Issues:
Twin crystal conversion. I was expecting damage crystals, and glad to see it... up to a point. The point was when I tuned the crystal and saw what'd been done to it. Two crystals, one force cost -7 and one force cost -5, converted into force cost -1 and force cost 0... This fits in with:
Lightsaber conversion: I broke down a very good 5th (all pearl) saber, and got back 4 pearls that were nassssty. I'll provide stats when I get home, but I was so horrified I put the -9 pearl saber on the shelf and refuse to convert it until I get some assurance that I'll get something useful out of it. My fear is: even if it's acknowledged that there was no fix for pearl conversion (the punchlist said 'we're doing our best on this issue' or words to that effect), if I don't have the saber anymore (and conversion eats it, so I wouldn't) I'd have no way to actually get my pearls FIXED when/if a fix becomes available.
I'm still unsure why a jedi/smuggler can't slice their own saber. even if they're not tradable, but I wrote it off to 'balance'.
Still no 'armor-like' stats on the robes, thought the jedi I converted was lucky enough to have enough points to get xxx4 saber, and lightsaber toughness, so I'm not dying instantly. When buffed at least.
Force regen is still dog slow compared to the rate you (can) use it.
saber 0044, novice defender, 1000 enhancer, novice healer, novice powers, I'm using it up far far faster than I get it back (just on saber specials) even with the robes worn. This is without using speed1 (1000 enhance), since I can't actually see any effect when using speed1. I presume this is a balance issue, but the length of time to fill the force pool once drained feels completely excessive when compared to any 'normal' downtime incurred in conventional groups (even counting getting battlefatigue burned off, which I ALSO have to do).
Loss of all of the clothing slots HURTS. No sockets on the robes, can't wear a shirt under them, loss of backpack and cloak/coat slot, it was a nuisance during the TC2 test, it's bad now. I understand why Jedi can't wear armor, I fail to understand why the robes were designed as incompatible with just about everything that could actually differentiate appearance that's not a hat.
Lack of backpack functionality also hurts (though a jedi doesn't need to carry much, the endless camping of spawns for crystals generates a lot of sellables like clasps, leather, rancor teeth, whatever). During the test, it was mentioned they might make the robes themselves wearable containers since Jedi are constantly pulling stuff out of their pockets. This should be done sooner, rather than later, with the number of things a jedi might reasonably need to carry in place of armor (high damage, bad force cost crystals to switch out for damage without specials, low force cost crystals for when you need to use specials, up to 12 of each for three sabers, the sabers themselves, etc).
Bazaar interface changes were mentioned by JustG, but just reiterating here that it makes it critically painful to browse the commodities market when you can't see that it's 'polymer' and '100 units' from the top level display without pulling 'detail' on every single line... Ow. Ech. Bleh. Make it stop.
Now that publish 9 is live, can it be explicitly said how 'rerolls' are handled? If you decide your jedi's race isn't right for them, are you still guaranteed the character created in that slot will be at least a 24FS+1novice Jedi on recreation?

HOLY SMOKES SO MANY PROBLEMS
I just want to know exactly....what was fixed, besides the jedi...?
"Many hotfixes in the future there are" -yoda
Ahh yes, please lower the time of switching weapons in combat to like 5 seconds, how it is now is way way to long, by that time THE BATTLE IS ALREADY OVER OR YOU DO NOT NEED THE WEAPON ANY MORE CAUSE I'M DEAD (like BH is)!!!

I can say one thing for SOE, they are consistent.
I played Everquest for almost 3 years and finally quit. I was tired of the poor customer service, old bugs not being fixed, all Dev time spent pushing out one buggy expansion after another, etc. etc.
I looked at all the new MMORPGs out right now and I decided to give SWG a try (even though its an SOE title) and guess what; Its EQ all over again.
I've been reading all the complaints about the latest publish and all I can do is shake my head and laugh. Everyone hear should realize a couple of things:
1.SOE is only in this for the money, not to make anyone happy. As long as they can attract new players to replace the ones leaving then they are happy.
2.Everquest has been running for years and it still has glaring bugs, unbalanced PVP and major time sinks. don't think for a minute that SWG is ever going to be fixed.
3.SOE cares nothing for continuity or storyline. Anyone from EQ can attest to that. The Jedi revamp is nothing more then a way to attract more paying customers.
4.Do not invest too much of your life into this game. If you are not having fun then is it still a game? Don't make the mistake of continuing to slog through a game just because you have already invested so much time into it. There are many other games out there.
As for myself, I'm gonna keep playing until I stop having fun, then I'm off to the next MMORPG. After this experience I doubt it will be anything from SOE.

For Armorsmith:
Shouldn't the clothing/armor crafting tool be able to make Armor Upgrade Kits again? Seems it was removed when you all "fixed" the crafting tool kits from being able to make every item..mainly the Weap/Droid/Gen tool kit. The AKU is part of Misc and that no longer shows for Clothing/Armor tool kit =(

Using the Bazaar or Vendors now to purchase Resources SUCKS!
Why would you change this? Do you sit around all day and try to think of things to make mundane tasks more difficult and time consuming.....
Hmmm, how can we make the game less fun today? Nerfs are getting old - lets make shopping more annoying?
Every thinkof running this by TC first? I HIGHLY doubt any of them would have approved of this change. Who would?
CHANGE IT BACK PLEASE!

To those who think the TEF change is bad: I agree that it sucks that it allows twits to pull their sabers and wave them indiscriminantly, but that's generating lots of visibility (theoretically). I trust that there are BHs out there crafty enough to take advantage of this in spite of the perceived difficulties currently with the BH profession. Plus perm-overt at Knight level is a reasonable balance for this, and lack of TEF while grinding will alleviate a good deal of ganking for us lowly padawans.
Unfortunately, Padawans and lower are the only targets we actually have a decent chance against. But they've lowered the payouts to the point where many of us won't find it worth the time. You'll be safe regardless. Knights are nearly un-killable to us unless we get *really* lucky.
Also, most of our missions are so bugged, we couldn't find you if we wanted to.
This isn't an anti-Jedi gripe or anything - I hope the new system is cool for you guys after all the work you did to unlock.

ALSO
* BAZZAR - RETURN BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS
* BH PAYOUT - FIX SOON!
* BH XP REDUCTION - WHY? THER IS ONLY SO MUCH XP A BH CAN GET!!! ( JUST STUPID, NOT IMO BUT FACT)
* ARMOR DELAY - COULD CARE LESS
So what are you trying to say? I hate it when people aren't clear in what theya re trying to communicate. Also here's a link to the NHL's Washington Capitals. You simply didn't have enough caps in your posts.

JEDI ISSUE:
why not implent a filter which allows to turn off a whole charcater (evev the charcater itself). so i will just have a ignore list of 200 jedi and i ll be happy
This is a game play "preference", not a "technical" Live Issue. If you wish to be a troll, then please refrain from any further pollution in this thread where we need a focus on broken code.
