What I don't understand is why this wasn't communicated to us. I understand the need to keep certain aspects of the new system mysterious but the Dev team could have made this public and avoided a lot of angry people.
I apologize if somebody else has raised this theory but there are way to many post for me to read through. I appreciate any postive feedback.

I agree that is was kinda communicated but not in a way that anybody fully understood. If my theory is correct then it should have been stated that NOBODY would get a visit from the Old Man the first day. They were vague as usual and the boards reflect that.

Your just being silly now, also it was days a few posts ago, now it's months??
You could very well get your visit tonight, in 10 minutes or indeed 2-3 days...why not just wait. sounds like a good idea to me. As TurboXwing said, pub 10 has been live for 24th (ish), that's not 3 days!... (just incase 3days is 72 hrs)

I say days because that is the minumum, ASSUMING I'm in the automatic group despite not being a hologrinder, but Blunderheart will not say. That's why I want him to clarify the situation. I was glowy when I logged on yesterday, logically I should be one of the first in line, but I just don't know. Am I behind the hologrinders? How far behind? What group am I in? Does my glowiness count for anything? Do I have days to wait, or months? I DON'T KNOW because he refuses to clarify.

This is wrong, people where contacted on the first day...just not everyone was contacted. the village would have been over run if everyone was contacted.
I haven't seen a single post saying anybody saw the Old Man yesterday. Do you have confirmation?
