 196k

/sit

/logout


Total Jedi xp gain for 4:15 hours of hunting over 2 days: -102k


Whether this system was implemented for the purpose of "population control", "exploit control", to make Jedi "challenging", or a combination of the three, there has to be a better way. This current system is only frustrating and a waste of time, and something new needs to be devisedso that it is enjoyable for all players, Jedi and non-Jedi.


I'm not againstJedi asBounty Hunter mission targets, Jedi TEFs or Jedi rarity. In fact, I'm all for them and believe the help maintain the ambiance of the game. I'm only against the possibility forJedi perma-death, or the waste of hours and hours of hunting (or worse) due to death and cloning xp loss under the current system. Jedi is not enjoyable if you cannot progress.

ssue: grouped people cannot help a jedi when attacked have to sit there and wait for the jedi to die, and then get ganked themselves

Instructions on how to recreate the bug:
yesterday I was helping guy learn how to play, got tracked by a BH, fine. BUT WHY COULDN't I attack him after he attacked my jedi. my jedi got ganked. Then he turned around and ganked me, and I couldn't do ANYTHING about it. 1st hit in pvp always wins, I couldn't get a tef to attack him even through healing the jedi, but he could attack me first. **edit** kinda **edit**e is that.

about weapon and armor delay. DO YOU THINK YOU COULD JUST BEAM that crap on. jesus you're putting on armor, and or dropping a weapon and drawing another. it takes TIME to do this,. you can't do it instantly.

Thats not completely true, you can kill jedi but not really high lvl jedi. I have killed 8 jedi so far. Its just then you goagainst a jedi that is really high in the skill tree that makes them almost impossable. For instance, last night a jedi blocked 95% of my shots. I have a GEO pistol that does 345 damage in 2.2 secs. Whatfew time that i did hit him, i was hitting him for 69 damage, Whats up with that! He wasnt even buffed. LOL.The jedi blocked 95% of my hits, but when i do hit him it does 5% of the damage that the weapon is suppose to do. Seems that the only real way a bounty hunter can take on a high jedi is with detonation driods, and im not talking about using just one, more like 5-7 of them. If you survive pulling that many out. Its not worth it, 5 driods cost about as much as the bounty on that bad-ss jedi. I'm sticking to hunting jedi padawan. To keep them from geting up the skill tree.

Hi there.


I am not sure where it all went wrong. I have filed CSR tickets and bug reports. I have spoken to my friends and they have this problem where Green Consideration colored creatures aand blues are killing us. I havent gotten any answers out of the various people. I have also contacted customer support. I know I am not alone, because I also spoke with a friend of mine and she has the same issue. When is this gonna be fixed

Make sure you're not grouped. If you are grouped with other players or pets, the rating of opposing creatures is determined by the level of your group, not your player rating. Getting a large group of TKM's together on Dathomir would make Bull Rancor's look light blue.

Ok, Here's my 2 credits:


I think that the delay in weapon swithing and armor donning is, in terms below my usual mode of communication, retarded. I am a TKM/Pistoleer/Smuggler, this delay has hurt my ability to PVP immensely, and has made it near impossible to take out large groups of medium level mobs. I think that this is a very bad idea. The issue is that when I pull out my pistol to shoot the marksman that is running away from me with a Lowblow, it takes a few seconds for the weapon to come out...then the shot goes off , they get knocked down...but by the time I am able to switch back to my Vibroknucks, the opponent is back on his/her feet and running again. I have achieved nothing. I have the healthshots...but the dot on them is so slow and low, that all they are is a visual effect. Most of the other pistol shots are either broken or virtually worthless in pvp combat. But, guess what? TKM has limitations on doing any damage besides kinetic. Before the publish, I could work around these challenges..but now? I am very dissappointed in this publish for this reason.

Issue: Buff Icons will not stay after a game crash/reboot/game close-restart, this applies more importantly to doctor buffs, once you reboot for any reason after coming back to the game there's no way of telling how long your buffs will end because all the buff icons will clear out of the buff window.

Instructionson how to recreate the bug: Buff from a doctor or food/drink buffs then reboot-relog and bye bye buffs icon status/timers. (This is probably an old issue, happens a lot to people that live in cities and towns that don't provide high speed connection - dialup disconnections)

Auto-Cloning upon loading back in after game crash.


Went LD during a fight with some DB mobs...sucks but sh!t happens...a friend i was grouped with came to my location and waited for consent from me.


Once i finished loading back into the game...i see myself cloned and in the nearest facility, 200k exp lost and the only answer i get from the CSR is that they cant confirm it.


please look into this bug, as the CSR says there is no known bug regarding it...and please..find a way for a player to /report the issue similar to EQ and have someone with the ability to view it give thier input on it.


make these types of issues confirmable, and fix auto cloning!

after all I am thinking that the whole Jedi thing is taking overhand ! the Game is screwede up ! and may (like myself) are thinking of dropping the game and play something else ! this game is dead !!! and even if you bring out JTL this game is only directed to become a D**m Jedi ! this was not the original idea of star Wars in a beginning! and it should not be that way ! please if a Dev reads this don't go only for the mayority of kits out there and make Jedi easy I don't would like to see 300+ peeps out there running arround with a "Light-Stck" adnn yelling "might the force be with ..." I really loved this game , but all what I se is people leaving the game and play KOTOR or others ! please don't destroy this game by making it JEDI only !!!! BH is Nerfed why because some padawan were crying about teh bh anf it was not possible to become a Jedi ! so what did SOE nerfed the BH , now some BH became also TKA wheat happen is they are (SOE ) thinking about Nerfing TKA well ! where are we going ! I think everyday more about (as so many ) of leaving the Game

Cradossk the Warlord...for those who remembered. This game once has captured my heart. It was truely amazing, I had so much hope for this game. I am not mad at this game, but I am truely, sad. Its so sad that this game had such a uniqueness but it is dying. GCW was the best pvp ive experienced in any game, but since there is no GCW anymore, I can no longer play this game. Goodbye Chilastra. Maybe things will get better.
