Hi All,


Few words Better and more skill enhancers


The only quest i have done that is worth doing is the theme park on endor cause u get there armor very cool and its somthing new.


So i feel if u complete a full set of Say Nighsister Quests then u get a ArchWitch Outfit that looks soooo cool.


Diffrent Items realted to the person give the quest as said above.


get rid of the credits u get when complet a mission. I just done the prisioner quest on Dathimor he sent me to Fight a SITH (turned out to be a dark jedi master) what do u get NOTHING but a few credits Come on give us somthing worth having.


And of Course somthing on the Side GIVE US BADGES PLEASE lets the ppl know what u have done

Let's face it. SWG is about making money for SOE. That's very clear from the release schedule, etc. In order to keep players paying the $15/month, replayability needs to be high. Sure, content can be added, but I'm not holding my breath based on what I've seen so far. What increases playability for me in other games is treasure, i.e. loot.


I played Diablo 2 for over a year after mastering it because it was possible to find extremely rare and powerful items. Why do players like this, well I believe it's because adding a new powerful item adds a new twist to a character, i.e. I wonder what it would be like to take on a rifleman with a 95% energy resist helmet.


Players are willing to spend many hours playing even if the chance to find these types of items is very small. The crafting system to me is flawed because it's designed around mass production of similar items. It appears to me that SOE uses a somewhat communist philosophy for SWG, meaning that everyone character class should be exactly equal. That won't work for long in my opinion. Human nature is capitalist.


I'd like to offer a prediction: SOE will incorporateextremely rareitems better than what can be crafted because it's a good business decision.

I think the schematics/rare components are a bad idea. If I were to get a rare component, now I have to save up tons of credits so I can pay a crafter to make something with that component. Why should the crafters get rich from the loot drops.


Loot should be useable to everyone and if the policy is to not hurt crafters, it shouldn't make them ungodly rich either.


Maybe armor or weapon addons like powerups but longer lasting or permanent.


Other ideas: Skillpoints, badges, bonus to HAM

I'm sure this has been said, but in general make the items decorative/trophies.


As far as the Scythe goes, please just make this a craftable item!

Skill point tokens. Get five of them to get 10 more skill points. This way you have people doing quest and selling items. Make it so that after you get the 10 free points you can do the quest, but not recieve the extra points for your character. This would prevent farming.


As stated an uber or even good schematic would be nice. But, you have to prevent theft by the artisan. To do this make it be something the artisan can not use. But it gives good exp in the appropriate field. Then they will be begging to make these items for people so they can grind to master faster.

one time use UBER schematic. that way crafters are not kept out of business. Also, trophy rewards.

sorry if this was said, haven't read 10 pages or so


the only drawback to having a schematic is making sure it can be gained by a crafter... it wouldn't do any good really if an uber commando or something got it and had no crafting skills... so in that light, i would say a data disk with a schematic... tradable until you used it. a badge would be a great incentive too.. or even a unique trophy for a house... just something so that people can say... hey, look what i did, here's the proof! maybe the head of the boss creature or a named weapon from an NPC (unusable or crappy stats even, next line says why)... and make sure the graphic for both is about chest/head high so it can be hung on the wall and put on display even in a house with no stairs.


Another thought would be some resources with some really high stats. not this one and 2 thing you get dropped, and not just random stats, but a whole pile ofsome really good stuffstuff.. 5k or some arbitrary numberof copper with 900 plus conductivity and OQ. or a stash of a few thousand eggs from a boss creature with 900 plus pot. energy, OQ, and flavor. anyway, you get my drift...

If you are going to insist on making everything in the game a crafted item, then the only thing that would be worth the time would be skill increasing items, or enhancement items. At least these could be sold to other players if you got one you didn't need... crafters are THE money sink in the game, adding real loot to the game would probably make the economy healthier by giving the non-crafters some items to sell/trade.


If the database is having so much trouble then I would completely cut out ALL decorative items, broken what-nots, and and skill enhancers that enhance less than 2 points in anything to save room... and from the looks of the bazaar there is a lot of garbage out there filling peoples inventories...

Im sure some of my ideas have been mentioned already but just in case they have not hear i go


- My problem is the lack of anything, from my experience so far i havent seen any loot, for example i have been in the tusken camp atleast 20 times, we kill up and down, and i have never pulled an item from either a dead tusken or those containers that are spread about the place...i would not care if its as simple as a tusken idol, or a pair of old gloves that i cant equip. Something other that xp should be gained in those kind of places.


- More badges would be nice (for example) saving a nomad from getting smoked by a group of spiece fiends.. that happens to me all the time and i dont even get a thank you.


- rare items such as rugs, paintings, cups, clothes, idols etc. so we can personalize our homes and PA's


- faction items (for example)as a rebel if i kill a stormtrooper, i would like to be able to loot 1 piece of his armor as a trophy. make it so it cannot be worn!


- and nothing would be cooler for me to be able to hanga head of a kryt dragon (or some other huge kill)on my wall.

If the missions were tough enough , how about a reward clothing or badge and rarely an increase in skill pool? If the skill could be increased througha deed,it obviously could only be used once. It could also be sold or traded. I know this may be more than you were looking for but its just a thought. Thanks

I would like to see more "effective" skill enhancers. Better home decorations (mainly artwork) is also a pluss. Unique weapons, armor etc. items to be used that can only be found off loot and not made from artisans. Perhaps rare random quests w/ high payout or special badges to get ppl more involved in the npc's w/ the "i" over their heads.

a simple sumarys


1: For the faction group, a positive advance in the overall story or some personal recognition for a job well done maybe a faction perk, medal, rank or a large amount of faction points...or something assigned to me, personel or a schematic


2: Some unique item or equipment


3: Money, though it isnt going to drive me through a big quest

Stop giving me broken Viewscreens for Quests lol. I have no use for them!!!


Give me something that will help my profession. For example a Skill enhancer that will grow with my level of quests. This would be something decent. Since Crafters can not make Skill enhancers and they rarely drop.
