Please make craftable paintings from player screenshots! It would make the artisan profession boom if it was placed there, with different sizes for different skill boxes so you could benefit from not being a master. Each player could have an alloted in game screenshot limit through the use of a crafted or looted camera item, collecting film etc.
Make it happen!! Everybody loves paintings!

Feature Request: Group Duels
Purpose: In game events where group A needs to be hostile to group B (and only group B) Oppoiste overt status does not work as:
1) The groups may not be uniformly of one faction
and
2) Leaves the event open to griefing by other overts
Proposed Implementation:
Group leader A challenges group leader B. When group leader B accepts, all of group A is hostile to all of group B. This could end after a short period of time, or when one group is wiped out.
This would allow player events to be created where combat is a portion of it without the need for either duel macros, or opposite overt status (for the reasons above)

There is one thing that I would like to see in the game that from what I can tell, currently isn't planned.
A Database Limit Increase for Resources and Crates.
As a programmer, I know that databases can take a hit and in a game like SWG there is a lot of data to contend with. You guys could easily cut down on your data requirements by increasing the size of resources stacks. Currently, resource stacks are set at 100k.
Lets take a not so fictional scenario. I have1 million resources of the same type. It might sound like alot but it is happening more and more on the servers.
That is 10 stacks of 100k
10 x 100 = 10 Rows in the database.
If resources stacks were set to 500k
2 x 500k = 2 Rows in the database.
Butwith smallerresource stacks things quickly spiral out of control. What if you have 200 stacks of resources? That means you need a 2nd house. What 10% of the people on the server has to do this? Ask yourself how many houses crafters have.
Crates are the same problem. There is a maximum of 50 items per crate. What happens when you have 10 crates? With higher limits you could have 2 crates instead.
That saves alot of database space.
The fewer number of records you have to scan, the faster your database is.
faster database= less lag = happier customers = more subscribers

can't you try and do that stuff? like then you use your mouse and when you hold it on the sit command you get a list out of it place A B C D E or something? would be cool.. now we did it with hiding ottomans called SitA to D under the other spots then the middle one..

ok... i have been playing since the first month the game came out. like the game and the way its going. i have one opinion though on the factions. why not make people able to join other factions. Black Sun, one of the two biggest crime organizations known in star wars has just come to the game in the Death Watch Bunk. already we have Jabba's Palace (apart of theHutt Crime organization, the other biggest crime organization), Nym's strong hold, and Corsec theme parks. why not make these factions able to be joined by other players like the rebel and imperial factions and make these theme parks the base of the factions, but also put outposts for them at certain locations and make them able to be placed in player cities. i mean why should people who are rebel or imperial be the ones to get faction perk compared to those that dont care about the war. i mean smugglers worked primarily for the crime organizations. and bounty hunters did as well. i know from reading the novels that jabba took really good care of his men, as did black sun.... to those that were loyal anyway. plus corsec would basicly be the counter part to the crime aspect of the factions. this would also alow for additional role play, people would be able to either be law abiding citizens, law enforcement officers, crime affiliated citizens, imperials, and rebels.
if any thing the corvettes should make the additional faction easier. since in all of the jabba's palace corvettes revolve around thwarting corsec. so if 3 more corvettes were added for the corsec faction to thwart jabba, like for the destroy mission being to destroy a shipment of spice illegally being moved to another planet and it has to be destroyed before clearence is authorized for the their departure, the assassination being one of his leutenants is leaving corellia and is in transit out of system and the team has to kill him before they leave system, and the rescue mission being an undercover operative with corsec was caputred and is being take to jabba for interrigation, has to be done before they leave system. obviously all these fall under the hour mark.
corsec would unite talus and corellia in a faction(since they are in the same system), and tatooine(jabba's) and lok (Nym's)would be united under the crime organization faction. naboo andendorwould be aligned with imperials and dantooine and yavinwith rebels
faction perks for the two factions would be similar to what imperial and rebels have, just tweaked to fit the faction that they are with. like jabba's being alien support, and corsec being human support. plus bounty hunter armor could also be added to the hutt faction perk like the storm trooper armor is on the imperial. but as for corsec armor perks i have no idea what to use. ubrese armor maybe i dont know that would be for the DEV's to deside.
well thats what i got to say on the matter feed back would be great.

Umm, i have to strongly disagree with this one, Certs for armor would be fine, but disallowing a class to use a given armor type would be bad on many levels...It would only be good for commandos and bounty hunters, because they would be much better equiped than other classes, thus would be way out of balance when it came to PvP or getting higher level loot / rewards from things that need to be dead.
5. Armors should be certificated.
Novice commando, BH,*Squad leader*should get composite armor cert.
Also Commando/BH should get Mandolarian armor cert at Master Box.
Carbineer, Pikeman should get Ubese armor cert at Novice box and Composite armor cert at Master box.
Swordsman, Rifleman should get Padded armor cert at Novice box and Ubese armor cert at Master box.
Pistoleer, Fencer should get Chitin armor cert at Novice and Padded armor cert at Master box.
Smuggler - no armor Cert at novice, Chitin armor cert at master.
Tka - no armor cert but notice Combat acuity skill should be fixed and working.
All other classes should get no armor and no defence skills working ( no melee/ranged defence for CMs etc )
Bone armor should be removed from the game its Star Wars not - Dark Age of Camelot

Well Im all for player bounties. Mainly cause thats how starwars is. But I think only a bounty shoulbe a able to be placed if someone never paid back borrowed money. I dont know how this would be enforced. I say make a speparate cantina only for bounty hunters. Not anyone can go in though. A master BH has to give permission to enter. So its almost secretive when you enter. There is NPC dancers/musicians (cant heal BF, but are just for show) . You go in the cantina with permission and talk to a BH and tell em the problem and offer them a certain ammount of pay to kill this guy. And I say whatever was owed by the "victim" gets given after the BH kills em. Simple as that. But many other things would need to be thought up.

Here's my concept on how to make SWG better:
1.) Hire more staff
2.) Buy better server hardware and more of it
as an alternate to these two suggestions, I have a third:
reduce the monthly fee for playing SWG to $10 per month

I don't think you should need to be certified to wear a particular piece of armor, but I think there should be bonuses that certain classes get for certain types of armor.

Player Bounty System , Any Player may go to a level 3 or higher Spynet Op and in the converse menu gets the option to place a player bounty ( note Bounty Hunters are not able to place bounties). The Spynet op (or other hidden op, gives a name for the player to find as a quest in order to put a bounty on someone) and states they want to place a bounty on someone.The Op responds that this will cost you 50,000 credits to do and the funds are deducted after verification of the player name. This in turn generates a single bounty mission for a live player (and only one mission until deleted or collected,incapped ,etc.).This generates a bounty mission at Investigation level 3 at the normal payout ( after all there are fees and taxes to be collected).There is a timer for missions (24 hrs?)so that multiple missions may not be placed on a willing player and/or the Spynet Op gives the Bounty Hunter another location/planet(Where there are NO bounty hunter terminals) to recieve the biological signature required for tracking from a Special SpyNet Op before beginning the mission. Just some thoughts as to how this could be done.

I think it would also be cool if there was some type of setting a person could set their PC to that would allow another PC to attack them at will. You would set it much like you set yourself to be a helper, roleplayer, etc. This would make it feel like you are in the Star Wars universe. If there is a disagreement amongst two or more people then, if they have set their PC to be vulnerable to attack, either person could decide to just shoot the other guy if they wanted to. There would probably have to be a delay of some sort for taking off the vulnerability. I know if this could be made to work then there would be some really interesting encounters

Something I (and a lot of other people) would like to see:
A window or box in the character screen that shows how much resists the player has to certain types of attacks, i.e. kinetic, energy, stun, etc. It would come in handy for people who use PSGs or different armor types and don't have time to look at each piece of armor.
Anyway, something to chew on...
