Thread: Feedback: Jedi Bugs and Issues
I am one of the TC players that got flagged for padawan status. i just ground out 80k jedi exp over the past 3 days only to find out that there is no way to train a new novice skill box (have lightsaber, wanted to pick up defender), either through the NPC trainers or from other players. I don't think I could stomach grinding out an additional 120k jedi exp before gaining any additional force or regeneration bonuses. I am going to sleep now.

(3) All force powers worked once i logged out and back again
(4) The Bug report function does not work.
(5) I can't dismount unless i type /dismount, radial does not work. Ok to mount but not dismount.
(6) The crystal situation still is a problem. We still have to find them on NPC's that means they will be tradable like b4. They will get sold untuned and an economy start again on them. The jedi must be able to get them only. no other toons should loot them, then no economy, also we must get an idea how to get them as they are vital to jedi progression.
(7) when using force powers creatures and npc seem to be able to dodge them, i had lightning dodged 5 times in a row on a dragonset, used up 2500k in powers without once damaging it. These are not like a sabre which is pysical and can be seen all the time. The dodge on powers should be reduced.
(8) Some people complain that Jedi is unbalanced. JEDI should be the most powerful single type of toon i the game. Check the book, movies and comics. A jedi is suposed to be the ultimate warrior and ultimate centre of power. Be it for good or bad. A single Bounty Hunter or group of Master Sword and TK should not take one down easy. Check ROC movie, Jango Fett only just ecaped from Obi and Windo did kill him with out much effort.
(9) I know that the DEV's stated that the stats on a sabre will change, be reduced, but the speed has decreased a lot too, also the 5,5,5 hams no longer exist, my 4th is 53.45.36,but they do not seem to change the toons hams when fighting. It is a bug that they do not reduce like when you are a TK the mind bar drops quickly unless you have a Brandy buff or is that a side benifit of no armour.
(10) On last thing we need clarification on what generates visablility. In a moive, book or comic a JEDI looks like anyone else until the use a Sabre or Force powers in public or at least with in view of others. We should not get it if we are on Yavin miles from anyone and a BH gets a mark on us beacsue we used a sabre which no one saw.
After more testing I will wright more.

(11) If you stack a force powers you get the xp but you do not always get either a animation or more important you do not get and function. I mean that if you stack lightning, weaken and HIT3. You will get the xp for each, but only the animation for lightning and not for the other 2 and also no stats reduced on weaken and no damage on HIT3. Only the ligthning gets any benefit. I have to wait until after each move is compeled until I perform another action.
well, the new force powers makes u able to afk macro really easy in 2 or 3 weeks up to knight...
im not going to say im going to do that,.. but umm some will. turn on shields,.. turn off shields, force run, meditated, turn onshiedls turn off shiedls and so on...
ok true, if u get that high, maybe u dont need to macro anymore... but u can chose a skilling template.. then macro... then go for ur real template.
Combat:
someone said offensive forcepowers are not powerful enough.
my experience as master lightsabr and almost master enhancer... using force feedback and force absorb..
cant beat someone with choke and lighning. i had a saber and the oponent had none... i couldnt barly scratch
him, and he took me down with choke and lighning real fast... feedback and absorb didnt work well
so.. thats only my experience. well true, im not used to all these new skills yet and have to get into them
first.
ligtsaber issue:
well since color crystals also have condition and decay too fast in my opinion...
why cant they be craftable? they have no stats anyway... only makes ur saber work and determines the color.
as jedi u need a working saber... its a must, its ur weapon.
as additional thing u could grand color shematics with advancements... like first gen red, yellow, 2nd gen green brown, 3rd gen purple, 4th blue and so on... if not.. then umm just let us chose from a color palette like tailors ..
test center :
well true jedis cant test out the jedis actually without recources and crystals,... and no reroll button.. we need to be able to surrender skills and relearn them wthout earning that mass amount xp

Initial Issue :
- I was disconnected during my skill allocation and was not given an option to continue where I left off.
Game Testing issues:
- No Jedi Robes for testing purposes. If we can't test robes, this test won't be as good. Jedi Padawans on Test Center should get Jedi robes. Do Wookiees have Jedi Robes available to them?
- No Lightsabers components; therefore, no lightsaber testing. Everyone on the Test Center should get enough materials in their inventory to allow them to build and test 5th Generation sabers. Jedican't get agreat feel for the overall Jedi system without lightsaber testing.
Biggest Jedi gameplay issues:
- Force regeneration takes entirely too long. Basically, it feels that force regeneration should be 100% faster than it currently is (ie. instead of taking 12 to 15 minutes to regenerate; the time should be around 5 minutes) After I killed 1 slum rat and 1 Ronto, I had to sit for about 12 minutes. That is too much downtime considering that millions of Jedi XP isrequired;force regeneration should be boosted considerable (less sitting around for 15 minutes!). Please consider this issue!
- Jedi skills seem to offerinteresting abilities. However, many force sensitive skills do not add to force regeneration nor to overall force pool. As a result, these skills are more of ahandicap than desirable (Jedi will go for more force pool and more force regeneration).All skillseither should probably add to force pool and regeneration or do something VERY useful.
- Force damage vs. force cost used needs to be investigated. Considering how much force pool is used and how little damage is actually done, this needs to be investigated. I suggest the force costforall Jedi specials shoulduse 50% less force cost while thedamage done needs about a 50% increase (a good starting point to test from).
To summarize,
- Consider decreasing the time required to regenerate theforce pool. I suggest a good starting point would be at least50% less time required to regenerate your force pool (at Jedi Padawan level). Considering we have a TEF and considering how long it take to regenerate, this needs to be tweaked considerable.
- Many Jedi skill boxes require skill points, but do not add to the Jedi's force pool max nor to their Jedi force pool regeneration speed. As a result, these force skill boxes are a handicap.
- Jedi damage done vs. force pool cost should be evaluated. I suggest a good starting point would be to decrease the force costfor all specials byapprox. 50% and increase the force damage done by approx. 50%.
Not 100% sure that this is a bug but:
When using different sabre types you get specific sabre XP e.g If i use sabre lance for kill i will get 1100 lsabre lance XP and 110 jedi xp same for 1 hand and 2 hand. The Skill trees for sabre user all take jedi XP so I am not entirely sure where all this weapon spec XP is supposed to go. Not sure if its residual xp or meant for something that isnt coded/working yet.
Right, have had crystals foe best part of a day now, so Ive had a chance to try some stuff![]()
Firstly, you can craft refined crystal packs and sabers with a weapon, droid and general item crafting tool.
If that is NOT a bug, then everything can be experimented on apart from crystal packs.No way to experiment them.
Color crystals decay at a huge rate, as an average 1000 condition, you could only acheive about 100000 jedi xp at the current decay rate.You would need 2 for every first level saber box.
That seems a bit excessive.
Lairs take no damage from sabers, although combat spam shows damage, and jedi xp is given for every special.
This could be used to exploit xp with no danger, kill the first spawn and sbaer the lair for as long as force lasts, no damage to the lair, nothing else spawns, but xp is still gained.
Having spent 2 hours giving out resources and crafting tools in bestine so others may test, both chat and the bazaar operating are an essential to make this a successful test.
Very difficult to coordinate with the other testers without a tcpa2 channel ![]()

When I kill things with my lightsaber only, most of the time I don't get saber xp, only jedi xp. (10% of normal xp)
If I kill something using my tka skills AND lightsaber, I sometimes get unarmed, lightsaber and jedi xp, but not always.

Forgot that when I hover over my lightsabers in my inventory, they are all called 2h melee weapons, both the 2 hand version and 1 hand.
Lightsaber experimentation appears to be broken. When using a weapon, droid, and general crafting tool in front of a weapon, droid, and general crafting station, I only get one experimentation point to spend despite having Experimentation IV and Lightsaber Novice. I have a lightsaber crafting kit, yet this seems broken as well.
The character title bug needs to be fixed for this release. Currently, the title you logout with is the one you keep until you change it whether you have the skill anymore or not. We could effectively have several "Jedi Chancellors" and "Dark Jedi Overlords" via this bug unless something is done about this. While you're fixing this, *please* fix it so "no title" can be saved (it isn't saved currently and it always reverts to the character's last saved, non blank title).
I am unable to use any lightsaber that I craft. After I craft the sabers I select Open Lightsaber nothing happens. All the lightsabers I craft do Restraint damage not Lightsaber damage.

I am unable to also make the training Lightsaber. In my datapad It does not show up I get an unkown schematic (). When I try to craft the item I get an error message of Crafting error: no test prototype.
