I agree completely.

The Warren is far more interactive and story/puzzle based than the Theme Parks, which I love. But the fact that only one person in the group needs the codes/rods/etc. to deactivate/activate/whatever is boring.

It just seems it might be better if it was more like Jabba's where everyone has to do the missions to advance. Yes, you can (and should) help each other, but if everyone doesn't get the mission and complete it, they don't go on to the next step. Yes, that means more time spent, so spawns might need to be tweaked a bit. But that way we ALL have a reason to go running around. Otherwise, we're just cannon fodder for the person doing all the work and getting the story.

Hey wxgunny,

First of all this is scifi(take place in a galaxy far far away), second we see in the movies that the high officers and people with importance were humans and not another species, do not start bringing in here racism garbage.

Those are the rules of the Empire, humans will be always favored over other species, try to do a bit of roleplaying, do not start comparing Star Wars with reality. There is no bigotry against anyone, for crying out loud this is Star Wars we know how the Empire is. Accept the rules of the Star Wars universe or move on.

Thanks.

Well, my guild and I tried to do it completely spoiler/guide free...Boy, were we in for a dreadfull evening...I mean, the background is great, and the mobs are fun but...

- The entrance : we actually had to get a wee bit of spoiler to know *how* to even enter the place. That shouldn't be so...Why not make the NPC be in sight of the entrance ? Hence when newcommers arrive and see they can't enter, they'll try and speak to the git. As it is now, if they don't know where to look for him, only blind luck will be of any help for them (unless maybe there is some kind of herald somewhere that talks about him ?)

- running around a non-linear dungeon trying to solve a linear quest is *not* fun. It means you have to backtrack all the time in case you missed something, and never actually know you missed something until you've cleared half the dungeon...Frustrating. And very difficult to organize when you're in charge of a big group (we were maybe 10) since with people getting impatient, people getting bored, group splitting etc...Especially coupled with...

- an awful, awful, awful map, which displays each and every level piled upon each other, making orientation completely impossible, unless you draw you own map on the side, which takes time (unless you jot it down on the run, which usually ends up with one unreadable map ).

- problem with the letter, keys, power rods etc... : when you do the Warren alone, I suppose it's fine. In a big group, even with faster spawning times, not everyone can participate in the dungeon's solving (battles left alone). In order to efficiently solve puzzles, you have to name a Main Looter to get the keys and quest-items, which means every other in the group is basically just helping him do the dungeon. Same with the widow sub-quest : in a big group, either not everyone gets the letter, or you have to wait a long time until everybody gets his...

Apart from those major problems, I quite enjoyed the story behind it, the visual of it is completely in tone with the setting...but still, if it stays that way, I'll never ever set foot in there again, even though I'm only one evidence away from getting that badge

did the warren alone 2 nights ago, took in 3 stormtroopers who died in the first room, had to try a few times died i think 3 or 4 times.

enjoyed it alot, had an element of being very hard but easy once u know how to do it.

for instance I was able to do the warren alone because I used feign death alot, and spices heheh. if i took it slow using corrodors to heal and prepare it was easy enough, rushing = quick death.

ctrl m, map is just wrong, its not unuseable but its hard to manage, particularly on the move.

very proud of the badge, you should be proud of this great map.

as i agree with player frustration...lord i can only imagine developer frustration in trying to decide not only how to fix but what to fix next nor could i imagine the amount of code involved....hmmm.... War & Peace has nothing on it i assure everyone :]

in 5 years of mmorpgs i've never seen a game get it together as fast as swg :]

you guys are doing a fantastic job :]

overview map is very confusing - could use level option so you only see what level your on

Probably the best of the SWG quests, but there are so many problems with it (STILL after the fixes), it is more frustrating than anything else. And for those fortunate enough to overcome the bugs and finish the quest you get.... A BADGE? Why even do it?

The Asheron's Call quests from several years ago were light years ahead of this quest. And they worked with multiple people. This SWG quest wasapparently tested by a single tester, since the first person through the dungeon tends to break it for everyone else. Nice Quality Assurance people they have. The one they have is apparently incompetent, or they need to buy him a second computer so he can runtwo accounts at once and find the dozen bugs I found the first time I tried this quest.

I think the warren is one of the best things added in this game.

If there was more quests like theses... I would have a field day

I personally love the warren! Not only is it a great place to get XP, but brought a badge with some depth...especially if you did the entire match. The whole thing seemed like Resident Evil because everyone was crazy inside.

I think it would be great to add more places like that. I do, however, have one negative to the Warren and that is the map. You can hardly use the CTRL-M map to see where you're going because all of the levels overlap each other. If there was a way for it to understand that and only show the current level you're on, that would be beneficial.
