Thread: Publish 6: Released Wednesday Morning
- Is there any plans on giving Jedi a mechanism by which they can check how many undecayed deaths they have in their death list?
- The death decay system to me seems vague. Can you verify this: Whena Jedi is killed, a death is added to a undecayed death list that each Jedi has. The death is removed from that list exactly 7 days after it was added to the list. Therefore, if a Jedi dies 3 times in the same day, all three deaths will decay a week from that day. Any death above 3 (or 4 or 5 for JK or JM) bears consequences of skill loss. This is what I gather the system is from the wording of what has been put forth so far. Is this correct?

I never thought I would complain about a Publish being early.....But, I was anticipating the publish being tomorrow and was going to do a little house cleaning tonight. As it stands now, I have a hundred or more crates of pet food that are completely worthless.
Let me explain....yesterday a crate of "Pet Food" had 25 stacks of travel biscuits with 9 charges per stack (25x9=225 uses per crate). Multiply this by the 100 or so crates I have in inventory for my vendor and you get around 22,500 servings of Pet Food. With the release of Publish 6, the 9 charges per stack has been replaced with a single use item. So now a crate of 25 travel biscuits that before had a total of 225 uses...now has only 25!
Hmm....let's see....beforePublish I had about 22,500 servings and after patch I have 2,500 servings. What a deal.
Now that I have vented and feel a little better, l suppose I should ask my questions. ![]()
In the past, there was a situation where the same thing happened to stacks of food items after an update and there was a subsequent patch to "re-stack" the items. Is there going to be a similar hot-fix done to restore the stacks of food items that were affected by Publish 6?
Thanks,

Correspondent 1: The Imperial players have some issues with the current update. They find it unfair that as members of the military they are subject to contraband searches. And the penalties for carrying contraband is just too harsh. I agree with them, and think that something should be done to reduce the penalties or get rid of them period.
Devs: Hmmmm, you have a point. We didn't realize that Imperials would be so negatively impacted by this.
*Devs Huddle, whispering can be heard*
Devs: We agree with the GCW Correspondent. The penalties against Imperials is too harsh. We will remove them for high ranking Imperial Officers. Stormtroopers will now Salute them instead of scanning them. Does everyone else agree with the changes?
Correspondent 1: That's great! EU has always supported the fact that the Empire's Eilite are a bunch of Back-Alley Drugggies. I'm sure the Imperials will be happy to hear that they are now above the law! And hey, this may even increase their population a bit. Looks like you hit 2 birds with one stone devs way to go!
Correspondent 2: Yeah, sounds pretty good to me. Way to increase the GCW presence in the game devs!
Corresponden 3: Yeah, Nice Job Devs!
Correspondent 4: Yeah, sounds like we all like it.
*the Smuggler Correspondent starts to talk from the back corner of the room, quietly at first*
Smuggler Correspondent: Well.....uh....actually.... doesn't this hurt Smugglers a little bit? I uhh... mean... is it fair to give players the skills of a profession?
*room gets quiet, as all the correspondents and the Devs look to the back corner*
Devs: Hey! Did we say you could talk back there?
Smuggler Correspondent: Well actually... I uhhh.. Well....
Devs: No N00b! We didn't. Now **edit** and sit down, **edit** and here we thought you'd be grateful you got anything at all, give someone an Inch, and they want a mile. How rude.
Devs: Alright, so it looks like we're all in favor for this change *Devs eye Smuggler Correspondent menacingly*
*correspondents all nod their heads*
Devs: Great, We shall let the community know our decision. The meeting is over. The Devs have spoken!
*A massive Gong is struck, and the correspondents file out of the room*

In the publish notes it says:
"Stormtroopers will occasionaly enter cantinas and harass players."
Is this for player citie cantinastoo? If so that would be really cool.
The scan teams don't enter player cities, just the NPC cities.
And anyway, since when were actual players in player cantinas? ![]()
