1. NPCs to interact with.


How about having the prospective FS questors

How about having the prospective FS questors attending a shrine then being approached by a Blue Glowie from the Jedi council of episodes 1&2.

a different one can give out each

2. Missions /Quests


In my opinion the quests should be multil layered, such as one leg can be to find a particular person/thing in a general location and convince the individual to performe a certan action or agree to a settlement (Jedi Mind Trick).


Another might be to wrest/ aquire a dangerous artifact (sith Holo) this might require different actions according to Light or Dark and one side or the other might want to destroy the item or return it for use.


A very simple explorer mission might be to simply visit each of the Jedi shrines. Of course this might be made more difficult by dangerous agressive creatures spawning near the shrine upon the persons arival. (force calm).

I was too lazy to check through the entire thing, but I have one thing that really gets me mad about jedi. Now I haven't reached jedi yet myself, but several people I know have, and according to them, the jedi have three sabre styles right? Single, 2handed and polearm. But hold on! what ever happened to the dual weild style that you see, not only in the movie, but in practically ever jedi game! The one sabre style I was looking forward to...and it's not even there . Another thing, why do jedi have to build two different lightsabres for 2hand and single? According to most Jedi games done by lucas arts, the lightsabre can have the blade's length changed without having to create a whole new one. (this also adds another thought....where is the 'light' style???)


seriously, what ever gave you the idea to make 2 different trees(and not to mention items) for a single sabre, andforget dual wield and the 'light' style of the single sabre?

Antilles has a point. I was wondering the same thing about the 2 handed and the 1 handed. they're really the same thing if you're using just 1 sabre. Episode 2 showed Annakan using dual sabres(though his skills weren't very good) and on many of the jedi games dual sabres was an option. I haven't reached jedi either, but that's what i was hoping to see. The sabres could be be crafted so that they come in pares and cannot be seperated to use as a single sabre. It would finally give SWG an actual 2 handed profession. And the ideas of using the jedi glowies for the FS trials seemed good too. But Luke Skywalker is still alive right? Maybe he can have a small part in FS trials too. Hahaha, if you want, you can give a mission that requires you to retrieve an item inside a building and make it out of a place alive(but without using super battle droids, and other insanely strong stuff) where you can just run for your life.

I only have comment on the Force Powers.

In my opinion, they are far too weak.


Force Choke ticks 5 times around 200-300. This is ok against a normal player, but it'snothing a Buffed player can't heal when there is a Medic around, a novice medic with B-Stimms can heal this.

Force Choke is one of the deadliest Force Powers around, there should be no way that anyone can survive a succesful Choke. Jedi should have special protection Powers to stop Force Powers, things like absorb, Feedback are nice. (Force Enhancer is fine the way it is.)

Force Lightning should'nt be exeptionally powerful, but it should be able to disable a player, when Anakin was hit by lightning in Episode II, was was in pain and agony, unable to continue his battle for sometime.This should be factored into the attack. The amount of damage done should relate to a timer that a player will be disabled, a kind of super short incap. Armour will help against this since Lightning will do little damage and thus will have little incap effects.

A full hit shouldgive about 8 - 10 seconds of disability. A person with Comp armour should have no more than 2.5 seconds.

Force Lightning should also be blockable by lightsabers, make Lightsaber Block work on Lightning.

I would like to see quest that can be done solo. I love this game but I like to do things solo. I should be able to become a Jedi on my own!!!

Have to give the jedi revamp a D-


It has some coolness to it, but its not playable and thoroughly a dissappointment. I've got 2 0 4 4 on sabers, all novice, and force armor, so you'd think it would be an enjoyable template, but it absolutely is not. I took it up to force armor thinking it would be some kind of replacement to lack of real armor, but its all a fart, and I was working myself out of a 350k negative xp hole, and its just NOT fun. I'm playing my other toons more, and rarely have the jedi logged on anymore.


I dont know why the jedi was changed. It could have been enhanced or tweaked, but why changed? The path to jedi was the problem, the Grind. Now the jedi is not any fun whatsoever. I'm playing my ranger-swordsman toon most nights and weekends, and crafting with my doc. This game is so screwed up now its unbelievable, our best players in our guild have are continuing to quit or go on haitus till JTL, and if it weren't for JTL, you all know that this game would have sunk already.


What are you doing to us?


You sit there and make statements in a vacuum that "we will not be doing this" or the "jedi dev team oppose that" but at the same time, you're creating a game that is NO FUN. So you better get off your high horse and start listening to the players, cause what you're doing is not working. If you ask me, the game should be turned over to a new company for development.
