Yes making the models for the minuature tie fighter and x-wing making the correct textures and aligning them onto the models probably took more than a millisecond.Oh btw, a millisecond is a fraction of time so i think your previous statement is somewhat flawed.

sooooo.. if we've been here for a year or 18 months (ahem) does that mean we get the 3 mth 6 mth and 12 month and another 6mth ... or 2 , 3 month rewards.... what kind of combinations are we talking about here?

It is for only one item. It will not affect weapon sales at all. I am pretty sure most will be used on a very good looted weapon (or with very good looted components). Also people change professions all the time so then they would need another weapon anyway.

Maybe...unless you run up against something that is effective against that damage type. If you're a melee fighter then one weapon is all you need. If you're ranged you would probably have several weapons of several damage types to fit the enemy you're fighting. Plus there's a CU coming up which may or may not change everything.

Remember, all this talk of "only needing one weapon" is based on SWG pre-CURB. That very well may change.



I support removing combat classes if keeping them in results in a "dumbed down" game

SOE isn't the ones naming their characters stupid names and running around saying "I pwnd j00" Those things are more anti-Star Wars than anything (ps..I'm NOT saying you do those things..just illustrating that the things that kill the Star Wars feeling the most do NOT come from SOE but from the idiot players.

that may be, but I dont know what this CU will be like, so I can only talk from the expiriences I have now.


And noone knows when it will hit live it could very well be yet another ½ year before we see the CU.


Yes ranged people need more than one damage type, but melee people are half the marked and taking them out is sure to be something that will be noticed. Id like to know that the devs are at least considering this and dont make hasty decissions without reflecting upon the impact onthe player controlled economy.

Couple of updates:


  • The self powered harvester is actually a kit that can be used on any harvester. We will update the Veteran Rewards page to reflect that.

  • Still looking into how the anti-decay kit works with powerups and PSGs.

Can we also look into using the anti-decay kit on pearls and crystals? Honestly, its the only real insurable stuff jedi care about, besides some SEA clothes.

Can you tell us if the "at home" rewards will have any other type of use besides just an added item in the house?

I am guessing they are for decor only...but it would be nice if there was some sort of functionality with them
