Thread: Weekly Rountdable Discussion (Week Ending 1-18-04)
Re-posted from the BE thread in this same forum that hasn't had a response from Blair in 5 days:
6days. It has been6 days since the "invalid" patch and4 days since the reversal. Does SOE have a plan? Care to share it with us? Outstanding issues, in case you had lost track:
1) What are you going to do about completely bugged pets thatwere marked "invalid"? Pets with CL1 that have stats similar to CL50, for instance.
2) What are you going to do about pets that are not bugged but that were created using the system provided andwere deemed "invalid" due to having incorrect CL calculations for the power of the pet?
3) What are you going to do about former Creature Handlers being able to call BE pets above CL10?
4) Have you corrected the system to assure that "invalid" pets can no longer be created?
5) What are you going to do about CL65-70 pets that can't be called by MCH'es who are not wookiees, unless they have Tame/Train clothes?
Please. I beg of you, tell the Bio-Engineers what is going on. In the current conditions, I can't sell a single pet I create so why should I keep playing SWG?
I have only beena member of this forum for less than a day, but having gone through several threads, I noticed while most are started by developers, it seems that their interaction ends there. Going through the threads also reveals multiple accounts of the same type of incidents. A little feed back could help reduce the amount of duplicate posts and keep players happy at the same time. Even if the solution you are working on doesn't pan out, we like to hear that you are trying things.
Also, I do not own a vehicle or droid as of yet, but was curious as to whether travel costs more with these items. If it doesn't I feel it should. It only seems to make sense. Vehicles should be quite expensive to take to other planets. This would also pave the way for 3rd party rates on travel when space becomes an option. Hmm, perhaps I will see if there is a more appropriate space for my other ideas.
"This life may fall on deaf ears, but if even one listens, it is not in vain"
For the last two weeks, I have noticed that during in combat it take way longer for a stim to take effect. I am Doctor 0-0-0-1 but have been master medic for a while. I have asked other medics/doctors if they have noticed the long period of time it takes for a heal for the last couple weeks, and they have agreed that out of no where it has happened to them.
So what I am asking is, have you placed any hotfixes in to slow the speed of stims? Or is this a bug...
Hi TH looks like your going to be busy reading all this, but if you do get a moment could you take a look at this thread we had some really good ideas going by the end of it, on a subject that effects a very large slice of the player base
P.S sorry about how i started it hehe

Welcome to the Weekly Discussion Thread.
Since there was some confusion towards the end of the last, lets call "Week Ending" on Sundays. We'll run this thread through Sunday, January 18th.
I hope everyone had a great weekend
TH, when is all of the 'increased communication' supposed to start?
I have comment to make on the new forum setup.
I feel insulted on the lost of SWG Discussion forum. I think itshowed a lotof disrespect to the player base just to close that forum. It was used a lot for comunacation between players. I think the Devs are trying to be over controling in that aspect. I think it was a mistake and I feel that Devs are pushing away from the comunitee. I have found myself reading the forum even less now. It's going to come to a point where I wont even read them at all I think. It's to bad that they have to feel that they have to control the forums even more than they did before.
Just too sad...

this thread is a joke
It's nice to have a roundtable discussion, but it's kind of pointless if no devs are actually sitting at the table.
