awww, are rebels having it tuff, and for thoose who say that they are only in it for pve should go neutral imo, declaring a side is the same as giving consent to be attacked by the other faction, wether it is players or npc's, even though the crackdown is no where close to what the world is in the star wars movies, im finding it amuzing to see rebels whine about them beeing violated by imps, and why on earth would a dancer only choose side?


hope the word galatic war rings a bell ppl, and pitty guy who got his precious reb pack taken lol, rebels should have one hell of a time in this game, otherwise it wouldnt be star wars, u dont see "overt" terroist running around in new york without getting pinned down now do you.

i've been rather dissapointed with the entire thing, aside from the neat star destroyers in the air. I've yet to -ever- see a crackdown in the wilderness, and every time i see stormtroopers coming into a cantina on tattooine a single rebel or two will take down the entire squad without even a scratch to him if he is buffed. This is from every cantina i've visited on Tatooine and Corellia.


overall aside from having a few wilderness stormtrooper squad spawns, which have been more of an annoyance (having 20 stormtroopers patroling your mission lair when you do it is terrible for your xp) so aside from a few pretty visuals ( the star destroyers) The crackdown has really had little effect that i've seen on Bloodfin


my Solution - if the first cantina squad gets attack, send in a sqaud of the bigger stormtroopers, or darktroopers with actual player commando weapons, like flamethrowers or Lightning beam cannons.

Imperial Crackdown was a great idea that was watered down and then implemented and to know ones surprise it is an utter and total failure. Darth Vader looks like a clown and I am embarressed to be an Imperial.


The theme park missions are a total joke. For example, the Emperors Retreat, why are they just regular faction type random spawning missions? Why are their so many rebels RIGHT NEXT TO THE EMPERORS SECRET RETREAT! Those missions need story, those missions need depth, those missions need to be completely reworked. I should be going to Yavin4, Endor, Dathomir, Talus and taking on tough groups of organized Rebel resistance. Running 693 m north to find a rebel camp , that is just like any imperial faction mission camp spawn, is stupid, and as a gamer and Star Wars Fan, it insults my intelligence.


My one year subscription anniversary comes up soon. You have developed so little of this game and so much of it still remains broken. This game is going to go down as the greatest mmorpg failure, why, because so many people have stuck through this thing, and it doesnt deliver on any aspect other than, visually it kinda looks like Star Wars.

Yeah give storm troopers flamethrowers as powerfull aas player ones. Let's end these ST clown story and make it SW.

Crackdown? What crackdown? I noticed some Stormtroopers lingering out in the middle of nowhere on Naboo.


There were some walking around Mos Entha...but they didn't stop me once for questioning.


The only cool part of the crack down was when a DEV entered the game as a Storm Trooper and brought some forces in to investigate our Stage Production (Play) and said it was fostering anti-imperial sentiment. Then he dropped a shuttle with a dozen Stormies and a firefight ensued in the town square.



Overall....I stand by my "Crackdown? What Crackdown?" question. I'm very disappointed in this game.

really it was a complete joke.

I mean yea the things said on the homepage made me actually want to keep playing the game but after the thing was put in? Rebel fp farm, barely anyone gets scanned, but on the bright side there are new star destroyers in the sky.......

seriously though, what i see happening is the developers are putting in bare minimum work. You it seems are not willing to go the extra distance and make the game really good, but instead make it just passable and then come up with a whole new line of promises.


Imperial crackdown was an embarassment and truly showed how little you actually care about this game.

I can stand next to a group of crackdown troopers with a full set of sliced armor, 2 crates of Muon, 5 sliced wepons, a rebel faction backpack, and a rebel theme park bandolier and NOTHING happens to me LOL!!!
