Greddy, I have every badge available to a rebel, minus all the profession ones. I have been playing since a bit past launch and chose not to holo grind. Gating me to having access to the village is wrong plain and simple. I am glowy, I should be getting my visit now. Yet I have to wait for players who are 2 months old who had no life and simply grinded most of the professions to finish their phase before I get to even start. Not to mention I am in the last group, since I have only mastered 4 professions (those being out of interest). That to me sounds a bit unfair..they do not deserve any more credit beyond the free unlocks, especially when it means a majority of the player base (who did not grind) will be waiting for them. And if the devs were so concerned about too many people in the village, why didn't they instance it per player or group of players? And what happens come phase 2 of the village, everyone should be granted access to the village come then, and everyone will flood the village the same way they are trying to stop it from happening now. They going to gate me from entering phase 2 too? When does it end?

i have been playing this game since july 5 03. when the first jedi was unlock we all learned you need to follow the holos. well my first holo said dancer. i said **edit** you. i wasn't going to do a dancer prof as a hologrind so i decided not to yet. then when i was going to start the hologrind and be a cow following the herd you said the system was going to be changed. i was like cool i am not going to have to be a dancer. so now i have to wait for my chance to have a visit of the old man? well i have no reason to play tonight cuase i only have master about 11 prof over my year of playing and i didn't follow the first holo so i don't know if any of those 11 where part of my holo.
the fact that you know explain how prof ties in to getting a visit of the old man has screwed alot of players that felt we should get a chance to start on the jedi same as everyone else.
i thought the prof grinders wouldn't have to go thru the quest part as much as those who didn't grind, and not this they get to start first and we have to wait.
bad mistake. but we know you don't give a **edit**. have a goodday.

TH this is killing me,, im glowing ive played since launch and choose not to grind, ive started my character over 3 times just to make it more interesting with this last character i did all of the game content i could just to keep me occupied till these quests came out... now i find out i am in an imaginary group that may have to wait several months just to talk to the old man...
The only thing left for me to do is login and sit outside the fog everyday when i have time and wait for a visit from the old man... This is rediculous... there has to be another way... make more villages put one on each planet or something that will keep teh traffic down i know its not exactly a perfect fix but if we deserve to progress at the same rate as everyone else if you do this the way it is planned then by the time im an initiate there will be about 200 masters per server then how am i supposed to progress if i have to kill jedi to get rank? its lose lose...

OK TH,
Let me get this straight.
I am glowing and the force is with me, but yet i only mastered 14 professions did 3 holo's before silent and now i have to wait longer?
Is this right?

and all poi's i have 80 badges when will i see the old man and what gruop am i in plz

dear sony,
ppl are getting frustrated is because your not telling us anything
sony is one of the largest corporate companies on the planet, if your bosses can pay "robbie williams"80 million to do frank sinatra impressions for four years, im sure they can afford to employ some staff to answer our questions:/
it just seems that youve ripped ppl off and are now keeping quiet,just like the slicers that run off with your armour at starports,
sorry to moan ,but this game has cost me £30 to buy/ £120 to upgrade pc to play/ £15pcm to play/ £30 internet connection pcm/ and one girlfriend ,
and you still wont give out any information: in the u.k we call this fraud/obtaining monies by deception

The huge big giant question is why didnt you tell us this like yesterday? How many people (including myself) do you think took a vacation day for this? How would you feel in our position?

A friend of mine unlocked right before publish 9. He has a jedi and everything is fine. He has over 100 badges, has all his master boxes done, and his main has an inner glow of the force. That means he's eligible for a geezer visit. By the stats TH posted, that means he's in the group that gets automatic access to the village.
So what you're telling me is... people like that get a jedi, automatic first dibs on the village, and the rest of us get to wait longer? You're telling me he gets his jedi plus a nice bonus treat and we get the shaft?
You guys didn't think about this gating system too much, did you.

I have done 27 professions, and I am glowy on kettemoor, enough of this "secret" crap how do we know where we qualify? If you are glowy are you Auto qualified for entry or are you still not qualified for another week?
Now we want to know? I think keeping it secret is kinda cool... but now alot of the cat is out of the bag

yea... super game... you should rename it to "Waiting Galaxies" ... you have to wait at starports. you have to wait in cantinas becuase you cannot gat rid of you'r battle fatigue otherwise. yeah cool. then you have to wait for respawn times when you want to make some quests (like the respawn for the disks in the warren). fine... then you fight your way through the geonosian dungeon and guess what. you have to wait until the aklay respawns and some camper lost their interrest...
and now... praise soe ... we have to wait until a unknown number of groups have finished their path to jedi... thanks.
especially thank you for let us know on wich group we are, so we can estimate when our turn is...
it would be cool if someday we get a game wich we can actually play instead of just standing around waiting for something to happen wich allow us to get a step further to our goal. (and yes. the goal to become a jedi is as legitimate as any other goal someone may want to accomplish).

For those of you that say "just play the game" I submit to you that I HAVE been playing the game. I started in November, 2002 during beta 2. I have PvP'd,I have grinded a little bit,I have PvE'd.I have done EVERYTHING there is to do in this game, aside from Jedi. Now to be told that I have to wait even longer to start the FS quests is a slap in the face.
