The game is broken.I dont talk about bugs, etc.. I just talk about what we usually see in game.

I dont like craft. Why ? Because, i will be useless till i reach master armorsmith, then, after being master armorsmith (which can be done in about 8 hours) what should i do ? The RIS quest ? yea. I would like to do it. But there's a fact. Even at master armorsmith, i wont have fun. because of the broken economy. Because of that high-end crafting system which need you to place factories everywhere.

What the hell !? We are A.R.T.I.S.A.N.S. ! Not Industrials !...

Ok it's a game design.... Ok, nevermind. It's obvious a master elite-artisan is forced to buy a second account to place his large house, and his factories (or have a little ridiculous house)...

Ok, ok... Game design. But where's the fun in grinding ? Oh right, dont grind... How artisans (who dont want to grind) are supposed to level up to master ? Since it's only after master they can make xp without grinding (but obviously it's useless to make xp after master... -_-)

Oh, and i meant the game is broken because of those uber-prices, and those soooo low way to earn money for noobs.

(i dont whine, i'm multi-millionaire, i just think about the noobs characters).

The prices are high, because of the uber-loots (krayts pearls == become multi-millionaire in second !).

Uber-loots also provide such behaviours like "ninja-looting", which is completely out of fun.

And Uber-loots make people millionnaire, and since artisans know that, they increase their prices. So uber-loots make regular crafted item more and more expensive.

Uber-loots also create amasing, but really stupid situations like the borgle cave where you can find 24/7 2-3 players afk looting the debris.

Finally it seems there's NO FUN in uber-loots... But... Without uber-loots, we all know that elite combat professions are getting bored of the game, till they reached master.

Conclusion : loot system is broken. And since the loot is currently the center of the economy, the economy is broken. And since the economy is the center of the game, the game is broken.

Why is a bug costing individuals hundredsd of thousands of credits being completely ignored??

Ok, when the cities first came out, I was excited, and joined one of the well known cities that was forming. Shortly after, for many reasons I decided to move to a different city (one of the main reasons for moving was a high income tax). So I move, and lo and behold I am STILL paying that high income tax to the city I moved from!

So, as credits begin to slowly drain from my bank account, I think surely a CSR can easily track this and will fix it. Sure they can track it and know about it... but they don't help. The responses I get? (because I did not let my ticket die with the first response, I kept telling them the response was unsatisfactory until they finally simply deleted my ticket without my consent)

They tell me it is a known bug, and they refuse to compensate me, and also refuse to manually remove me from the city. Same answer from several (4-6) different CSR. I think, ok maybe this makes sense not to put manpower on manually removing people from cities if they are working on an immediate hotfix. Now it has been months and this bug is giving away my credits in the hundreds of thousands mark (due to the high income tax). A bug that has been KNOWN for just as long, yet they refuse to do anything about it. I cannot say that it is being STOLEN because the mayors of the cities do not have the option of removing me, so they are not willingly taking my money. But taking it they are, and at this point I think not having any sort of workaround or solution is completely UNACCEPTABLE!

As I watch my bank account dwindle into nothingness I am getting very very frustrated.

Fix this or put in a workaround NOW, please!

Well due to my inability to do math (and the fact that I deleted the income tax emails after the CSR refused to do anything and told me it was a known bug) I think maybe it's not in the hundreds yet, but I think since some cities were updating multiple times per week I did get charged more than once per week several times so I am far beyond the normal amount I would have paid if I had simply been charged one time per week.

Still, it does not lessen the impact to individuals who do not make money quickly, and needs attention all the same.

Idea for Artisan-based Crafter Profession-

1. Create safe-zones for Artisan Harvesting. This will help by allowing artisans to harvest and survey safely without the threat of death from high-level creature and NPC mobs. It will also allow artisans to dedicate most if not all of their skill points to a crafting profession, instead of getting a combat class to protect them while doing harvester/survey runs. I am having some trouble getting to my harvesters that are sometimes swarmed with difficult creatures, and a safe-zone (sort of like a protected farming community) would make being a crafter fun. Make the safe-zones spread 2k meters around a city or two on each planet, and have NPC guards patrol the area (Like Cor-Sec on Corellia, Stormtroopers on Naboo, or whatever).

Please dear god DEVs, get rid of the stupid loot in the caves.

I went last night for a bit, had a decent conversation with one person, while two afk zombies had the main pile macro locked.

The person I was talking to had been leaving and coming back off and on and said that the two that were there had been there from 11ish est until at least 6ish, probably still there.

**edit** is up with the DEVs who will screw up the Jedi situation, lose people's accounts, and can not fix something as SIMPLE as this.

LOCK THE F**KING THINGS AND PUT KEYS ON MOBS.

DO NOT REPLY TO MY TICKET SAYING "this is a priority and is being investigated, and will be addressed in an upcoming patch" WHEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW UP AND WATCH.

I am so so so so so so so so sick of AFK zombies, and sorry kids, it has nothing to do with holocrons.

IT is the people who sit at Star Ports advertising their heads off over and over, and the people who just stand at the star ports for hours on end.

The cantina entertainers I do not care about at all, because I can remember back in the day when I started and couldnt find an entertainer to save my life.

MOVE THE AFK LOSERS INTO THE MIDDLE OF A DRAGON SPAWN, AND THEN LET THEM COME BACK TO THE COMPUTER IN THE MORNING TO FIND THEIR LOSER SELVES IN A CLONING CENTER.

DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE.

Well, that's a bit hypocritical now... they are only AFK-Losers if they don't help you personally ?

Get rid of ALL unattended gameplay please. That's not a coding fix, that would be a policy fix long overdue.

CGW has given SWG the 2003 Coaster of the Year award; just got it out of my mailbox when I got home tonight...

Complaints they had:

"..valuted to the pinnacle of this years garbage and clung to the top spot with a vigor that is so woefully absent in the game itself."

"a souless compendium of game design theories masquerading as entertainment"

"utterly bereft of the action, thrills, and intrigue that used to tipify the Star Wars universe"

"gamers are expected to shiver in excitement over the opportuniry to make shoes and sports bras for other players"

"to heal by sitting down and watching other players punch hotkeys under the delusion they are "performing". No they are paying $15 a month to press F12."

"Was there anything more mean-spirited in gaming in 2003 than Galaxies Jedi Policy, making becoming a Jedi nigh to impossible, then rewarding the one or two lucky shut-ins that actually become Force Sensitive with permanent character death after months of misguided devotion?"

"Biggest disappointment of the year"

"pay-as-you-go force-feeding of dirt"

I say it time we come to the defense of our game!!! It may not be perfect, but it does not diserve this!

The discussions on Stacking Defences seem to be an all or nothing issue. I do understand that balance is nessasary, but why not try hit a middle ground and spread ALL defence and state bonuses in a class throughout the four trees. This was done with the creature levels of the Creature Handler Profession, and I think it was a good fix for that problem, and it may work as well for this problem.

People who wish to play purely combat oriented classes should benefit from it over a person who is a Combat/Crafter (for instance).
